The service and ambience are great. I love the retro vibe of the place. It's very laid back, perfect for playing pool or a night cap! The lavender lemon cocktail I ordered came out fast and was tasty. The food we ordered was hit or miss. The corn dog was solid, not too greasy with a nice fry. The Philly cheesesteak we ordered was a cheese burger in a hoagie with cheese whiz. Probably our fault for ordering a Philly cheesesteak in Texas. The fried pickles were different in that they were spicy, but we weren't fans of the thick cut pickle, it takes away from the crispy fried texture. I would say Fraziers is worth the try though! read more

I can see myself here for a bite to eat, something nice and strong to drink, and do some mingling with my friends as my first visit here was pretty spot on. I really dug the music as soon as I walked in and decided where my clan was planning to post up. That is always a good sign especially for me who thrives on good music + strong drinks. Parking is limited but there is plenty of parking up and down the street along the fancy apartment condos. The street is lit up so I felt pretty safe with my car parked a little further down from the entrance of the bar. Super chill crowd and vibes here from all staff and the patrons. I enjoyed sitting outside on the small but mighty picnic tables. It seats 4 super comfortably with a few friends who were able to stand at the end of the table to converse and use the bar top holder behind them to set their drinks on. Love their french fries as they were thick and almost curly-esque? I also loved the long corndog they have on their menu too. Everything is made to order and came out piping hot! Cool local bar that is off the beaten path. We came here after visiting a brewery down the street so we could enjoy some spirits and shots! Great dive bar. Good food. Friendly staff. Stocked bar and good drafts. The ambience here was nice. We ordered the vegan brat + fries and they were both excellent. The fries (chips) are served British pub style and were really good round discs. We had known about this place for many years but it was nextdoor to a sketchy convenience store and the outside in general did not look very inviting. Our friends had always recommended it and I am glad that we finally gave it a chance. Check this place out if joy are in the area. read more

Frazier's is big cold mugs of beer fantastic! Its dark its loud its enchanting. The bar has some cool vintage beer signs and artifacts for decor, custom pool tables and is all around classy in all the right ways. The food served at Frazier's is bar food perfection. You'd be hard pressed to find a better corn dog and they've made classic greasy bar food like the patty melt relevant again. I've seen them insist that they are "Making Patty Melts Great Again" and I don't think you can prove them wrong. Frazier's is also home to one of the best Thai style chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Which brings to point the unabashed diversity of the bar menu. Take for example the "Chopped Cheese" sandwich served at Frazier's. A New York staple famed for its low cost at local bodega's. Finding one as authentic as the one served here (at least in Texas), is as far as I know impossible. They also continue to respect the heritage of the sandwich's low cost and sell it for only 5 dollars. The staff at Frazier's is the most amazing and friendly group of folks you could ask for. Service is fast, friendly and delivers that everyone knows your name local bar feel that so many places strive for and never achieve. Frazier's deserves nothing less than a perfect score, I cringe when I read reviewer Concerned C.'s review that refers to Frazier's as "Hipster". I cant help but imagine that for him to make such a misnomer he must not be hip enough to even identify what "Hipster" is. His statement that the TV's are never on only continues to reveal his ignorance (see attached photo of TV's on showing the game) shame on you Concerned C. So I give Frazier's Five glowing stars, I'd give them six if it were an option and I look forward to spending many days eating chopped cheese and drinking from giant frosty mugs. Frazier's is everything I want in a local bar. I wish I lived closer so I could call it my own. It's the type of place you want to walk to after work is done and sit down with a drink and brush off the day. There's loads of space inside and the people there seem to really enjoy it all. The closest bar in town is Nickel City, they seem like sister spots. If you like one you'll love the other. Food. They got that too and it's all the greasy fried nonsense you want at a bar when you're knocking back drinks. Corn dogs. Yup. They got em and they're damn good. Want a breakfast corn dog you ask? Yeah, got those too. So next time you want brunch head on over and grab some pancake batter dipped and fried breakfast sausage and dunk it in maple syrup and thank me. Totally worth it. read more

Frazier's is one of my favorite dive bars in austin if you're looking for a escape from the hustle and bustle of rainy street bars! the inside has an old retro theme, with a pool table and jukebox. they have a pretty great selection of food (if you're looking for healthy, this isn't it) consisting of burgers, hoagies (my fav is the chopped cheese), and the flap stick! the flap stick is probably my favorite go-to here, sausage links coating in pancake batter and deep friend served with maple syrup! it's a must try if you're around for their brunch! the bar tenders here are also so incredibly friendly and welcoming! they do have a parking lot in the front of about 10 spots, but there is street parking (it's not a super busy area, so you're sure to find some nearby). definitely check them out as this is one of the bars I frequent when i'm looking for something more low key and relaxed for brunch or a Saturday night! they also have themed days such a cowboy hat friday & $2 coors thursday! read more

Burger was a flashback to the 60's, you could use the corn dog to slay any appetite, corn dog will keep you busy, and the fries were very tasty. Service was quick and friendly. What a fun out of the way cool hipster bar. Drinks and food are on point the menu is very inexpensive! I had Vinnys chopped cheese which was delicious and it was only five bucks. I also had their frozen margarita which is a nod to the locations past being a Mexican restaurant it was delicious. So, I'm a 43 year Austin native. Born and raised, if anyone cares. I have been in the Austin bar seen for fully half of that and never, NEVER, been kicked out of a bar. I have had great report with bartenders, I tip well, I don't complain and I don't get roudy. Never been in a fight inside a bar, never caused a problem. So Monday, January 21st, 2025, I'm sitting at the bar of Frazier's enjoying my 4th or so beer when they start playing their go home audio track at about 10:30pm. So my friend asks if it's closing time. They reply, no, we're closing at midnight, just getting things moving. Now, I don't know if you're familiar but this track is just as obnoxious as possible in order to get people to leave. So, I'm like, I don't care when they close, I'm not listening to this, so I ask for my check and so does my friend. Unbeknownst to me, my buddy writes fuck you in the tip line of his tab, something I don't condone and a dick move. I tip a solid 25% on my tab at the same time. The bartender comes over with some fussing about it and has words with my friend, then picks up his beer and pours it out and tells him to leave. Which he does, without delay. I have not had words with anyone at this point but another bartender comes over and pours my beer out and tells me to leave. Which I do, without delay. Those of you paying attention might have already noticed the aforementioned date and said, I believe it was sleeting that night, and you would be correct. So, my friend and I are standing outside, alone, under the overhang waiting for our rides to pick us up. Mostly, my friend apologizing for getting me kicked out. Then the bartender comes outside, mind you, no one else out there because it's like 26 degrees, and starts hassling my buddy again. Again, I'm not in it because it's not my fight. He tells him to get off the property or he's calling the cops. Right then, my friend's ride shows up and he leaves. Now, the bartender turns on me, and he says I have to go. I ask why he's so pissed at me. I tipped him, I paid for my drinks, I never said shit to him, I still got half my beer thrown out and kicked out of the bar. He says, sorry, collateral damage and holds out his hand to shake. I say, I'm not shaking his hand, I don't agree with what he did. So he says I can get off the property too or he's calling the cops on me. I look him dead in the eyes and ask, are you telling me you want me to go stand in the sleet and wait for my Lyft? He says yes, "fuck off". AUSTIN. I have never been disrespected by a business this bad in my life. This motherfucker told me to go stand in the freezing rain. I did nothing but sit next to a loudmouth. I wasn't making a fuss, I wasn't causing a scene, no swearing, no whining. Just taking my shit home and he tells me to stand in the sleet. This place is AWESOME!! The whole vibe is just so right, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! We had been searching for a new local bar that had food AND was dog friendly, and we definitely found it in Frazier's! They have an awesome retro vibe inside, with some vintage arcade games, a jukebox and pool table. The bar is long, with plenty of seating, and plenty of TV's with sports on. They also have a small outdoor patio which is smoker-friendly as well. We decided to order food after hearing everyone within earshot talking about their menu favorites, and it was the very best choice we made all day! The chili dog was huge, and although they say it's Cincinnati-style chili, it was not cinnamon-heavy like most are, which we appreciated! The wings were some of the best in town, and so meaty, and perfectly crisped. They came extra saucy automatically, so again, another win for Frazier's! The fries are something to write home about, let me tall ya, they are the thick, twisty, plump potatoes, which they sprinkle with their wing seasoning. Holy cow were they amazing! The drinks were cheap, the beer was cold, they had frozens, they have a super fun brunch menu, there literally isn't a single other thing we could have asked for in a bar!
