This review is solely for the floral department - I had not one but two bad experiences with the same lady two days in a row. The first day I dismissed her scattered and rude attitude thinking maybe she was just having a bad day. However, both interactions I was treated like an inconvenience and annoyance when placing an order for two balloon bouquets. There were no other customers around either day and prior to me walking up to the counter she was just standing there absently. I showed up about 20 minutes early the following day to pick them up and she was extremely rude insisting I said I would be there later (which is true, but again, I was only 20 minutes early and no one else was around). I didn't mind waiting for them to be complete and even expressed that. The attitude she gave me was completely unnecessary and surprising as most Fred Meyer employees are great. It's worth the drive for me to visit another Fred Meyer or florist for future needs...I don't plan on going back. read more

I'm so glad I made the change to the Rite Aid pharmacy on 132nd. Their lines move at very reasonable speeds, both inside and in the drive-thru. There's been only 1 hiccup where I called a prescription in in the morning and was told that it'll be ready at 2pm. I went to pick it up at 3:30pm just to be safe and was told that it's not ready and won't be for another 45-60 minutes. I was a bit frustrated by the wait and the techs took notice and made the effort to get it to me sooner which I really appreciate. I can't say I'd have the same great customer service in response to my poor response to the wait times. That taught me, however, to always wait for a text telling me that my Rx is ready, regardless of what the pharmacy tells me. Something that I *love* with Rite Aid is that, in addition to texting when my Rx's are ready, they also text me when my Rx is due to be refilled. Coincidentally, I went to take my Rx yesterday and noticed that I only have about a week's worth left and made a mental note. Less than 2 hours later, Rite Aid text me in the morning when the store opened to notify me that my Rx is due for a refill. Super convenient! Case and point, ditch this Fred Meyer pharmacy. There are far better pharmacies out there! Docked them another star because Rite Aid proved my concerns right. Pharmacies should not suck this bad. read more

this Freddie's is the closest one to where I live. I'm here at least once a week. It's a Fred Meyer, so I don't think listing what they offer will help much, but I can say that the staff has always been friendly, I've never had to look more than 1 aisle away to find an employee to help me(regardless of the department), and they don't treat me like a schmuck when I use tons of coupons. They've recently updated their floral department, and it's better than I would have expected. The guys in produce really go the extra mile, they will cut you pieces of fruit if you want to sample them and love giving suggestions. read more

I was in the express line and the lady was clipping her nails on the side while the elderly man was swiping his card. I was kind of grossed out. Luckily she didn't stick a foot on the counter and dug deep with her toenails. Other than that experience, I know prices vary between Albertsons, Safeway, and even Winco. Love the grocery/ pet department. But the thing that urks me most is the pharmacy. A week ago I came in around 8:52PM, right after visiting the emergency room. I was well aware I had time to pick up my medication quickly. The technician was sweet and told me the pharmacist would be with me shortly. I took a seat and waited 6 minutes, only to be yelled at "your prescription is ready let's go!". Look, I understand the store closes soon but I think your professionalism is flawed. This place is becoming such a joke. I love shopping here because they have a good grocery and merchandise selection but, I'm starting to think I might go elsewhere. They have staff trying to sell their credit card the second you walk in the store (which is fine, it's a good business tact) but, they don't tell you up front it's a credit card. All they do is go on about how good the reward program is and don't mention the credit card part until they conveniently need your social security number. So annoying and down right sleazy. It effects your credit to pull that information, and they need to be up front with that and not pressure you. Credit is a very personal thing now days. Now on top of the Direct TV sales people, they have people peddling their window repair information while you're getting gas. Seriously?! I'm coming to FRED MEYER to get gas, not to have someone try to tell me I need to pay them money so they can fix my windshield. Yup, got it, I have a chip. When I'm ready to come fix it I will seek out your business. I have decided to stop shopping here due to their obvious and overt practice of viewing each customer as though they are a there to commit a crime as opposed to just shopping for merchandise. I have been shopping here for several years but during the last two trips I have been harassed by their staff who obviously think I am there to shoplift. I have been followed by staff who make it a point to ask me "how I'm doing" in a very unfriendly tone while they survey what's in my shopping cart and have been stared at suspiciously by shelf stockers as I go by. This may sound paranoid to most readers but if you have ever been harassed for "shopping while black" you'll understand immediately what I'm referring to. I have never shoplifted and don't intend to be treated as if I do by anyone or any establishment. There are plenty of stores that carry similar wares like WinCo, Target and WalMart who are fully able to treat their customers in a friendly manner while at the same time keeping a handle on their loss management issues. I would give 0 stars if possible. I recently moved to the area and have always loved Fred Meyer. They have high quality food for the best prices. I worked at a very expensive co-op for 3 years and Fred Meyers uses some of the same vendors and sells the food for much cheaper. The first time I walked into this Fred Meyer I used the self checkout. There were several people using the stands and the worker stood directly behind me, it was very uncomfortable. I am a bi racial pregnant professional and went at lunch time. I wrote this experiment off at first. I have experienced this treatment at this location several times. My experience includes cashiers glaring, throwing my items in bags carelessly, throwing items in my cart and not putting all of my items into my cart. I have seen the same cashiers treat white shoppers differently in the lines. My brother went last night and he had the same experience in self checkout. A worker stood directly behind him, he is not as nice as I am and asked the man why is he standing behind him. He was the the middle as the worker stood with his back to others checking out. My co worker who is a black women has told me she has experienced a particular cashier throwing items into her cart. There is obvious discrimination of black consumers at this location. I refuse to shop at Fred Meyer from here on and will be sharing these experiences with the corporate office. Management is obviously facilitating this behavior as to many of the workers are involved. read more

It's right up the road from my home so it's become our go-to store. The wife signed up for their rewards credit card a while back and the double fuel points have been totally worth it. It is, as they say, the one stop shop for the most part. Need a tool to work on the car? Freddy's. Out of milk? Freddy's. Time to replace those old work shirts? Freddy's. They've also got a decent electronics section, home repair section, and bed and bath section. In one trip you can come home with new pants, a window fan, a C-clamp, an oil filter for your car, a loaf of bread, and a booster pack of Magic cards. I do have to concur with the other yelpers that the salespeople at the entrances can be a bit obnoxious, but a simple "no thanks" or just not making eye contact can suffice. They can get badgery at times, true, but they're just doing their jobs since they have bills to pay too. A week or so ago I was half way out the exit when a Direct TV salesman asked if I was interested in Direct TV. I kept walking and said "no" which he followed up with "why not?" so I turned a bit and replied "because Hulu is free" and the look on his face.. I felt like I had just kicked a puppy. ...but this isn't a review of Direct TV, it's a review of the Fred Meyer, and so far -their- staff have been nothing but helpful in the time I've been shopping at this location. I will need to agree with Michelle S. I used to only shop at Freddies until the remodel. Change is often difficult, but I am (kind of) used to it now. However, since the remodel, the music is HORRIBLE and WAY TOO LOUD! After my anxiety-inducing shopping trip today (due to the LOUD and ANNOYING) music, I have decided not to shop there anymore. I decided to try grocery shopping at Freddie's last night instead of my usual store, because I'd heard that Freddie's is pretty awesome. Like other Yelp reviews, they say it's a one stop shop. I'm not used to shopping at a store with so many aisles, options, and departments so initially I found it confusing and a bit overwhelming. The layout isn't bad, and the aisles are split in half with different items at different halves of each aisle. I had to do a few return aisle visits since I missed things the first or second go round. The prices were reasonable, though higher on many of the same items I'd purchase at the retailer I normally shop at. Their bulk bins are nice, but much less selection that the usual place I stop. Produce was reasonably priced, but not all of it looked that nice. It is nice that Freddies IS a one stop shop - including childcare! - so maybe when we have a family it'll be more appealing. For now, I'll probably stick with my usual stomping grounds. read more

This location is awesome, staff is always friendly and most of the time they have everything I need! BUT they have a new policy with razors...they are now locked in a case so you have to walk around and find someone in order to get one out. But that is not all, they won't let you have it....the very nice employee apologized to me and said he has to bring it up to customer service and I have to pick it up before I checkout. I totally get the locked cases but i can't even put it in my cart?? And of course after finishing my shopping I completely forgot about the razor and went home. This is in regards to the Fred Meyer Pharmacy at this location- If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. Everything about this pharmacy is horrible, but the service takes the cake. I have had so many difficulties getting my perceptions, it's appalling. I have missed days of taking important medications because the pharmacy never filled it, and when ever I would call to find out the issue, I would get redirected to the head guy, who is a complete jerk, who would blame me for their pharmacy messing up. This would even happen with my insulin, which I need to live. I called three weeks ago to have it filled, and they still haven't filled it. Only reason I am still alive is because I happened to have some extra ones lying around. They are unorganized, irresponsible, and they treat their patients like dirt. If you are considering this pharmacy I would go literally anywhere else. This place is a disaster. read more

This Freddie's has not stepped up to the plate well enough during this Covid-19 crisis. Granted, they have senior hours and markings on the floor. They were slow to protect their employees. They don't seem to enforce a rule that the employees wear masks at all times and/or correctly. They don't seem to be disinfecting carts when shoppers come in like QFC does. Many, many shoppers not wearing masks. If you want to feel unsafe, come here! I needed to go to customer service but the line was longish, not social distancing and the majority of customers were not wearing masks. I agree with other reviewers about the clerks at the self-check kiosks profiling non-white customers. They will stand behind minorities while they're using the self-check register. Other customers in that area could be calling them over for help but they will make them wait until a minority customer is done scanning and paying before going over to help them. Complete opposite from the clerks over at the Thrasher's Corner location who go out of their way to help every customer. A tip for the Murphy's Corner self-check clerks: if the customer is bothering to scan their items to pay and the sensor detects when something is not placed in a bag after scanning, the electronic system lets you know if somebody is trying to shoplift something. You don't need to stand so close behind the non-white customers to be sure they're not stealing. There's a much better chance that somebody is shoplifting in an aisle somewhere in the store, not usually so blatant to do it in front of the clerks at check out. Darn: I had crossed this location off of my shopping stores, but was in the area and really needed elderberry syrup for a sick child at home and they have a good selection in their natural foods area. I was hoping that the discriminatory, loud clerk in the self check area was no longer working at this location but to my dismay, he was. I should have gone right across the street to Sprouts, where they also have a really good selection of elderberry and all of their clerks are friendly and don't yell. Today I just had to review them because they have so many pumpkins that they have restricted the handicapped and regular entrance down to a path. There was a bus unloading senior citizens, due to no fault of their own, the bus was 100% blocking both doors. Which caused customers to wiggle around the sea of pumpkins. BEWARE! The Pharmacy Manager at the store located at 12906 Bothell Everett Hwy, Everett, WA 98208, is dangerous. He thinks he is a doctor and knows better than you what you need and maybe in some duty to twisted fiscal responsibility wants to be sure you pay before he places an order for a PRESCRIPTION. This man wanted to be sure I could pay for my PRESCRIPTION before he processed an order from my actual Doctor. That's right, he received the prescription decided not to order it because the copay was, in his mind, high. He relied on the automatic phone message, which did not come to have me call, to confirm I could pay before I ordered. When I dropped in to check I found out and when I advised him it was his job to fill prescriptions and nothing else he said he would not argue with me, turned his back and walked away. This prescription was not personalized for me it should have been available on a shelf in their fulfillment center. I did complain to the store Director but there is no telling how many times daily this happens to other patients unknowingly forced to reveal if they are able to pay before their order is processed. read more

The store in itself is fine. Spent 25 minutes in the pharmacy drive through window. This has happened on a few different occasions. I push the small blue button to announce someone is out there....nothing for 5 minutes.,,,push it again.... nothing for 5 more minutes... push it again.... nothing... at 20 minutes a lady comes on says she will be with me in a moment... nothing again for 5 minutes so I finally find a parking spot go in and get the meds. Fred Meyer is available for all of your quick stop shop needs. No time to cook dinner? They have already roasted chickens to-go! Forgot about Aunt Margret's birthday party in 3 hours? They have a clothing section and a jewelry section that's worth checking out. Need gift wrap and cards? No worries, they got 'em here! Of course it's also great for just grocery shopping too. The facility is clean, and the produce is fresh. Being away and going to school out of state has definitely made me appreciate a Fred Meyer when I come home - which is something I never thought I'd say before. read more

Good points - good selection in the natural/organic food section. Also good selection in the produce area, and I love how they have berry bowls for fruit salad. I also love the home decor and my family just purchased 2 bedroom dressors there and love them. Bad points - check the expiration dates on items in the natural/organic section. Some items aren't fast sellers and I've seen a number of items that have expiration dates that have almost arrived. There's no point in getting peanut oil to use for cooking in the next year, when it expires in a week. Also, I've gone shopping several times on various days and the much of chicken is sold out. Just need to pick up some chicken breasts? Forget it. When I found someone who worked in the butcher area, I asked about it, and got an indifferent response of 'If we're out, we're out'. No apology or offer to check for anything in back, nothing. This leads me to the customer service. In the vast majority of my interactions, the cashiers and employees act bored and indifferent and customer service is apathetic at best. A number of cashiers don't even smile when you walk up to them. Once I got confused about a sale price and a male manager showed no sympathy at all and blew me off when it looked like he hadn't even researched the price. I had to insist on going back and looking at the display. It would have been one thing if he showed even a slight bit of sympathy about the confusion (the display was very misleading), but the manager made it clear I was wrong and just had to deal with it. There were clearly some cultural issues involved in the way the communication took place and I really felt looked down on because I was a woman standing up to a man. I was so upset by how he treated me that I walked out. No sale. On my way out I complained to another cashier, and she said the manager got frequent complaints. read more

Five Stars for the grocery department. After at least 5 years of using the Mill Creek Fred Meyer's Pharmacy, I am somewhat dissatisfied with their service. Within the past 6 to 12 months, it seems to me that there has been a big drop in their interest in meeting their customer's needs, in my opinion. (The had a wonderful staff & service level there before.) I suspect that a big policy & procedures shift has taken place and that they no longer stock much of anything at the store. The prescriptions, I suspect, are being processed and filled at a remote location and that few individual prescriptions are processed on site. After giving them 4 business days notice, they said that my refill would be late by one day. (I had alert them via the proper automated prompt that that date was not early enough, but it resulted in nothing changing.) The excuse at the counter was that it was because I was the only one with a prescription for that drug. I left that day feeling like I was just told that I wasn't important enough for them to bother getting an expedited delivery and that I just had to wait for the normal delivery some days later. So, today, I went there to pick up my prescription meds and they were there. The price came to $21.xx. I was surprised at that high of an amount and asked if they had run the order through my insurance first and the Pharmacy Tech said that they didn't have a record of any insurance for me. So, I quickly handed the Tech both my Medicare card and my personal secondary insurance card. She very loudly proceeded to give me a lesson on how Medicare does not cover drugs while at the same time she had my other insurance card in her hand. I didn't need a lesson on what Medicare covers, I give both cards to any medical provider so its on record properly. I reminded her that she said that I didn't have any insurance and that I was fully aware of what Medicare covers. Then she was able to determine that the $21.xx was what my insurance left me to pay. There have been other less than wonderful experiences with FM Pharmacy at Mill Creek over the last several months with both my meds and my my wife's meds. My wife wants to stay with FM and I don't. I'm switching my business elsewhere... I'm done... read more

5 stars because of the mac n cheese thats ready to eat next to the deli. My husband banned me from getting mac n cheese when I go shopping here because I ate it so much. I snuck behind his back while he was at work to eat it. For awhile I had myself stuck on Grapefruit and Fred Meyer Mac n Cheese from Fred Meyer. On the serious note, this location is huge. One section has Clothes, Groceries, Baby Section. It's like a Walmart, IMO I think it's better and cleaner and looks nicer. So on those soccer mom weekends (moms) you can take the kiddies with you and do all of ur shopping in one trip !!! read more

The pharmacy staff are dumb fuck who will tell you one thing and when it comes to pick up your prescription they don't have the prescription. I felt the need to write this after several bad experiences here. Dont get me wrong, I love Fred Meyer stores in general, but the Bothell location is repeatedly disappointing. A few months back around 1pm, the deli ran out of mac and cheese... mid day, one would expect they would keep it coming. When I asked if more would be made, the deli gal told me they werent making more til 4pm. When I asked her if she could just make some, got a solid no. Good customer service if you ask me! Today I went down there and had 5 items in hand, went up to an OPEN cashier with no one else in line, only to be told by Calvin the Cashier that he was about to help his friend, who came sauntering up behind me and they proceeded to chit chat for a while about his mom. Honestly I like to come to the store and make it easy, but between these experiences and the remodel which has created havoc in that store, I would rather go across the street to Safeway. Cheapest and best selection of organic produce when it's not farmer's market season. If you're an avid juicer like me, you know how expensive it can be to buy so much organic produce. This Fred Meyers is one of the best. The store is well stocked. Get there early on Sundays they tend get bought out fast . Each dept. has friendly staff. The checkers at the self check are always so nice. Ifyou are on a budget check out the clearance areas in the meat and seafood for great deals. If you are a cheese lover must try the applewood smoke in the fancy cheese dept. not not all stores have this dept. lucky for me this one does. The deli has some tasty bourbon chicken. Take bourbon chicken smoked applewood cheese and bacon this is a great combo for a sandwich. read more
