The store has really gone down hill, I won't buy meat or fish there, its scary. They've been remodeling for like a month and its ongoing. Hopefully when they are done it will be better. Dirty parking lot and messy store. Don't even think of using the rest rooms nasty. read more

I really dislike this Fred Meyers! There produce SUCK little fruit flies everywhere n dirty as hell! There checkers are horrible with no type of customer service what's so ever. Friendly longtime employees are what makes this store 4 stars. Management rotates often and comes in and tries to shake things up. Yet the longtime employees stick around. Always clean and well maintained, sometimes the bathrooms lack a little to be desired. Prices are good also if on sale. read more

This is regarding the pharmacy. I have a special medication that has to be special ordered the pharmacy has on multiple occasions failed to have medication available for pick up as promised as a result I ran out of medicine. I don't understand how you can leave someone without their medication for days at a time. Thank goodness it's not a life threatening medicine. For heaven's sake what would happen if my life depended on it? read more

The groceries here are expensive. If they want $3 at another Fred Meyer, they want $4 here. It isn't organized very well either. If something in the meat section is on sale, they only put a few on the shelf. Was there waiting at customer service the other day with about 9 other people, the manager was standing right there doing nothing, and instead of helping, just walked off. She looks like she specializes doing nothing. read more

I just visited Fred Meyers #172 in Kent, WA. I noticed a man in a car that appeared to be unconscious and in need of medical help. I went back into the store and asked for a Security person to check out the situation. I was told to go back out to the parking lot and get the car's license plate. When I returned with the license number the store employee made a phone call, hung up and told me that "we don't do that". I then called 911, waited for the Police to arrive, pointed out the vehicle to them and then I left. When I got home I called Fred Meyer's and talked to a manager. She explained that Fred Meyers doesn't respond to complaints that happen in their parking lot and she suggested calling 911. I hope that man was okay and got help in time. I wouldn't want one of my family members treated that way. Sometimes minutes count. Bottom line..... in a Fred Meyer's private parking lot you are on your own. They don't care about the safety of their customer's in their own private parking lot. They only care when you're inside spending your money. I 'm not going to shop there anymore. If I don't feel safe parking in their lot and going into the store then I will find another store that will at least respond to a problem in their parking lot. SHAME ON YOU Fred Meyers!! read more

Nothing special ... Customer service sucks! Some stuff is over priced!

Like the name says, this is definitely a one-stop shop. They have an organic section for groceries that's decent that I like to check out here. I think their prices are a little on the pricey side but if there's a sale, then it's pretty decent. I like to get workout clothes here too as they offer name brands; same with shoes. read more

After moving to the Kent area I wasn't sure where to shop. There was a Safeway near my house, but the prices are outrageous!! A friend recommended Fred Meyer and I love this location! They have wonderful produce, priced reasonably. They also have a great selection of meats and other basic groceries. I LOVE their great prices on personal care items, cards, and things for your home. I have bought gardening equipment here and am looking at buying some new decorations for our house too! LOVE Fred Meyer! LOVE fuel points! So grateful for a grocery store near my home that fits my budget. This store is always clean and the staff are knowledgeable and kind. read more

Very bad customer service.I called to verify about the pants I bought. But the customer service told me that he couldnt understand me and I keep breaking up each time I said the word "pants", I spelled it to him and he keep saying that I keep breaking up. So I told him to go ahead and connect me to his manager so I can complain about him. And he connected me twice no answer and just hang up. The whole time he understood that im going to complain about him and he cant understand the word pants. read more

I hate, hate, hate the Kent Fred Meyer! Of the last five times I have been there (I shop once a week), four of the five there have been errors and I have been charged the wrong price. When I tell them before the next transaction, they still say I have to go to customer service. At customer service, there are between 8-10 people in line, all doing time-consuming things like wiring money, sending faxes, paying multiple bills. For example, last month on the senior discount day, I told them twice that I get the senior discount. She said it shows up at the end. it didn't show up, then she said I had to go and stand in line at customer service, where they said that would have to return everything in my order and then ring it up again. Today, the checker kept putting her thumb on my produce while she weighed it and then argued with me that it didn't make any difference in the weight. When I got my receipt, it was clear to me that the weights were wrong. I asked her to weigh them again and she said she couldn't and that they were correct. I went to the scale where you ring up your own order and then asked the clerk to weigh my produce there. The weight was TOTALLY different. I went back to the clerk and she told me to go stand in line at customer service. At customer service, I asked to have my produce weighed again. They took me to a register and reweighed it. Tada! Guess what? Totally different weights. No apology, just said she would credit my card with the difference. When I got home, I saw on my receipt that she didn't credit my card, but put it in as cash. I DID NOT GET CASH BACK, so was cheated again. Reiterating: this happens too many times to be honest errors. read more
