The staff is incredibly friendly, and the instructors are top-notch. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer, they make you feel comfortable and confident from day one. The studio itself is gorgeous - clean, spacious, and well-maintained. I took a few private lessons and group classes, and I really appreciated how personalized the instruction was. My instructor was patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. They truly cater to your individual goals and progress at your own pace, which I loved. Marcus is the best! My fiancé and I were looking for a place to take some lessons to feel more confident during our first dance at our wedding. Marcus was so encouraging, funny, patient, and helpful. When we went in for lessons it felt like we were visiting a friend and it was a chance to turn off the stress of the wedding planning and just have some fun as a couple. My girlfriend and I have danced here a few times and every time it has been a blast! I'm not the best dancer but the instructors are all very patient and talented teachers who really explain everything in a way that makes sense to a beginner like me. I definitely enjoy the group classes and it's great for people just wanting to check the place out and see what this studio is like. I recommend the Friday night beginner class at 6:45, then of course the dance party afterwards is always a good time! If you're on the fence just come on a Friday night and then you'll be hooked! read more

I have loved ballroom dance for a long time, but was only able to take lessons off and on for the last few years. A friend of mine dances at the Fred Astaire in San Diego and loves it. I have been taking dance lessons with Mr. Marcus Tener for several years now, Marcus is a fantastic teacher, awesome person and a phenomenal dancer, his skills are exceptional and instructions are clear. My fiancé and I loved our lessons here. Owner Marcus is patient with beginners yet a fabulous dancer himself, a very good combination. Our lessons with Seth were always helpful and we were able to implement our new steps at the Friday night dance party, for which Marcus's wife laid out numerous yummy pastries. We had to leave Dana Point but I hope we're back next year for more dance lessons like these. read more
