Once finally approached I pointed out there were 3 large bags in the oyster tank and the bag that was open was 1/2 way sticking out of the water and i specifically asked for a dozen from any of the other bags that were completely submurged to avoid any potential food poisoning. and his response was a rude as can be "Nope, I'm not opening any other bags if you want oysters you are picking them from that bag". I was mind blown and in shock as a long time customer being spoken to like this was insane. For years even before this was "Town & Country" we have been shopping here and have always had such a pleasant experience with every encounter except this guy. The big attraction here is the Bulk section that has many options - rice, pasta, beans, grains and more. My frequently visited bulk section is the pet treats area. scored chew bones for the pup here at a great deal and less packaging than if I go someplace else. I like how they target us consumers with literal signs showing the price comparisons to the likes of Safeway, Walmart and my personal favorite Fred Meyer which is my main grocery shop and even some prices at WinCo beat them. At the same time, not EVERYthing at WinCo is a deal, or if it is lower, it is negligible. Sticking with the pet food, a 6 individual cans of Purina One, (my preferred) dog canned food is $1.85 here, down from $1.99 at Freddies, I'm all about saving money and frugality, but I couldn't imagine going out of the way for that. Alcohol here is actually more expensive that Freddies or otherwise here at $12.99 for Georgetown 6 packs, compared to $10.99 at Freddies. These are but a few measures, so I know there are deals to be had, but it pays to be a savvy shopper too. My hang ups here are they don't take Credit card. I'm sure that's to help cut down on their expense and middleman, etc. but that's annoying. Also I don't know if it's me but it just feels even more cramped in here than the already cramped markets, we all frequent. I felt like I was constantly blocking somebody even with my cart pulled all the way to the side. Beyond that WinCo is ok.

Can't get too much more slum than this Freddies. Run down dirty RVs often parked for weeks, and people who may be homeless sitting around at all hours of the day. Panhandlers at the drives and doors. Smokers who can't accept Washington state law about smoking near public doors. A Salvation Army donation trailer in the South parking lot... with people dumping 'after hours' donations, and the homeless druggie criminals who steal from it scattering what they don't want all over the place. For stealing; I heard from one of the clerks that this is the 10th most shoplifted Kroger owned store, not hard to believe when you can sit in the inside 'cafe' area next to their Starbucks and watch questionable nervous looking people load their cart or basket directly into backpacks and bags and walk quickly out the doors, maybe or maybe not setting off the alarms. And you can occasionally see people at a dead run with armloads of clothing that dive into a getaway car waiting outside the door. Even the helium tank for filling balloons is not safe, it was stolen and a few days later recovered, empty, from a homeless encampment in the woods down the street. Double check before you purchase, packages sometimes have already been opened, and empty food wrappers and drink bottles can be found fairly easily around the store. Also you'll want to park close to the doors, if for no other reason the blockades of abandoned shopping carts on some walking paths. Also these same designated walking paths/sidewalks may have cars or motorcycles parked on them. Watch out for medical syringes and little ziplock baggies laying about in the drifts of trash that the sweeper trucks can't seem to keep up with, and the piles and bags of months old trash in the landscaping. Ride a bicycle? They have secret bike racks hidden behind rows of carts or behind bins and racks of outdoor merchandise. Good luck reaching them. Or you could park your bike wherever like some do, though they probably don't care if it gets stolen because they stole it to begin with to get back-and-forth from their broken motorhome parked down the street. On a rare occasion you can get a real treat and witness some one ride a bicycle through the store. Not sure if all of this is a bigger or smaller joke than their "new lower prices". It is too often crowded at both customer service and the open registers, and if you want to run in for a few quick items expect to double your time between squeezing through herds of people who suddenly stop, around double-wide shoppers who leave a cart diagonal on one side while blocking the whole aisle by standing next to it, and the cellphone-diseased who can be witnessed almost ramming others and children as they blinding speed along. Recently they seem to be having stock management issues, with random shelves going empty and not restocked for days, sometimes weeks. And be careful when you leave, accidents happen frequently, the driveways out are busy and disorganized, the northern exit cross-crosses a crossing right turn lane and bicycle lane, and the southern most exit is blind in one direction until you drive out into the bicycle lane, and usually blinded in the other direction with a semitractor conveniently parked right in front of a "NO PARKING" sign. The non-traffic-light east exit is plagued by confused people who don't seem to know where to go (7 lanes of traffic) and jaywalkers from the apartment complex. The traffic light east exit... has this fuel-side driveway that has drivers turning out and stopping in the middle of the the tightly-curbed crosswalk blocking pedestrians and wheelchairs (the BRILLIANCE of civil engineering). Nightmare for driver, cyclist and pedestrian. read more

usually this is my go-to place for any of my shopping needs but i just left and counted 10 people without masks within 5 minutes of being in the store. this has never happened before now and when i mentioned it to the man handing out masks at the entrance, he told me that he can only offer one but not enforce the mask mandate. at any other business, if someone refuses to wear a mask, you ask them to leave; not allow them to continue on inside and shop when everyone else is following the mandate set in place for our SAFETY. there was just a large spike in covid-19 cases including a starbucks up the road shutting down with 12 baristas contracting the virus so i figured businesses in the area might follow the mandates more carefully. this to me shows a serious lack in management and shows me that their management does not take this seriously and does not care for the well being of their customers or employees. read more

First off, when we walk in, I had to stop and use the restroom (coffee is my nemesis), and my boyfriend, about the length of 3 checkout stand lengths down had called out, "is there a Starbucks in here?" As I was saying, right behind you, one clerk had said yes and another bagger had been standing by him and actually escorted him there (I found this kinda funny personally), but really showed me that the workers were paying attention to things around them and actually trying to be helpful, instead of ignoring a request like some other employees may have done. The lines were not very long and they had an adequate amount of registers open per customers in the store, which was nice (there is nothing worse than waiting in line to buy your stuff and get out quick). So, for this I will give them an overall 5 stars. read more

The pharmacy staff here is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I am currently sitting in the drive thru window for 25 minutes and this lady- see picture attached. Was more interested in leaving to go home 10 minutes prior to 9 then assisting a sick customer in dire need of her meds. She lied and said it wasn't here and we're closing. I asked for her supervisor and she said there was no one there. She then walked away lazily. I waited and pressed call bottom again and another tech told me the prescription went somewhere else. Wow what a rude lady the first tech. She needs to be fired and she clearly does not know customer service or the importance of her job. She then came back to the window and used her power to bully me to the point of tears. read more

Been a customer for over 25 years. But, has lost my business. Pharmacy took a 2mg tab Rx of subutex and filled it with 8mg tabs. The mistake wasn't found until about a week later. So now have to taper and suffer to get back to the dose needed. Frustrating that the store director won't call me back. I have been told to get a lawyer. All I would like it's some sort of acknowledgement and a little something to compensate for the anguish caused. Until then I will keep writing my reviews and shopping elsewhere. read more

update: May 4, 2021 Didn't need to see the live performance while I was leaving. Saw a guy who might as well have been wearing an orange jumpsuit and number skittering about the store. I was leaving shortly after him, "inventory security" pillars beep, door greeter is saying "Sir. Sir?". Criminal meets face to face with this guy coming in, they struggle a few seconds, criminal viciously slams the guy to the floor and runs away. It is too dangerous to come here anymore. read more

I was so thrilled that they opened a Fred Meyers a few blocks from my house. This one is so much better than the one on 196th in Lynnwood and def better than the one in Everett on Casino. The customer service people there are awesome! And they have managers that watch the lines so if they get 3 or more people in one line, they open a new one! This particular store on 204th Street has become quite a repeated disappointment, because too much lately I come into this store, and they are out of the coffee that I need, seafood items I need to cook, and stocking their shelves happens, maybe yes, or it's empty. I asked for granulated onion, and there was NONE. I looked for meat and seafood bases, and they were either missing, or I grabbed the one last remaining one. Once I bought a 5 lb bag of IQF peeled, deveined shrimp without tail. I went back, there was none like it ever after my first purchase of the shrimp. I remember I had bought breaded oysters, and after coming back, there were none, I mean gone forever. I have also gone to restaurant supply houses that carry pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils. This store had never had them that I can recall, Inventory control is a mess in this store. They need to keep a close record of what moves from the shelves, and then re-order accordingly. Having full shelves is a far better shopping experience than frequently empty shelves. Perhaps I will need to drive all the way down to the Broadview neighborhood store. It's a long drive from North Lynnwood, but I am getting sick and tired of shopping at this particular store.

I am very grateful for Grocery Outlet opening near by so I mostly go there for last minute items and I avoid Thriftway at all costs because I don't want to be pressured into buying the stupid gross chocolate or deal with weirdos with attitude.

Took us 5-10 mins and it was like going around and around and around to find one spot :) As always inside was awesome and their products are always the best . Billing wasn't too bad . We were able to get what we wanted . Always a big fan of Costco products . Value for money . Convenience wise this wasn't the best location but product wise it was . I pulled in to the parking area and was happy to find open spots not too far from the entrance. Entering the store I quickly made my way past the aisles looking for a home supplies type area. Along the wall on the far side of the store from the entrance was a mixed offerings section with items such as kitchen/cooking supplies, toys, and other miscellaneous items. Looking over the toy offerings, one item caught my eye (a small Hot Wheels car). The in-store price was listed along with a non-discount price. I opted for the last one and made my way to check-out. The cashier was friendly and payment went without hiccup.

I love that this location is actually in my city. I also love that it is an excuse to run next store either before or after a movie. There's plenty of parking and it is easy to get in and out of. Everything is new and shiny, they even just added better check out counters. If you don't shop at GO you may not know that the products change all the time, yes you can go and get some staples, but the fun is finding something new. Do be aware that if you find something you love for a good price you may want to run back and buy more before it's gone forever. Sometimes I come here and fill up my cart, but other times I leave without the things I hoped to buy, that's okay though. I feel like I save so much money shopping here, I think it is great how they draw your attention to this when you check out. It's also a great place to find unique products that you may not find at regular stores. They usually have a wide variety of vegan products, the NOSH sections are my favorite. I am still figuring out the app, but hope things brings me extra savings as time goes by. I love stocking up on frozen food and usually try to pick up some fresh veggies too. The alcohol section is also impressive. This is a great place to stop by on your way to a party when you need to bring something and don't want to break the bank. So happy this has come to my neighborhood.
