Fred Loya insurance will low-ball you til no end. One of their insured drivers ran a red light on left hand turn and as I was coming through the light I hit my brakes didn't really matter right she did it at the last moment so I hit her her fault completely her full total disregard for every safeties and rights to enjoy the road safely she was found 100% at fault. The lowball offer was the compensate me for my vehicle which gave me an actual cash value of a thousand bucks but that's just not the case the vehicle itself is worth $4,500 according to Kelley Blue book and that's the median range for that vehicle 2001 Ford f150 4x4 XLT in my eyes it's in good condition they said it was in fair condition just by looking at some pictures claiming that they went and inspected it yet the address they gave me for physical address and where the vehicle is located is 1600 miles away and the vehicle is here in California not in Arkansas. According to California law if there's an accident in California and you're not at fault doesn't matter who's at fault but when doing valuation devaluation or actual cash value or replacement value it has to be done here in this state not the state the vehicle was originally from or where they're from the insurance company is from it has to be done here on the local economic market so I did to Kelley Blue book valuations of it found about 10 comparables to show that their offer is too low so I refused their offer and a week later they still send me a check now for only $500 and telling me I can keep the vehicle I've got my attorney on this but he doesn't seem to be doing much about it and now I am going to not cash that check. I'm going to call the department of insurance here in California and file a complaint and then I'm going to call the Texas department of insurance and file a complaint and then I'm going to call the national department of insurance and file a complaint because not only did they give me a little ball offer they didn't do their evaluation in the state and they lied on the paperwork they gave me stating that they came out visually inspected the vehicle which is totally impossible because the vehicle is here in California not at the address they put down for Arkansas the other thing is they said they found three like vehicles just like mine same year make model trims a little different but that doesn't really matter but the important thing here is each one of those was only $500 two of the vehicles the mileage was within 100 miles of each other which was within about a hundred miles of mine and the third one was about 5,000 miles off now if you look up on Google and ask Google what the odds are of two vehicles being within 100 miles of each other on the odometer it's astronomically totally against it for the most part it's it's a finite number it's plausible but not necessary necessarily impossible but the odds of that happening are Solo and then you add my vehicle to it now it's three vehicles exactly the same mileage the odds are just so astronomically against it you see where I'm going with this personally I think they're committing fraud well when they lie on a report and they get it from somewhere else and they try to submit it that is basically fraud so anyways I'm going to see a punitive damage is going to be brought against them for that and their client I don't I really have no empathy for her she ran a red light intentionally wanting me willfully and deliriously just disregarding everybody's rights and safety and it's caused me undue hardship medical issues now that I didn't have before as well as she lied to police scene I was traveling to the high rate of speed and I was the one that ran the stoplight of course luckily for me there was about a dozen witnesses there and they all contradicted that told the police that she in fact ran the red light intentionally and unfortunately I was going to the intersection at the same time along with everybody else behind me and I happen to be on a hit her but 100% her fault just the mere fact that she lied at the scene of the accident then the police went to follow up with her at the hospital I'm guessing they probably gave her a drug and alcohol test and then they asked you the same thing again what will happen stuck with her story said that I ran the red light that I was traveling at a high rate of speed but you know not only is she a crappy person but she told her son to lie to the police as well cuz he gave him the same story he was traveling at a high rate of speed and ran the red light now honestly and 11 year old kid is not going to say he was traveling at a high rate of speed he would say he w read more

I have been a loyal customer who has never missed a payment and the first time I'm in an accident, which I was not at fault for which they agreed. They have fault tooth and nail to fix the absolute bare minimum for my car. The driver who hit me was uninsured so I paid my deductible so they've taken more money out of my pocket and they have been doing nothing except fighting with myself and the repair shop continuing to halt them from finishing my car. I was hit by a person that has Fred Loya insurance. My damages are approximately $5000. I contacted Loya. What follows is a summary of my experience with this corrupt company. First, they asked me a lot of questions unrelated to the incident and very personal information, like my social security number. I refused to give them this information. Then they sent me to multiple people, who all asked me the same information. It is illegal for an insurance company in California to ask you the same information multiple times. I went to one of the top auto body shops in Sacramento and got an estimate for $4500 plus rental car costs of about $250. I offered Loya adjuster Monica Pena to give her the estimate. She did not accept it. She gave me an estimate from Loya and a check for $700. The auto body shop laughed when they saw how terrible the estimate was and the shop told me Loya is an awful insurance company that tries to pay very low amounts for claims. I did some research online and found a lot of terrible stories about Loya from people. In California, it is illegal for an insurance company to offer a very low amount to pay off a claim. I went back to Loya and after dealing with their incompetent staff and numerous false statements about things (all of which is audio-recorded) they paid out an additional $1500. Still about $2500 short of my damages. I contacted the California Department of Insurance and they told me to file a complaint with them against Loya. I went back to Loya and explained to them that what they are doing is illegal. Marylou Sanchez in the Supplemental department at Loya stated to me that she agrees with the estimate from my body shop but that she was instructed to write an estimate for a much lower amount (this is audio-recorded). My understanding is that this is an illegal estimate. Sanchez told me to communicate with team lead Ricardo Alaniz. I contacted him and this guy had no clue what the situation was. Loya is a disaster. You have to explain everything over and over to new people as they send you around in circles. I imagine this is intentional so that people give up and don't persist with Loya to get their claims fully paid. The incompetent liar Ricardo Alaniz then said he was going to cancel the $1500 payment to me. I called him out on this and said I would include it in my complaint to the Department of Insurance, and he got very quiet. I imagine he knew he got caught. A few days later, Ricardo contacted me and said that he did not cancel the $1500 but that Loya would not currently pay any more of my damages. So, I contacted the person that hit my car and told them that Loya won't pay the full claim, which is illegal, and that I won't deal with Loya anymore. I told the person that hit me that they have to pay the remaining $2500 or I will have to sue them. According to California law, ultimately, the person that hit me is responsible for my damages. Loya is her insurance company and she needs to deal with Loya to pay my full damages. I have no obligation to deal with Loya. If Loya does not pay my damages for her, then she can sue Loya for failing to insure her. She said that she will talk to Loya. I told her I need to get fully paid soon or I have to sue her, unfortunately. I told Loya that I am going to sue their customer and Loya does not care. What a terrible company. They are ripping me off and they are ripping off their customer. The customer pays premiums to Loya for insurance and now Loya won't insure her, like they are supposed to! I encouraged her to file a complaint with the Department of Insurance and to talk to an attorney about sueing Fred Loya. I imagine she will come up with the money to pay me but then she will have to deal with Loya to get reimbursed. Very sad. So, if you have Loya insurance, you should cancel and get a different insurance company.
