I had a very disappointing experience purchasing a motorhome from this dealership in Leduc. From start to finish, the financing process was unprofessional and poorly managed. Communication was disorganized, and I was sent the same sale documents multiple times, which made the entire process feel chaotic and unreliable. Things didn't improve after the purchase. I picked up the motorhome two months later, after being told certain work would be completed beforehand. I drove an hour to the dealership only to find that none of the promised work had been done. Instead of resolving the issue, I was forced to drive back home and arrange the repairs myself. Now I'm stuck fighting with them to cover costs for work they had already agreed to complete. This has turned into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal, not to mention the unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of organization, poor communication, and what feels like a lack of honesty and accountability. Do not recommend purchasing trailer here - unless you read every line of paperwork completed by them. They do not stand behind their word - or a clerical error on their part. Back in 2018 we purchased a trailer from Fraserway in Leduc. We traded in a trailer that we had an extended warranty on that we did not use and was on the fence purchasing one for this trailer. After being ensured it was refundable we decided to commit to the extended warranty. We entered the refund date into our cell phone calendars with the finance manager that sold us the warranty and even circled the date on the warranty documentation so we would remember the date if we did not use it -as you had to ask for the refund within a certain time period. After avoiding using this warranty and paying for parts and repairs personally we reached the refund date without utilizing the warranty after 7 years. Upon calling to start the refund process we were informed that we were enrolled in the non refundable warranty and that was what we paid for. After reaching out to Fraserway I was passed on to the Finance Manager that now works at the Edmonton location. She reviewed it all and sent back the information to the Leduc GM. I asked for Fraserway to stand by their word and provide compensation for what I would have been refunded minus the difference in price for the refundable warranty. After discussions with the GM he came to the conclusion below: We must stand by the contract that you signed. Contracts are documents which serve to outline an agreement to provide a product or service for a certain price between parties. At the time of signing, all customers are invited to review what they are signing as the ultimate responsibility is with the signatory. However he did offer compensation to the sum of half what the refund would have been as a customer service gesture and in exchange I would need to sign a release form. Being able to trust a establishment and what I am being sold is more important than compensation so I have decided to share my experience with others to avoid the same experience with Fraserway. With understanding it comes down to the customer to review the paperwork and it was 7 years ago I would reccomend shopping somewhere that stands behind their word, but if you do choose to support Fraserway be sure to review all your paperwork. read more

One star is too much!!!!! We purchased a new East to West 1900 MMK holiday trailer for nearly $50 k in February 2024 from Fraserway Lacombe at the RedDeer RV show. The experience of the purchase at the RV show went fairly smooth, but the problem was we dealt with a salesman that worked out of the Airdrie store, this will come into play later. The manufacturer Rep was at the show, and during the negotiations he promised some additional items to be part of the sale that would be shipped directly from the manufacturer to us. Went to the Lacombe store on March 6, 2024 to make the final payments, after that things started to slide. The additional items that were promised to be sent directly to us, found out later the manufacturer only ships to Fraserway. A month goes by, no items, called several times and was told by Fraserway staff that the items had been shipped, turns out they weren't. Lots of run around, very little communication from Fraserway staff, many phone calls to the dealership, dealing with different people because we had no salesman to talk to at Lacombe, finally was admitted to that the parts hadn't shipped yet. We finally received the parts promised about 6-7 weeks after purchase of the trailer. Now comes to the 90 day warranty, Fraserway tells you about this after you have done final payment. Sounds good, fix things that the one year warranty doesn't cover, not so much. First off you are expected to leave the trailer with Fraserway for 7-10 days until items you have identified are approved by East to West, this could be during prime camping season, or you leave a $$$ deposit to make sure you bring back your trailer for them to work on, essentially holding your trailer or your $$$ ransom. It finally took about 2 months for the parts to arrive for the work that needed to be done, we haven't even used the trailer yet. Dealing with the front end service staff, Tara, I found extremely rude. The only reason I received regarding the leaving the trailer or paying $$$ deposit was they had been screwed over in the past, and that is the way it is now. No one could or would identify what actually was covered under the "One year warranty". My overall experience is I should have kept my old trailer and avoided Fraserway Lacombe. My feeling is that once they have your money, you just aren't that important to them anymore. Once the few items that require attention are resolved, I am going to do everything in my power to stay away from Fraserway RV Lacombe. I have requested the parts that were ordered by Fraserway from Forest River to repair the "warranty issues" we identified so I could just repair them myself and I could be done with this dealership. I received some of the parts on August 19, 2024 but will not be going back because I do not want to deal with anyone at this dealership ever again. The General Manager was very indifferent as to how we were treated when I talked to him. Never wanted a warranty period to end on anything I have ever purchased more than with this dealership. During this whole terrible experience, Kevin the service manager has left and Tara is now the new service manager, I can't imagine any good experiences for any customer will come from that promotion. Found a 2018 used motorhome on your lot made appointment to test drive and look at motorhome. Went on a test drive with sales person got back to the dealership drive was good just a vibration coming from the drive train But then was told that the units slide and power awning And generator where not operational due to not having batteries. Could not even tell us where the sewer hose is kept in the motorhome . But not to worry there is a 30 day in-house warranty. You would think a good run dealership would make sure there sales staff has some knowledge on what they are selling. Made a appointment to sign the sales agreement and do the financing. Drove a 100 km to do the signing.I think is the sales manager came in to the finance office and stopped us from signing they have not looked at our trade-in so at this pointer where unable to sign.It was another waste of my time and money.Also you would think a well managed dealership would make sure the units are somewhat issues free. I understand that it is possible to miss a few un obvious issues but come on. It appears that your dealership is to sell the motorhome and wait to see what the customer finds the repairs that need to be addressed in the first 30 days. This probably works on most unsuspected customers but not me. Bruce Marcia is trying to make it sound like Fraserway Rv is doing me a favour.and trying make statements that are a right out lie or he was given the wrong information but after my phone conversation I would suspect he is trying to lie.Bruce clams that I had a complaint that I was unable to lock the door with the door key which I was giving with the motorhome.The key I was given would not work for any locks on my motorhome. The service manager Harley tried the key in every lock would not work.There for I was given a key that works. This is a simple issue that should not happen but Bruce Marcia is saying I was trying to use the key in the wrong lock Come On Bruce. Then Bruce is again trying to make it look like he's doing us another favour by replacing the battery but what he left out was the battery was a old battery that had being frozen. And installed in my motorhome Pryor to delivery. My first trip out the first night the battery died.had to plug my motorhome in my sons generator as for we could not get mine to start.Then he claims a new battery was installed which is a lie again a used on was installed So stop trying to make it look like Fraserway is going above and beyond. Bruce Marcia keeps saying that the awning works 100% but motorhome must be level. Bruce need to send his service manager Harley for some training this way he would not have waisted my time and money over and over. The first time Harley and Glen looked at the awning failing to roll out was in Fraserways parking lot. Why was nothing said then about the awning needing to be level.Instead they recommended it needed alignment no to be level. The next time they did not say anything about it having to be level to operate properly I was told it needed to be lubricant. And . It failed to work properly again I was then told it needs new struts.Your service manager is the one who recommended these repairs not me So please stop trying to make it look like you are doing me a special service. Then you mentioned the faucet issue you stated that you ran it for 2 hours well it no wonder I had to repair myself running the faucet for 2 hours is just stupid the faucet leaking when it is close. Water would drip out of faucet and water pump would turn on every few minutes but according to Harley it normal. As for the belts Squealing one of the times I picked up the motorhome from Fraserway the belts where squealing went back in to service to have someone come out and have a look I was told they will find it when it comes back ya right. Your service has cost me lots of money running my motorhome and car back and forth to drop off and pick up. And after all that you tell me that there is nothing wrong with the struts and Fraserway will not be replacing them .And now you are say you put new struts in WTF is going on this is why I am frustrated.Then you have the nerve to tell me to use my own warranty I purchased and go get it fixed somewhere else. Pretty bad upper management that reflects in my buying experience at Fraserway Rv Leduc. And I would also like to say don't forget you $12000.Fraserway made off my trade. Generator hard to start. Back up lights don't work. Oil change 20000 KM. over. These are simple issues that Stereo Cutting in and out and freezing. Fibreglass Delaminating. These issues should of be taken care of before we purchased the motorhome.
