4/30/22 They have their own Jewelry Store?

We do not have any Fred Meyers where I am from. This is considered a "hypermarket"; one stop shop for grocery, drugstore, banking, clothing, jewelry, home decor, home improvement, garden, electronics, restaurant, shoes, sporting goods, toys, etc. Quality/Quantity - Wow, look at all the choices for the local beers!!!! Makes Safeway shameful... Atmosphere - This place is HUGE, like a Walmart of supermarkets. I think I got lost looking for the beer aisle. How do you own your own jewelry store? Service - N/A. Price - Good, cheaper than Safeway. :) Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success, Fred Meyer, since 1931 from Portland Oregon. 1931-1981 - Independent. 1981 - Acquired by KKR. 1998 - Now part of the Kroger family.

My favorite Freddy's and I shop at several of them! This store is one of the smallest which is exactly why I love it! When I need groceries, I don't want a Costco like experience. I want to go in, find what I need, get out. At all of the other Fred Meyers, especially SW Barber and downtown, you have to wander all over the store and since the footprint is so large, it takes forever. No running in for milk. Until I discovered the Freddy's on SW Pacific and I'm so happy I did! This store wasn't even on my radar as I'm not in this area ever. But today I had to pick up something at Petsmart and afterwards needed some groceries and my helpful Google assistant took me here. Yes, it's definitely a smaller store so they have less choices. For example, the clothing area was just basics. Same with home decor, seasonal and garden. I'm ok with that. I was here for groceries and there are some items I can only get at Freddy's, like their Kroger brand of ultra pasteurized half and half, which has a long shelf life. Even though it was my first time here, I was able to find everything I needed without searching. There were several reps on the floor and they were helping people. Something that is a challenge to find at other locations. Parking was easy. Access to I-5 is a few feet from the store so heading back downtown was a breeze. Will most definitely be shopping here for my basic items. It will never be my only grocery store as there are certain items I like from Trader's, Basics, Whole Foods and Zuppans. But for my laundry detergent, paper goods, canned goods, frozen veggies, produce and seasonal items, this is where I will shop.

16' and 50' Ethernet cables more sizes too

Really sad Kroger is running this place into the ground. Waiting 20 minutes at full service check out while my ice melts.

First time in I easily found the items, or the area for the items if not NA. Plan to shop there regularly while in the area.

It's popular destination for tourists' shopping since there's no sales tax. The common spaces are wide, clean and have lots of open sky windows. There are plenty of sitting spots available as well for guests. We were in the mall for about 5 hours. We shopped in the Lego store, Tumi, VS, Dick's, 85C Bakery, and BoxLunch. We had friendly interactions from staff members in the all the stores. We also went to the food court on second floor, which was underwhelming compared to rest of the mall. The dining space had old tiles on the floor, the chair and tables were basic ones. There were 10-12 stores available offering a variety of cuisines. The food was decent from couple of stores we tried. Prices were little bit expensive. Overall we had wonderful half day spent shopping and dining at this mall. There was a good mix of popular and luxurious brands, offering wide range of products. The food court could use some facelift to match with rest of the wonderful interior of the mall.

My opinion of the sales merchandise offering was underwhelming with sale things hard to even find and a selection looking like scraps. My star rating on that is a 2. So I'm in the men's dept. Obviously looking and searching right in front of two sales associates who were yapping amongst themselves and didn't even give me a look. Then I'm approached from the side by an associate named Grant who could tell I was searching for something and offered his assistance. He showed me to the bleak sales rack and I tried on a couple of things. He was the epitome of a full service sales associate getting the right size etc. I ended up just looking with him in the full price section and after a short discussion he understood exactly what I was looking for. He brought me shoes to try and a new belt. Stayed with me right through the entire transaction, alterations and so forth. I drive in from Camas, WA, and my experiences have consistently reflected the level of service and care associated with the Nordstrom name. Unfortunately, today was very different. Every April, I treat myself to a birthday shopping trip and genuinely look forward to it. In the past, I've always been greeted promptly, assisted with sizes, and made to feel welcome. This time, no associate approached me--or any of the other middle‑aged women browsing nearby. Two employees stood at the register engaged in conversation, not helping anyone. I eventually interrupted to request a fitting room, but no one ever checked on me afterward. The lack of attention was surprising and disappointing, completely unlike any experience I've had there before. I left feeling invisible and disheartened, and I'm not sure I'll return. If this is the new norm, I'll need to find another way to celebrate my birthday going forward.

First of all, their underwear area was a complete disaster the last time I visited. The floor was completely covered in bras, almost piled up to my knees... I was very confused like I must have missed the apocalypse. This time I was able to really see all of the merchandise! It was laid out so nicely on racks. I swear they used to have carpet... all I know is that it was smooth concrete, so easy to walk around and I don't have to dig through things to find my size. This isn't a bin situation. They also rearranged the shoes and the aisles do seem a touch smaller there which, as far as complaints go, that is a small one. It was also nice that their sizes and the way each of the racks are marked seemed way better. I am a sort of odd sizing and ladies, can we discuss for a moment a few key things. Those of us with substantial breasts... why do all clothing manufacturers want to put a billboard of some type on our chest? And since I am a larger size now and older... it's nice that you want to allow us to show off parts but everything is either a tent or I'm practically naked. And, stop making clothing for larger sizes with material that has zero give. I'm going to rip it even just trying it on! I did find several amazing dresses though that were just perfect... showing off the curves without horribly uncomfortable material. You can always tell the trends happening while going down. And as I got older, they didn't carry the more fashionable clothes I prefer. This year, while doing a search for a faux black leather pants, JC Penny's had a pair online that were more attractive than any other options that came up during the search. They arrived within a few days and were very nice, well made, stylish, but way too long. Like 6 inches too long. 2 alteration places quoted me $50 to hem. Not happening. So I ventured to the store to do a return to avoid paying return postage. Upon entering the store, I wondered if they were closed. There is no one there! Worse, all the previous cashier stations are gone and no associates anywhere to ask for assistance. I wandered through every section of the first floor, past very dated looking clothing, and finally found an associate in the makeup department. She explained that online returns, and all purchases, are handled back by the shoe department. Plus just one other location on 1st floor and one cashier on 2nd floor. Well, I guess if there are so few customers, this makes sense, but it does nothing to contribute to a positive experience to create repeat purchases. Sure enough, I found the cashier, and the few other customers, all perplexed, wondering if this was where they should be paying for their purchases. My return was processed, after 10 minutes of very challenging system issues where they could not locate my order, and with manager assistance, th3 return was completed. I purchased a pair of Sketchers while there. As I made my way to the other end of the store to exit, the alarm went off and I realized they didn't cut off the sensor. So back through the entire store again. Definitely got in my steps, but that wasn't the point of my visit.

Let's start with online pickup. The inventory is never accurate, which is why I place pickup orders before driving 30 minutes to this location. One of my items was marked unavailable... yet I walked in and found it instantly. I don't work here and barely shop here, so that's already a problem. Now the cherry on top. I NEVER get to shop without my toddler, but since this was for Easter, I had someone watch them so I could actually shop alone. While I was in-store--basically doing the job of the employees--I thought I'd treat myself and try something on. I waited about 5 minutes for help. An employee came up, told me it was closed, flipped the sign from open to closed, and said "too bad." I explained I live 30 minutes away and rarely get this chance. She told me to just buy it and return it, then claimed no one in the entire store had a key. So either she lied, or there's a serious security issue. Imagine a situation in a fitting room where someone needs help and no one can access it--that's unacceptable. I checked out with the item I had to find myself, then went to customer service to pick up the rest of my order. They told me I had to leave the store and drive to a pickup spot--even though I was already inside. When I asked again about the fitting room, another employee said they could have opened it... after I had already checked out. I was willing to overlook the pickup issue because things happen. But the way I was treated pushed it over the edge. This store needs serious management changes. I will not be coming back to this location. I'd rather drive farther than deal with this again.
