Shoutout to the awesome cashier Ashley who was super accommodating & sweet. She recommended The A$$hole from El Paso Burger and it was so delicious & flavorful! My partner got the Jewboy Burger and that was so good too. We shared a basket (half n half) of onion rings & fries (which was perfect for the two of us)! This burger spot did not disappoint and learning the history behind it was super cool. Also sitting inside in the cool AC during the hot afternoon was perfect! Will definitely stop by again!

This is one awesome burger joint. Parking is the hardest part... but once inside you won't mind the parking hustle/shuffle. Inside and outdoor seating area. You order at the counter. The text when your order is ready. We got the traditional Jewboy and the Oy Vay (hatch chilies and pepper jack cheese) with 1/2 and 1/2 tots and fries. Mexican coke (they recycle!) I'm not much of an outdoor eater but the inside was full. However it was a nice cool day in Austin and the bugs weren't too annoying. Definitely will return to try other menu items!

Ah! The Beef Burger! I've heard so many great recommendations for Jewboy and stopped in for lunch. Service was professional but not kind. It's counter service and the worker recommended The Yenta. I also got a side of fries with it. The Yenta burger was good but not great. Overall, I really enjoyed how simple and delicious it was. I wish the burger was thicker and had more beef, I really wanted a large thick burger but this one was sort of thin and small. The fries were perfectly crisp and fresh but not worth $7. Not a place I would seek out again but I'm glad I can check it off my list!

It was a clean area to eat with choices of high tops, booths or outdoor covered seating. Parking is limited but there is street parking available. You order at counter and they call your name. Beer and other beverages are available. The menu is diverse with hamburgers ,hotdogs and burrito. It was good. A nice casual place with lots of character.

The burgers were amazing, the fries are crispy and with a little seasoning, was super yummy. The outside area is nice giving it a cute vibe. The service was good, they were super helpful.

A definite must when in Austin! It's not your ordinary burger, and if you like, they'll top your burger off with a latke or house made pastrami. And not only do they serve burgers, but burritos, hot dogs, flautas, and sides. The line to order can get long, but it moved steadily. Seating indoors and out, and parking was limited. We ended parking in the neighborhood. I had seen this place posted on many IG foodie sites and couldn't wait to try. I ordered the Rio Grande Rueben without cheese. Yummo!! The juicy burger was topped with house made pastrami and kraut. Both additions were not overly salty or overpowering and the 1000 island dressing/ mustard were the perfect amount. I actually added some schmutz house sauce to my burger lol We also added tater tots and crinkle fries and they were delicious - perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Ordered various latkes- they were ok, we preferred the fries and tots more. Loved the spicy ketchup and schmutz! Sat outdoors in the beautiful mild sun and enjoyed our food. Tasty food, excellent friendly service, and they offer military discount! We'll be back when in the area : )

I had a lunch here in early January after having seen news stories about this Austin burger joint. It is in its own building with both indoor and outdoor courtyard seating. Parking is somewhat limited in their small lot or you can find some street parking. I ordered at the counter the Jewboy burger which is their standard burger for $11. Crinkle cut fries were $4.50 and a fountain drink another $3. There was no combo option. The food was ready in about 10 minutes. The burger was dressed with lettuce, pickles, mustard and a slice of cheddar cheese. It was a big burger and greasy which made it a little sloppy to hold. Taste wise it was ok but I wanted more beef flavor (3). The fries were hot and very good taste wise. I enjoyed them. While the crinkle cut fries were very good the burger slightly underwhelmed for me. And since this is a burger place that causes me to give a 3 score overall. Still, I would be consider to return. They do sell beer here.

    Lots of fries. Great burgers

Went there last weekend. We arrived early to avoid the normal lines. This is a very neat place that has been around for a while. It is very hard to park but everything else is top shelf. The staff if friendly and also efficient. The counter service is quick and food is fast. The burger are well made and as hot and fresh as you could want. My son and I shared an order of fries and had ton left over. They were great but way more than we needed to eat. The restaurant has lots of throw back pictures on the wall to the ambiance is perfect. Can't wait to come back.

My family found ourselves in Austin, TX in January 2026 over MLK weekend. We got some recommendations from a friend who knows good food, and one of those was Jewboy Burger. The name threw me off at first, but after seeing the Yelp reviews, we got excited and decided to give it a try. Since it was our first time, we decided to order some standard items including the Jewboy Burger, Yenta, fries and tater tots. Boy, it was good food. It's not the cheapest burger joint, but it's also not priced at the gourmet level though the taste was outstanding. We arrived for a late lunch on a Sunday around 1:30 pm. We found street parking nearby - no issue there. We got pretty lucky though. The line in front of us was just a handful of people deep, but after we ordered, 20 more people showed up within minutes and the line was out the door. The ambiance was cool. Decently clean for a burger joint. We found a table for 4 easily, and there were lots of outdoor seating options as well though it was a bit chilly outside for that. Food, again, was spectacular. I am thoroughly convinced that 80/20 is the best patty fora perfect burger. And lastly, service was fine - nothing interesting here to mention. All in all, if you can get past the interesting name of the burger joint, if you're in the area and you want a good burger, this is one of the best in Austin. Enjoy!

If you're craving a great mouth watering burger this is the SPOT!! I stopped here when on my way out of Austin. when I tell this had to be the best burger I've had in a long time it most certainly was! I got your basic JewBoy burger with cheese and jalapeños. Along side tots that blew sonics out the water! This burger melted in my mouth. Not a big fan of onions but the way this patty was prepped with onions mixed in the patty it had me second guess my pickiness. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was full of vibes.

This place is absolutely fan-effing-tastic! Everything on the menu is excellent! Oh, and big. Bring your appetite and grab some extra napkins for these great burgers!

Saw this place on an Instagram reel I think. Added it to my list. So glad I did! Service was friendly and fast. Tots were a great portion and super crunchy. Loved the spicy ketchup. I got the goyim burger, sub American cheese (the only acceptable burger cheese imo). So freaking good. The bottom bun of the burger sopped up all its juices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Bacon was thick. Pastrami was salty and delicious. I love sour, so the combo of pickles and mustard was *chef's kiss*

    baoni L.

Both the signature JewBoy burger and the spicy oy vay burger are solid. Fries are ok. Service you order your own food. Pretty chill burger place has indoor and outdoor seatings. Will be back to try other items in the future.

I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level. The fries were exactly how I like them: thick-cut, tender, not overly crunchy or crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was spot-on.
