Now, if anyone had read my review, they know for a fact that it was meant for this business because it had mention the owner Donny at least 2-3 times. You could have sent me a message asking me nicely to remove my review. You could have said something along the line of, "since 2014, we have train our employees and improve our customer relation yaddy yaddy yaa. Would you be so kind as to give us a second chance?" Or even ask me nicely to removed my review but no, the business chose to play dirty. Since the business itself wants to be shady and removed all the negative review and only kept the positive one, I will also include a picture of a document I have which show the business address, Donny's signature and the date the document was signed. Original Review from 03/03/2014: I recently complain to my coworker that the guy who does my tax is too expensive so she recommend I try Donny. I decided to give him a try. Originally, I was going to give this business 4 stars but after my second visit I decided to drop it down to 1. Pros: Donny is professional and courteous. Kayla is smart and upbeat. That's it. Cons: Donny seem inexperience when it comes to 1099 (independent contractor). If you have to flip through my 2012 tax file that was prep by my previous CPA and then adjusting what you entered on your screen, it doesnt give me the confidence in your profession. The front staff is unorganized, incompetent, and language barrier. You cannot/should not have a client show up just to tell them to come back in an hour because the gal in charge of health insurance is running late. And what happen when i came back? You told me that 'gal' is running late and should be here soon. After 15 minute: Me: did u call to see where she's at? You: no Me: have you call her at all today? You: no Me: then why did you tell me to come back at noon and then proceed to tell me she's on her way if you haven't made any attempt to call her today? You: let me go ask Donny. And to the lady sitting on my right facing me. I know you're probably the 'manager' or play some important role in this office because the staff talking to me kept making eye contact with you, and only you. Next time if a situation like this occurred, stand up and step in. If you would have taken over to calm things down: A) you could've still kept my business B) this negative review would have never taken place Next year I'm going back to my original CPA. Yes, he charges $55 more than Donny, but unfortunately you get what you pay for.

I have been having my taxes done by Donny Vu for a few years. This year, I finally find out how…read moreincompetent he is. I have a rental building in Colorado and three rental houses in California. He filed my taxes and told me I did not have to pay taxes to Colorado. He then amended my income tax returns and filed me as a full resident of Colorado and I now got a notice from Colorado Dept of Rev indicating the rental income was almost double the actual income; and it's stating that I owe them money and possibly penalties and that he did not file the appropriate form since I was only a partial resident of Colorado. I also received a notice from the IRS stating they cannot process my tax because he did not file form 1095-A to show that I have had medical insurance, hence, my tax return transcript is still not on the IRS website for me to refinance my mortgage. I have been telling Donny's office staff and him that I had to get my taxes done so I could refinance my mortgage since April. Because they don't see people in their office during this Covid time, I emailed my paperwork to them since April 13, and yet it is still not done right. He refuses to take my calls and call me back in a timely manner. I practically have to harass his staff to get to talk to him. His staff kept telling me he has appointments with new clients and would call me back in the evening and then he does not. I had to tell them that he should not take on new clients since he has not and cannot take care of his existing clients. He represented to me that he was a CPA and he is only a tax preparer. I've hired a new real CPA and he told me Donny did not file any depreciation on my 4 rental properties and several other deductions. This guy is a fraud and I think he has a one size fits all policy; he is sloppy and careless and does not take time and do the appropriate things in preparing tax returns for people. I have had to pay my taxes double to California and Colorado and now have to wait to get my refunds. Not a lot of people can do that in this day and age of Covid. He has caused me to lose a lot of money not being to refinance my mortgage because I cannot get my tax transcript from the IRS. Don't hire this guy. I'm filing a complaint to the CTEC about him.

I called A-MAX insurance to see if they could find a quote at the rate I was paying before my renewal offer. Not only did Nayeli find me an insurance that was cheaper than my previous insurance before the renewal but she managed to also complete the whole process via text after the initial phone call! I honestly hate being on the phone for a long time as I am very busy especially in the morning. It was extremely convenient.
