Located on the main street of Wenatchee, Wenatchee Natural Foods offers organic, sustainable items, with lots of locally made products. It's not the largest grocer, but the selection was fantastic. We were able to get some grocery items here during our weekend trip and also tried the items that they prepare at the cafe area towards the back of the store. At the cafe area, they have a large menu of different drinks, with smoothies that are worth checking out. I loved the chocolate smoothie, which they make with almond butter and vanilla whey, so it's naturally sweetened. I also ordered a bowl, which you can make based on the different ingredients they offer, like a base of rice or beans, with different proteins and veggies. I customized my bowl with rice, curry chickpeas, avocado and steak and seasonal veggies and it served as two meals, which was delicious. For those wanting to dine in, they have a seating area on the side of the store, with outdoor seating where it's dog-friendly. It's a win for Wenatchee to have a store like Wenatchee Natural Foods, offering a great selection of healthy, wholesome items in a community-centric setting. Who knew you shouldn't gatch them with your bear arms? The farmers had a sink we could use but that wasn't good enough, and we'd already checked out of our hostel, but luckily it was a shared bathroom with clean showers, so I came to Walmart to buy towels so Mom and I could sneak back in to the hostel and clean the fuzz off. Walmart had a set of two thin pool towels for $6 and which was priced right for me. We also got a bar of soap, which you'd be surprised to learn they don't have a lot of (I guess everyone does body wash instead)? Using the app I found the towels easily and it was a quick in an out, which I really appreciated. The Walmart was gigantic, which I guess most are. The only reason why I gave it 3 stars is because it's a Walmart and there's nothing special about that.
