My husband and I went to our North Highlands H&R Block on Elkhorn Blvd in CA. We arrived a bit…read moreearly and the preparer was ready, great! I like that. My issue...be patient there are a few 1- She did not go over the cost of the preparation before she started our return. 2- She never verified who we were. She did not ask for ID???? I told her in the beginning that we were there for the first time, just married and wanted to also claim an energy credit as we bought a new Heat and A/C unit. She completed the return without the credit. I told her again and she looked at me like she had no idea what the energy credit was. I was specific when I told her we qualified for a $300 credit. She entered something somewhere and then looked at us saying we only get a $150 credit. I told her no, we get $300, I researched it already. She had to ask me where to fill in the info for the credit Really????? In addition to that, she has an accent and spoke very softly. I had to literally lean halfway over the desk and ask her what she said NUMEROUS times. This is not good service as I expect from H&R Block. In addition to all of the fees that were stockpiling on us. I should have gone with my instinct and ask for someone that spoke Fluent English. These are my taxes not a purchase st the local supermarket. I need to understand what she was saying. She really did not seem to have any confidence and her name tag stated she was a Senior Consultant. Another reason I will never return to you again. If that is whom you put your faith into I really have to question your company. Additional note, I was asked for feedback by H&R Block, I posted this same review and they have rejected my review to be on thier website. Looks like they have an issue if anyone does not say nice things about them. Oh well, that is why I am coming to Yelp to get this out there.
