They are inept in their inability to do their job correctly both initially and then after making a mistake that costs their customers time and money. Charging a customer a massive cash price on a prescription while holding their insurance card in their hand then being rude about assisting in processing a refund. " our computers are down, " " we can't process this over the phone, " " talk to the pharmacy, " " talk to the manager " who the f**k wants to deal with this???? 3 trips to this location, multiple phone calls and still no resolution. Excuse after excuse. Given the run around. It's not even about the money at this point just the principle. In my profession if I'm consistently avoiding the customer and giving them the run around I don't want to help them. I guess I'm naive because what do you expect with low wage employees in a state thats something like 48th in high school graduation. read more

I have gone there twice in the past 3 weeks and both times a male check-out cashier [same person both times] watched as I bagged my own groceries - I reached for a bag to start the process of bagging and he stood by and let me finish without lifting a finger or putting the items I purchased within my reach so I had to go around the counter to get them. Laziness or is this a new thing bag your own groceries while someone stands and waits for you to finish? this was not the self- check-out I noticed he let other customers do the same. I dropped in with a watchband that needed links removed for my wife. I was told, "We don't work on them if we didn't sell them." I said, "No problem, I'll go to a real jeweler." How's that for customer service? I generally expect more from Freddies, but the jeweler seems to be a separate little fiefdom. I also need a new bands for my Hamilton and my Tissot watches. Now I know where I"m not buying. Skip K-mart and the department store junk, and go to a real jeweler. I will stick with the local, independent jewelers for repairs and small stuff and hit Shane's for the big ticket items. Sorry, Freddy, your jeweler bites. read more

TERRIBLE! Brought in a necklace to have fixed and they actually made it unwearable! A $212.00 necklace now useless. The best part was I brought in and explained that the necklace will kink-up, but I would genitally undue those kinks and when I picked it up the store manager used her nails on a white gold chain to unkink it! WTF. I also had a witness with me watching this occur, he couldn't believe it. It completely destroyed the necklace. Then I was told the regional manager was going to call me about the issue, and did that happen, NO! I ended up calling them back to have them tell me that the regional manager did see the necklace and that's how it just was, totally ridiculous because it NOW was destroyed. Do not go here for any reason! The people are unprofessional, will ruin your stuff, and then have the nerve to say it was like that to begin with. I also purchased a necklace at the time I dropped off the necklace to be repaired and I WILL return that. Less than one star is what this place deserves! BEWARE OF THIS WATCHMAKER, I did not wish to have this review effect the actual jewelry store, so I did not give it the single star it deserved: I took my watch in for a replacement battery. This location offers a "watch maker" on site only 2 days per week. I left my watch with a preapproved cost of up to $40.00 due to the value of the watch, I was told that the process would be both expensive as well as difficult. The Watchmaker was in the next day so I made a point of returning to the store the next evening. When they found my watch, it had a note on it that the repair would be $38.00, however the repair had not been done. So now they wanted to keep my watch for 4 more days. As I already had the tool to remove the watch back, I went home and took the back off to see just how complicated it would be, once it was off I found the battery to be most easily accessible and came out with just a pair of tweezers. I found a 5 pack of name brand batteries on Amazon for $5.15 with free 2 day shipping. Armed with this information you can draw your own conclusions of this so called "watchmaker". Please know that each store has their own independent watchmaker and please do not apply my experience in Wilsonville to speak to other locations. Good luck! read more

We've bought 6 pieces from other locations of Fred Meyer Jewelers over the last 8 years, and have always had an at least satisfactory, if not excellent experience. That changed when I took a Relic watch to this location to have the battery changed. While the entire experience is too long to detail here, the bottom line is that the "15-20 minutes" I was quoted when I dropped it off turned into 3 1/2 WEEKS, including having it returned to me once, apparently uninspected, because it was only after I inspected it myself that I saw the 2 of the 3 hands were completely detached from the face. Finally got it back in original condition, or so I thought, because 3 months later, the battery died again. When I took it to the local Relic retailer (I wasn't going back to FMJ) he stated that "something wasn't right" with the watch, so I had to send it to Relic for repair. They managed to receive the watch, diagnose the problem (it wasn't reassembled correctly), fix it, and return it to me from HOUSTON faster than FMJ was able to do it from 2 miles away. To make things more fun, I still shop at this FM location, and when leaving the store the original salesman and the clueless store manager like to give me dirty looks, assumedly because I spoke with their regional manager about my experience. Awkward. To be clear, we would still shop at FMJ, just not at this location. read more

I got an opal ring from my brother for Christmas, and I made the mistake of wearing it to the restaurant where I work. An opal got chipped, and I took it in to the store to see if I could get it repaired, and the manager-- whose name I unfortunately did not get-- traded me for a brand new version of the same ring, no questions asked. Unprofessional, offensive, insulting describes my recent visit. Jewelry was taken in for repair: pearl bracelet and two sterling silver bracelets - they were referred to as "trinkets." Employee also argued w/me about pearl bracelet being too long and clasp problem on one silver bracelet. Estimates for repair excessively high. Contacted FM GM and regional jewelry manager but no response. Two colleagues also had problems - have found another local jewelry who is delightful. read more

I bought my wife's wedding here, at the same time I got a lifetime warranty on the ring for annual cleaning and repairs. Several times in the past they have tried to get out of the warranty trying to charge us. This last time my wife brought the ring in the so called jewelers put it in a shaker cleaner which the ring has like 100 tiny diamonds on it and the previous jewelers there in the past have said that the ring would not be able to handle the machine because of its design. Making a long story even longer now most of the posts of the ring have been shaken loose or broken and they are now trying to charge my wife over $800 for damages they have done to the ring. Probably am going to take them to court along with post this story anywhere it will get out there to warn people. The tualatin feed Meyer jewelry department are not trustworthy, they are incompetent, and they are crooks. Go elsewhere to get your jewelry or you will end up regretting it. Btw only reason they get 1 star is cause I cannot go lower. read more
