Great store. I love that the Sumner Fred's still has a separate organic/health food section, and that it hasn't been diminished by an expanded liquor section which is happening at other FMs (Bonney Lake, I am looking at you!) and the produce section is huge. Of the two Fred Meyer stores in the immediate area (Sumner and Puyallup), this one is the better of the two in my opinion. Staff is friendly, layout seems well thought out, they let you park here for high school football games, and the selection seems just a little higher quality. Of the Kroger brands that I have visited (Ralph's, Fry's, QFC and maybe a coupe others), Freddy's seems to be the most robust. Good selection, good organic and bulk section, etc. While I would hardly consider it a one stop, it could be. Unlike the Puyallup location though, this one does not carry firearms or ammo. read more

Great place, except always VERY BUSY. I know Fred Meyer cannot control that but sometimes it just feels like that store is too small for how many people are shopping in it at all times. I feel like it never calms down. But it's nice there's a lot of variety-great health foods section. Customer service is not so great. My husband left something at the customer service desk to pick it up when we were ready to check out and when we did, they "couldn't find it" and then the lady just turned around and started talking to someone else. Ok kind of rude. But all in all its a good place. read more

I had to stop in for a few things and hadn't shopped here before. They layout is similar to the one by my house and the produce selection was the best I have seen. They could use some better lighting as there were a variety of odd people hanging around outside. The check out lanes were very quick. read more

It's alright I prefer Winco now. Some of the cashiers have attitudes at this Fred meyer, but some are super friendly so it so so. I'd rather spend a majority of my money where everyone is ALWAYS nice and happy to help. It's always those downers that have to ruin it for everyone. read more

If you're looking for a place where you can buy your groceries and also add furniture to your home, clothes to your closet, plants to your garden (you get the point I'm sure), then this is the place for you! Fred Meyer is such a great store... I can find just about anything I need, and the prices are pretty reasonable. I am particularly a fan of the deli and bakery sections as that's where I can find specialty pasta salads and desserts. I got my birthday cake for my 30th birthday from Fred Meyer, and it was beautiful, absolutely delicious, and super affordable! And when I'm in a hurry, it is easy to get in and get out. I love shopping here!! There is convenient parking, and the parking lot connects to other shopping and restuarants, which makes this particular Fred Meyer location ideal! Also, there are 2 Redbox kiosks at this location, but the movies do tend to rent out fast, especially with new releases on weekends... be forewarned. Overall, though, this is one of my favorite grocery stores... check it out!! read more

I rarely rate things on here, but Katie and Linda were incredibly helpful as I was only 2 weeks from proposing to my now fiance. They were refereed to me by my good friend, James who took me in to talk with them. I'm impressed by how much they taught me about diamond selection, and how much they worked to stay in my budget. They were able to take a picture I showed them of what I wanted, and found a setting and center diamond that would work for what I was looking for. They even took a diamond out of a separate solitaire ring for the center diamond for my halo ring setting. they called me when it was ready for pickup, and I was very impressed with the final result! I will be coming back to this store for the wedding band and possibly for my band as well, even though I'm a 45 minute drive away living in Bothell, WA...
