This is the largest Fred Meyers I have visited so far. It is further away from my home, but an easy stop when I am also on my way to the Tigard Costco around the corner. This Fred Meyer's is carries all of your normal grocery store needs but also provides shopping for clothing, jewelry, home goods and design, gardening supplies, electronics and more. Every time I have stopped in, it has been clean and the staff have been friendly. This was not my first trip to this store. I typically will stop in when I want fresh produce, pharmacy OTC items or grocery products in smaller quantities. Last summer this was the only store I could find tomato cages for my garden, so it definitely will remain on my list of stores as a go to market.

We do not have any Fred Meyers where I am from. This is considered a "hypermarket"; one stop shop for grocery, drugstore, banking, clothing, jewelry, home decor, home improvement, garden, electronics, restaurant, shoes, sporting goods, toys, etc. Quality/Quantity - Wow, look at all the choices for the local beers!!!! Makes Safeway shameful... Atmosphere - This place is HUGE, like a Walmart of supermarkets. I think I got lost looking for the beer aisle. How do you own your own jewelry store? Service - N/A. Price - Good, cheaper than Safeway. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success, Fred Meyer, since 1931 from Portland Oregon. 1931-1981 - Independent. 1981 - Acquired by KKR. 1998 - Now part of the Kroger family.

My favorite Freddy's and I shop at several of them! This store is one of the smallest which is exactly why I love it! When I need groceries, I don't want a Costco like experience. I want to go in, find what I need, get out. At all of the other Fred Meyers, especially SW Barber and downtown, you have to wander all over the store and since the footprint is so large, it takes forever. No running in for milk. Until I discovered the Freddy's on SW Pacific and I'm so happy I did! This store wasn't even on my radar as I'm not in this area ever. But today I had to pick up something at Petsmart and afterwards needed some groceries and my helpful Google assistant took me here. Yes, it's definitely a smaller store so they have less choices. For example, the clothing area was just basics. Same with home decor, seasonal and garden. I'm ok with that. I was here for groceries and there are some items I can only get at Freddy's, like their Kroger brand of ultra pasteurized half and half, which has a long shelf life. Even though it was my first time here, I was able to find everything I needed without searching. There were several reps on the floor and they were helping people. Something that is a challenge to find at other locations. Parking was easy. Access to I-5 is a few feet from the store so heading back downtown was a breeze. Will most definitely be shopping here for my basic items. It will never be my only grocery store as there are certain items I like from Trader's, Basics, Whole Foods and Zuppans. But for my laundry detergent, paper goods, canned goods, frozen veggies, produce and seasonal items, this is where I will shop.

Really sad Kroger is running this place into the ground. Waiting 20 minutes at full service check out while my ice melts.

First time in I easily found the items, or the area for the items if not NA. Plan to shop there regularly while in the area.

While there, I always check out the clothing and Suprisingly, find cute in-season sweaters, jeans, jackets that look nice and are super j=cheap. Always buy my layering basics here like 100% cotton tanks, t-shirts and long sleeve t-shirts. The other day I bought two crochet cropped sweaters that look like Anthropology dupes. Often I spot a cute sweater or jeans on Instagram and order online for quick pick up at the store. They bring it out to your car making it incredibly convenient and one of my favorite reasons to buy online. Right now it's spring and I'm in the mood to plant some annuals for immediate pops of color. Their prim roses go for $1,99 at Walmart while Freddie's sells for $3,99. Same with pansies and violas; Definitely buy them here if you need several since the savings adds up.

Tonight I was in search of a pin pusher to adjust my massive collection of watches...I have mad skills but the tools that I had didn't do the job. I was hoping that the jewelry dept would have something that i could use. Sadly, there was no Jewelry Dept to be found. No glass case with gold and silver chains, and a selection of inexpensive wedding bands and rings. Not even watches. There was only a couple displays of costume jewelry. I guess term "Supercenter" isn't what it used to be. I added it to my Amazon shopping cart before i even left the store. Shout out to #0057 in Knoxville, TN and #4221 in Cornelius,OR

Unfortunately, when I went to check out at 8:03am, there were zero cashiers available. There were plenty of employees walking around, but I was told self-checkout was the only option. I had nearly $300 worth of groceries in a completely full cart and had to scan and bag every single item myself. Not one employee offered to help. What's the point of paying grocery store prices if customers are expected to do all the work themselves? This was a frustrating experience and a reminder to shop at places like Whole Foods or New Seasons when I want actual customer service or WinCo if I'm expecting to bag my own groceries. Very disappointing experience, especially heading into a busy holiday weekend.

I get some beer and wine always and pickup LOTS of vegan basics. I will say I'll NEVER fill another RX here though. The pharmacist legit ARGUED with me over "allergies" because I say Doxycycline and Sulfa as I vomit. She said "vomiting isn't an allergy" and that could prevent you from getting certain antibiotics. And I said in all the years I've listed them it's NEVER been an issue. She DUG in and again "if you leave them as allergies..." And I said I DON'T CARE. I DO NOT WANT TO REMOVE THEM. She then dug in farther and said it could be very inconvenient blah blah blah and I said NO. I do NOT want them removed. This woman KEPT arguing with me. I was honestly SO mad. This store would be a 5 star if it were not for this pharmacist. And I was already irritated as myself and TWO other customers waited for over 5 minutes while the pharmacist chit chatted with the woman ahead of me. We could all hear their conversation and it felt INCREDIBLY disrespectful of our time and of the other customers. The pharmacist here is 0 stars. But the store is 5. So I'll do a 3. But dang woman you are THE worst. I'll be going to CVS.
