As I was waiting to enter the building, the man behind me repeatedly pushed his cart into my heels, causing me to bump my cart into the person in front of me. As I was trying to scan my membership, the same man forced his way in front of me again. As I was exiting Costco, the same man decided to yell at me in the parking lot because I cut the line. He said something to extent of "this wouldn't have happened if I didn't cut the line." First of all, I've been to this Costco at 9 am multiple times and have seen folks "cut the line" to get in. As I approached the self-checkout area with only five items, I noticed an associate glance at my cart, change direction, and then proceed to follow me closely to the register. When I turned to ask why, the associate replied that he could help me scan my items--while continuing to focus on the two boxes of sneakers in my cart. I explained that I was fully capable of scanning my own purchases. The way this interaction unfolded felt intrusive and gave me the impression that I was being scrutinized, rather than assisted. It left me questioning whether I was being unfairly targeted as a paying member. I came simply to make a purchase, not to feel policed. I later spoke with a manager, Dominick, who was professional and empathetic. He explained that Costco has been encouraging associates to assist more at self-checkout. While I understand and respect that initiative--particularly for heavy or bulky items--the manner in which this situation occurred came across as forced, aggressive, and unnecessary. I value Costco and have always appreciated the high standards of service and integrity your company is known for. I love this store. It was absolutely clean and tidy, and had a great stock of inventory. The employees are very understanding and sweet. The food looked magnificent with a great stock of chicken, beef and pork. The produce looked fresh and wonderful. The eggs were not high. they were very reasonably priced, and he even stopped by to get one of their Dollar 50 hotdogs and drink. So my overall opinion on this Costco is that they have it all together and I love going there thank you. read more

Lynnwood's Costco is my favorite in Seattle. It has ample parking, is near a mall and other stores, and it's not a nightmare to get out of the parking lot. The Tire Center always has available appointments, often same-day and these people are the best. The problem is, for some reason, all the other staff here carry an extra amount of sass. They like to stop you if you go through the exit side to get to the tire center or food court. The most extreme case was when I didn't know that there was a no-passing-stalled-carts rule and a 1.5mph speed limit and going through the meat section and got called out by a sample server to slow down. It also doesn't have everything that the Shoreline location has. And like others have said, sometimes you have to watch for the expiration dates. read more

Had to come give the staff at this Costco some positive feedback after the experience I had today! There was an item I was desperately searching for that had sold out at many locations. I called Costco Lynnwood and asked if they had it in stock... the person who answered said it showed they had 3 of the item left, but asked if I could give them a minute to go look on the floor and confirm, which I thought was a kind extra step to take. Once learning it was there, I drove to the location and asked for help finding the item, which a staff member kindly walked me to. I next tried to carry the item and found it too heavy, when a different staff member noticed my struggle and offered to grab me a dolly. I go to load the item in my car, and find it won't fit in my trunk, so I proceed to break the box down and unpackage the item into my car, which yet another employee noticed, and came to my rescue with a box cutter to help finish unboxing and loading into my car. There were several other employees I encountered between dollying and checking out, and everyone was exceptionally helpful and kind. In all, I know I was a total helpless pain in the butt today, and every corner I turned, someone at this store went out of their way to provide me with good customer service. Update: 11/14/25 I went in early at 9am on Friday looking to avoid crowds. While I did do that, I encountered two rude workers. One just started talking to someone while leaving their pallets in the middle of the walkway and I accidentally ran into someone trying to get around them. The cashier that was checking me out was rude as well. "Leave that in the cart, we don't need to do this today" God forbid I was trying to rearrange my cart to make it easer. Elderly disabled mother with me, but even though I showed my Costco Card to the older lady checking receipts, they refused to let her in to use the bathroom in the return area, before we officially entered the store to shop. They dont ask fir your card when entering the return area. Very inconsiderate. read more

It's Costco...it's awesome! I'll cop to it, I'm a fan. I've been going to this Costco since they opened. At first I was concerned about crowds and traffic -- and, yes, there are plenty of times when it's crowded and there is a fair amount of traffic in the area. But, it's not as bad as I feared (although it's getting worse). Service has always been good for us. Well, there was the time when they lost our pizza order...but, stuff happens. And, there was the time when some guy ordered something like 40 pizzas on a Friday at dinner time. That tied things up for well over an hour. The guy could have been more thoughtful about it and Costco could have handled it better. But, generally, they handle tons of traffic/food orders with relative grace and often deserve praise for dealing with the pressure calmly. The only reason I didn't give them five stars are (1) their salmon has become very hit and miss (sometimes it's great, other times it's far from fresh and you sometimes can't tell until you get it home), and (2) they stopped selling the polish dogs at the food court. As always, many things are a great value, but you have to watch what you buy -- not everything is a great deal. Overall, very worth while, though. Now that I've sung their praises (as deserved), please don't go there...so, I can continue to find parking and walk the aisles without crowds! :-) read more

I usually enjoy coming to this Costco. The food court hot dogs be bussin and them chocolate chip cookies are huge. Also the staffs like the pharmacy and glasses ppls and check out ppls that have helped me in the past are super kind and helpful! So shouts to them! But with that being said, I've had some negative experiences recently at this location. On more than one occasion, one of the receipt checkers, a lady named Nisha, has made assumptions about me and my family that felt unfair and honestly a bit discriminatory! Last week Nisha accused me of hiding items when she checked my receipt, and this week she thought my uncle's jacket, which was his own, was something he was trying to return when we were just walking minding our own business. So she got mad and told us to go outside. It be really frustrating being treated that way. I did speak with a manager after and he was a very good listener and apologized for the situation! I rlly appreciated that! But I just wanted to write my experience bc I feel this shouldn't be happening in the first place. I really do like this Costco overall and I want to keep coming back! I appreciate all the staffs here who be working hard everyday. I just hope this don't happen often to other ppls so that the customers always feel respected and welcomed here! read more

Pretty great place to buy clothes at reasonable prices! I don't normally shop here as it's quite far, but decided to give it a try when I was in the area. I had been struggling to find leggings with pockets in my size at the Redmond location and had essentially given up on it. So imagine my surprise when I peeked at the sizes at this location and actually found a few that fit!! Don't get me wrong - they only had 2-3 left. It's not like they had a hoard of them. But even just a couple were a couple more than in Redmond, where I had searched multiple times in vain. It was a great surprise to find them, and I'll definitely be back the next time I can't find something in my size at another location! read more

Review for the Tire Center. I showed up on time for an appointment to have my tires rotated and balanced. Walked around the store, around the building and crossed the street to HomeDepot to kill some time. Came back an hour later and saw my car in one of the bays. Thinking they must be finishing up so I walked around the building again, as I came around again I saw a tire tech hooking up the safety chain behind my car....so they haven't even started yet. Walked around some more for another 45 minutes and saw my car parked outside in the parking lot. Waited inside, 15 minutes later no text and no phone call like they said they would when finished , so I went to the tire counter and informed the tire tech that I believe my tire service was done and here to pick up my car. I don't know why Costco's Tire people are always crabby, moody and alway have to project bad attitude. They always seem like they hate their job. Or maybe this guy forgot to take his dose of Midol. Nonetheless again a bad experience at Costco's Tire Center. Have a look at the service checklist, none was mentioned and nothing checked off. I even wonder if they rotated and balanced my tires. I broke my glasses over the weekend and my previous pair was broken as well. I went in to see if I could order a replacement pair and pop in the lens but they no longer carry them. Chip helped order a new pair and told me to come back with my second pair of broken glasses and he would be able to fix them for me. I ended up going back tonight and he fixed them good as new and wrapped up my old lenses just in case if I something happens to my glasses in the future. Thank you! For the longest time I couldn't comprehend paying to shop at a store. The membership never made sense to me, but after finally caving we got a Costco membership. Recently, I found that Costco has been trying to avoid returns. I had trouble returning 3 transactions in the last 2 months, at different warehouses, despite the fact that I pay $65 a year for the privilege of being able to return products, as I expect them to honor their customer satisfaction guaranteed policy. Instead, somehow, they said they were not able to find my transactions and tried to avoid processing the returns. My most recent experience was at Costco Wholesale in Lynnwood, WA. I pay $65 to become a Costco member so I have the benefit of returning products if I want to. Otherwise, why shop there. Recently I have found that their products and groceries are NOT cheaper than other grocery stores like Kroger or Winco, which I shop at for produce and groceries, where you not only pay less, but you don't have to buy huge quantities like you have to at Costco. For example, if I want to buy fish, I might have to pay $40 for a plate of fish, and I am a single person I don't need that much fish, otherwise I have to freeze what I don't consumer right away and I have to pay more upfront. I am sharing my experience so that if you also experience the same, you can do 3 things: One, remind Costco that you pay $65 (or more) annual membership in order to have the privilege of returning items Two, file a complaint with State Attorney General, BBB, etc. Three, publicise your grievances to the media, your social media, and complaints boards or websites, and give a poor review such as on Yelp. read more

So highly confused on why Costco is only 3-3.5 stars. Some people are so critical of the smallest details that they forget that Costco is a fantastic place to buy in bulk, have free samples, cheapest gas around, very gracious return policy, $5 rotisserie chickens, and $1.50 hot dogs WITH a drink? You can't find deals like that anymore. This Costco pretty much is in line with every other Costco. Lots of companies out there forget that the customer is the most important part of their business. Costco didn't change, and they don't change because they know this simple concept. If you keep your customers happy, they'll keep coming back and will continue to buy more. I absolutely love Costco. The customer service at this Costco is absolutely atrocious. The manager was extremely rude and appeared as if she hadn't smiled in years. The employees working in the clothing section on 2/13/25 at 12:30 PM should be ashamed of themselves for standing around gossiping about both customers and fellow employees instead of doing their jobs. When approached, one of the women responded with outright hostility, displaying a complete lack of professionalism. People who treat others with such unwarranted rudeness have no business working in customer service. read more

I live closer to the Everett store but I shop here because I like it better. The parking lot layout is really nice. It's hard to get a bad spot unless the store is really busy. The employees are all nice and quick to check you out. I also appreciate having self checkout. I don't always buy a lot so it's nice that I can check out quickly. Not sure if Meelyn is having a bad day or what but I was VERY unimpressed with her constant eye rolling and small "irritated" talk with her coworkers. Costco currently has two outdoor umbrellas. My husband and I picked up an outdoor umbrella with a SIGN taped that "specified" it was one without LED lights while others had one that read with LED lights. Guess what we got? One with a sign that specified WITHOUT LED lights. Get to the front and when it rings up, SURPRISE, it's one WITH LED lights. Cleo was not the most pleasant when I explained that it was not the one we wanted after we tried to do our part to get the correct one from the beginning. Meelyn was something else though, it was not until I stared at her waiting until she complained about us one more time. Irritating beyond words. Super unprofessional. The only reason I gave it a second star was because two people shouldn't get the pleasure of dropping down the ratings of everyone else we have enjoyed interacting with. read more

I had a face mask cloth on my face. It didn't close at the nose but I had it over my nose and mouth and the front door greeter told me to put it on right. 2 managers later. They understood I was doing the best I could. She shouldn't have said anything and I found out I can have. Medical exemption and they can't say anything to me according to their policy. Or is the ADA that has yet to be suspended. ? One manager asked for my medical disability card. Infuriated me. This is America! We don't do that here! The next manager told me to my face eyeballs that his front greeters go through 18,000X's more trauma then I have ever been through. I was being super kind but I was shaking to the bone. And he went on to tell me people are lying all the time about their disabilities. I explained to him he could never know that. And that is discrimination. He thinks because someone tells him a different story when they come in they must be faking. Here is the deal. Someone with real trauma won't tell you the truth all the time. And it's absolutely NONE of your business! Don't ask! Don't imply they are lying! And do not treat them any differently. Suicide rates are sky high now. Every day! Update: The asian lady optometrist gave me the wrong prescription. One year later, used the prescription she gave me to buy a pair of glasses at Warby Parker. Got headaches and nausea and couldn't even wear them for 5 minutes. Had to write back to Warby to request a return of the glasses due to wrong perception, see a new doctor who GAVE ME MY ORIGINAL PRESCRIPTION as the correct one. Reordered Warby glasses. Whole process took 2 months. Updating because I would hate to see someone else get a WRONG PRESCRIPTION. I know not everyone has great insurance and it sure as hell was inconvenient. Don't go to the Lynnwood Costco Asian lady optometrist UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LESS THAN AND GET A WRONG PRESCRIPTION. Worst experience ever read more

My usual Costco is in Shoreline near 205th/Aurora. My college friend will be happy that I shopped there two days ago, but finally stepped foot in this Lynnwood location close to work. This is a review for the food court area, although this location is much more glossier and bigger than my well worn, ghetto Shoreline site. Originally for lunch, I was craving the yummy hot dog with soda for $1.50. But decided to splurge and try the Turkey Provolone grilled sandwich for $3.99. Wow...very hefty and flavorful! Toasted ciabatta type bun with a creamy pesto mayo, plentiful sliced turkey, melty provolone cheese, tomatoes, and sliced red onion. Better than any fast food or chain, higher quality and content for comparable price. Next time, I will wander the aisles more. But food wise, had something different than the usual hot dog or occasional cheese slice. Perfect for a quick lunch away from work. read more
