At the Churchill for an event and this was the only place that had vegan options. Ordered the build your own with vegan pesto, vegan mozzarella, and vegan pepperoni, and it was ready pretty quickly. A little annoyed by the price of the small coke bottle (3.50), and super irritated to walk up to the window to pick up my order and see one of the employees making a pizza with NO GLOVES on. We were surprised a lot of people were their because it's very hot considering it's an indoor outdoor place, but since it's in Arizona, it is extremely hot in the summer months even though with the sprinters we're on high up which were up super high, so I will highly suggest to come during the fall and not summer months . We order the meat freak & ,create your own pizza w/ barbecue sauce, chicken, mozzarella, and mushrooms. Our total for 2 pizza's were $33; drinks & ranch costs extra. Our order was ready in about 15 minutes so we food a table. The pizza ranges anywhere from $12 and up depending on what you get and if you do a create your own or not. Freak Brothers is be doing something right with the multiple years they've been open at The Churchill. We don't have a lot of options inside but they seem to always be open. Super nice people working the counter anytime I've been by, and the pizzas don't take horribly long to bake. What I really enjoy is they don't up charge for non-traditional things like dairy-free cheese, gluten-free dough, etc. I really love pizza, but my stomach doesn't really love cheese anymore. ::whomp whomp:: It's nice to get a good pizza without the uncomfy side-effects. Freak Brothers Pizza will scratch the itch for traditional pizza, gluten-free pizza, vegan pizza or whatever combination you like! They have a great set up that will feed you regardless of restrictions! You place your order in-person or online and you'll receive a text once it is ready. FBP also offer delivery with the different gig-delivery drivers. I also noticed they also cater events. You can select one of their already curated pizzas or "build-your-own freak-za". FBP also offers hummus with pitas along with desserts. We really enjoy this downtown adjacent pizza joint!!! The best part of coming to the Churchill is that you can relive your pre-teen/teen days and go to a "food court" where you're able to mix and match different foods based on your groups likes, not to mention have an adult beverage!!! Amazing light tasting dough. It really is the highlight of these delicious pies. The ingredients are high quality and fresh. I dare you to ask Zach for a Buffalo BBQ Pizza with out Buffalo sauce. lol it's an inside joke. But it would be great to start this trend. Point being is the young staff are outgoing fun people. During a recent visit to Phoenix, we ended ordering pizza because I had a headache and we decided to stay in for the night rather than going out. We'd been by The Churchill earlier in the day and seen Freak Brothers, so we decided to give it a try. We were staying in an Airbnb nearby, so we ordered the pizza via UberEats. It cost about $40 with tip and delivery. We just ordered a pepperoni pizza and Coke. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the restaurant sent Mexican Coke with the pizza. Apparently, restaurants serving Mexican Coke is common on the West Coast, but in Chicago, it's not. Usually, you only get Mexican Coke if you're actually in a Mexican community. The pizza was pretty good. It was a little salty, but otherwise fairly tasty. The portion size was good, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, at the end of the day, the food was delicious, the pizza was nice and crispy, warm, and all the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling so I had leftovers, so I didn't mind paying a little extra.
