Went to The Churchill with friends and saw this place. First off, I'm so thankful they had vegan options!! It's usually hard to find a place with vegan options especially pizza places, but not here! Popping tomatoes and basil. Can't complain. My favorite was the chicken and jalapeño which also had a swirl of Sriracha. My mouth was on fire and the slice was intensified after scorching my tongue from scarfing the first slice practically out of the oven. Spice is definitely hotter than standard "hot" it's very much appreciated. The spinach artichoke was a little lacking in the artichokes, the miabella was definitely interesting and not for everyone. I like kale and slice almonds but I don't like olives. I took a bite and actually didn't mind and had seconds. The balsamic swirl added a nice sweetness. Had the wonderful experience of ordering from here because my family wanted some pizza but didn't want plain dominos. Was so surprised when we saw they had so many vegan options. My husband built his own pizza and loaded up on all of their fun vegan meats. They had pepperoni, sausage and chorizo. My little boys were able to customize theirs because they don't like a lot of veggies and I am trying to cut back on all of our cholesterol and they ended up loving their vegan pepperoni. As for me, I got the marg pizza and the tomatoes and basil tasted so fresh. They must hire amazing staff that love their jobs and are hopefully paid well. I went at noon on Saturday (7/6) and the individual working was the nicest person I had ever met. I wish I got their name - but they deserve a shout out!! So friendly and kind. Ordered online which was super easy and quick then drove down to pick it up. Super easy pick up at the window and we were on our way back home. The biggest issue I had was not being able to eat it right away. The pizza filled the car with aromas that made my mouth water. I could not get home quick enough. First things first. The pizza is PHENOMENAL. Regardless of sauce, style or ingredients, every pizza is well crafted, balanced and cooked to perfection. I recently had Freak Brothers cater my wedding, and in addition to the food being absolutely delicious, the team of employees led by the owner, Nathan, were just as exceptional as their product. They arrived early, were entirely self contained, needed no help or direction and really went above and beyond in every regard -- which meant both myself and my husband had no need to stress, worry or even think about the food other than when we were eating it (I definitely thought about it long after I was done though!). They were also able to accommodate any dietary restrictions from our guests, whether that be vegan, gluten free or both. (And their DF/GF pizzas are actually good!) As far as hiring caterers go, this was by far the easiest and most pleasant experience I have ever had. In addition to being perfectly professional at the actual event, the owner Nathan encouraged my husband and I to design custom pizzas for our wedding, and we were all able to get together beforehand to hash out ideas and experiment and taste our creations before we decided on any final products. If you're thinking of hiring Freak Brothers for any catering event, I HIGHLY recommend designing some of your own pizzas. It's a great way to make your event unique, and it's something that the creative minds at Freak Bros do genuinely enjoy (or so they tell us). All in all, we truly wish we could give Freak Brothers more than five stars, as this place really does deserve it.
