The staff was great. The location was a very cool concept of shared space with other food, bars, and overall event space. There was a live DJ the night I went which brought the whole vibe up. The pizza smelled delicious, but was overall just good. Considering the location and being open late I imagine it's a drunk food kind of spot.

My family and I went to this location to try something different since we were in the area and I originally came here for event about a year ago. It's located inside The Churchill surrounding by other restaurants for burgers, teriyaki chicken, desert place & bars. We were surprised a lot of people were their because it's very hot considering it's an indoor outdoor place, but since it's in Arizona, it is extremely hot in the summer months even though with the sprinters we're on high up which were up super high, so I will highly suggest to come during the fall and not summer months . We order the meat freak & ,create your own pizza w/ barbecue sauce, chicken, mozzarella, and mushrooms. Our total for 2 pizza's were $33; drinks & ranch costs extra. Our order was ready in about 15 minutes so we food a table. The pizza ranges anywhere from $12 and up depending on what you get and if you do a create your own or not. Overall, we did enjoy our pizza. It would be nice if they were just a little bit bigger due to the price and if you have a family of three or more.

Freak Brothers has solid vegan options--I got the vegan pesto pizza, added Abbots vegan chicken, which is rare and impressive! Their source of ingredients is on point! That said, the pizza itself felt so bland which I was bummed because I had barely anything all day as I headed here for a vegan event at the Churchill. Open to trying again, but not in a rush to come back. Vegan Pizza shouldn't be meh. Three stars for thoughtful ingredients, but it just didn't hit. 061425

I came to the food hall here with some friends and wanted some carbs before I was running in the morning. I opted for the pizza place which was super easy to get in line and order and not too busy. I got the margarita pizza with ranch. The pizza was yummy but it was a little bland for my taste and the ranch wasn't my favorite either but overall I thought it was good.

Freak Brothers Pizza(FBP) is located inside The Churchill. The Churchill is a really cool "food court" without the corporate chains. I recently found out that the tenants of the Churchill also have to contribute to the community as part of their "rent". Freak Brothers Pizza will scratch the itch for traditional pizza, gluten-free pizza, vegan pizza or whatever combination you like! They have a great set up that will feed you regardless of restrictions! You place your order in-person or online and you'll receive a text once it is ready. FBP also offer delivery with the different gig-delivery drivers. I also noticed they also cater events. You can select one of their already curated pizzas or "build-your-own freak-za". FBP also offers hummus with pitas along with desserts. We really enjoy this downtown adjacent pizza joint!!! The best part of coming to the Churchill is that you can relive your pre-teen/teen days and go to a "food court" where you're able to mix and match different foods based on your groups likes, not to mention have an adult beverage!!! You can also make this the last stop to whoever is catching a flight. They have shops with tchotchkes that you can buy for you're awaiting love ones at home!

Went to church hill to check out the restaurants went to stoop kid saw this place look good watch the guy making pizza look good so got a cheese pizza unfortunately it was disappointing the dough tasted like flour had no fermented to it the sauce was ok just tasted like tomato cheese was fine I think if they let it set for a few days cook it longer it would be a lot better not sure if I would get it agian

Quick service food is good everything I come to church hill this is my go too good for the price it's like going to mod pizza or those fast pizza chains I can't complain the seating area is in side the church hill so you can grab a drink chill and eat

Amazing light tasting dough. It really is the highlight of these delicious pies. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. I dare you to ask Zach for a Buffalo BBQ Pizza with out Buffalo sauce. lol it's an inside joke. But it would be great to start this trend. Point being is the young staff are outgoing fun people. They know how to take a joke. All jokes aside they are courteous and quick to crank out pies until closing. They have a take out window and vegan options at no extra cost. They close at 9pm so don't be that customer ordering at the last minute. Because it does take about 15 mins to cook a pie. Love the venue as you can chill and have a cocktail (from the 2 bars inside the Churchill) while you wait. Good times!

I'm never disappointed when I order pizza here! The best vegan pie you'll get in Phoenix. Delicious!

How is this possible? And the reports kept coming. Bronx native Chris Bianco had done the impossible, expanding authentic pizzas beyond the Mississippi River. The accolades and awards were endless, the critics raved, and even documentaries were produced. So we all started putting this place on our bucket list. I finally made the pilgrimage in 2026 to this mecca, this icon, this uber-famous destination. And it was worth the hype! The most beautiful red sauce complements the perfectly stretchy fresh mozzarella. Since I opted for the Sonny Boy, I was treated to high quality slices of salami and whole olives. The crust is thin, charred in various spots, slightly crispy on the bottom but still properly chewy. It is a thing to behold, ranking right up there with the best pizzas I've had in Italy and the states! I wish the olives were halved and not whole so they wouldn't roll off my pizza. But I didn't care. I even violated my germaphobic code for the first time in decades and snatched an olive off the table, it was that good! Because of its location inside Heritage and Science Park, there is a mandatory $10 parking charge for valeting plus a recommended tip. There is no validating inside the restaurant. But the surprise surcharge was also worth it!

The patio entrance is especially charming, and the entire property feels intimate and welcoming. It's easy to see why this family-owned establishment has remained a beloved Phoenix favorite for so many years. We started our evening with the calamari, which was outstanding. Unlike traditional calamari preparations, this version was bursting with flavor, featuring plenty of fresh garlic, parsley, and a pleasant spicy kick that elevated the dish without overwhelming it. It was the perfect way to begin the meal. For drinks, I enjoyed a refreshing Hugo Spritz along with an Italian beer, both of which paired wonderfully with the food and complemented the relaxed atmosphere. Our main course was the Diavola pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. I customized it by adding balsamic glaze and onions, which added the perfect balance of sweetness and depth to the spicy flavors of the pizza. I also appreciated the ability to customize toppings to create exactly what I was craving. The pizza itself was beautifully prepared with fresh ingredients and excellent flavor throughout. What truly stood out was the hospitality. One of the owner's sons regularly checked on guests throughout the evening, making sure everyone was enjoying their experience. That level of genuine attentiveness and family involvement adds a personal touch that is increasingly rare and makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. Whether you're looking for a casual evening out, a romantic date night, or simply a memorable meal in a unique setting, Cibo delivers. The combination of exceptional food, welcoming service, and the charm of its historic home atmosphere makes it a place I'll gladly return to again and again.

The girl at the register seemed very knowledgeable about all the pizzas and gave us lots of details and recommendations which we appreciated. First we got the green, di Parma, and the Phoenix. The green has pistachios and fresh arugula on it, I thought the overall flavor was too sweet and the pistachios weren't crush enough. The Phoenix was good, very honey forward and overall the flavor didn't stick out to me. The di Parma was a cheese pizza with procuttio and ricotta, overall a little plain to me. I think they all would've tasted better hot, but I understand that's not super realistic for a slice shop. For our second order we got the vodka sauce slice, which was for sure my favorite. First of all it was piping hot, and that elevated the whole experience. I thought the sauce was so flavorful and savory, and the basil made a perfect bite. I would go back for a whole pie of this! I really liked the prices here, we got dinner for less than $25 for 2. I wouldn't mind coming back to try some other slices and get a pie of the vodka!
