At the Churchill for an event and this was the only place that had vegan options. Ordered the build your own with vegan pesto, vegan mozzarella, and vegan pepperoni, and it was ready pretty quickly. A little annoyed by the price of the small coke bottle (3.50), and super irritated to walk up to the window to pick up my order and see one of the employees making a pizza with NO GLOVES on. My family and I went to this location to try something different since we were in the area and I originally came here for event about a year ago. I recently found out that the tenants of the Churchill also have to contribute to the community as part of their "rent". Freak Brothers Pizza will scratch the itch for traditional pizza, gluten-free pizza, vegan pizza or whatever combination you like! They have a great set up that will feed you regardless of restrictions! You place your order in-person or online and you'll receive a text once it is ready. FBP also offer delivery with the different gig-delivery drivers. I also noticed they also cater events. You can select one of their already curated pizzas or "build-your-own freak-za". FBP also offers hummus with pitas along with desserts. We really enjoy this downtown adjacent pizza joint!!! I dare you to ask Zach for a Buffalo BBQ Pizza with out Buffalo sauce. lol it's an inside joke. But it would be great to start this trend. Point being is the young staff are outgoing fun people. It cost about $40 with tip and delivery. We just ordered a pepperoni pizza and Coke. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the restaurant sent Mexican Coke with the pizza. Apparently, restaurants serving Mexican Coke is common on the West Coast, but in Chicago, it's not. Usually, you only get Mexican Coke if you're actually in a Mexican community. The pizza was pretty good. It was a little salty, but otherwise fairly tasty. The portion size was good, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, at the end of the day, the food was delicious, the pizza was nice and crispy, warm, and all the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling so I had leftovers, so I didn't mind paying a little extra.
