Do not recommend. At the time we thought it was great but now we're having the same issues with my ac again, come to the roof to check things out and this is how he left my ac unit. He left all the wires exposed and didn't tuck anything back away and now my ac has shorted again because he never tucked everything away from the weather. A/C went out on a Friday night in early May. Freddy answered his phone at 10:30 and was going to head over to my house to check. Since it appeared to be icing up, we decided to have him come over the next morning instead. Since I knew my system was cresting 20 years old, I didn't hold out hope for a repair and sure enough I was leaking coolant from many coils. It could not be repaired. And who sets aside thousands of dollars for a new AC system? Freddy was professional and explained all the options. There was varying degrees of costs and Freddy never pushed any option. He patiently answered questions on each option. His company offers Wells Fargo financing, so it helps in making a more long term investment rather than an immediate cheap fix. Given this, I opted to go with a 21 seer variable speed system. After researching they should offer the best energy efficiency and lowest monthly electric bills. Everyone who is in this situation should get multiple estimates. I had 5 people come and give bids after Freddy. He beat all their prices and presented the most knowledge. A few contractors talked about tearing out my ceiling, leaving me with either drywall repairs or more costs to fix it. One even talked about cutting into my roof trusses to get the unit to fit - a potential structural issue as I saw it. None of these things happened with Freddy's install. Freddy delivered the system on schedule and the install went smoothly and quickly. It was about six hours total. His crew was clean, respectful and quick. They knew what they were doing. Since this was a variable speed system, it takes some getting used to. My old system was full on with a full blast of cold air and then off. This unit can come on really low and you don't necessarily feel a cold air blast. It's more like a light breeze. This difference highlighted some hot spots in my home, so Freddy came back out a few days later to adjust vents and air flow. All good since. Other companies also used the power company rebate to make it look like you were paying less. Freddy gave a very competitive bid and I got to keep the rebate to add to the loan, if I wanted. With any install, Freddy includes maintenance and tuneups in his price for 2 years. You can add more years to keep an expensive purchase in top shape. This is an up and coming company that wants to do right by their customers. Phoenix has a thousand AC companies so if you're like me, you don't know who to call or who to trust. What I appreciated most about Freddy was his explanations on things and his low pressure approach. His prices were good, but I'd have spent more if I hadn't gotten a good feeling on his business. You want things done right and if something does go wrong, you want someone who stands behind their work to make it right. That was my feeling on Freddy and why I opted to use him. read more

It's interesting how things work out..if you have followed my other reviews you could follow a timeline of repairs/installs I've had done to a recently purchased home. It's so hit and miss of finding a fair, honest, trustworthy and personable company. It's even more difficult to find these top-notch business professionals because there are so many paid fake positive reviews. I chose Freddy's because they don't charge a fee to diagnose the problem. I can't encourage you enough, don't pay a company to come out to tell you what is wrong. Do you pay your mechanic upfront to diagnose a problem? Do you pay for your restaurant dinner before eating (Country Buffett is different)? Freddy was responsive immediately via Yelp and then I called him and he was available within 15 minutes (this was at 6pm on 12/18/19. He came to our property. He introduced himself. He had his equipment ready. He is like able. He listened to my concerns. He diagnosed the problem. The price to repair the issue was a sticker shock because I was hoping it was something small but since we recently bought the house and most inspectors don't do a thorough job it's quite likely that our heat pump had never produced heat. After all it was installed by Hobaica (1 star). However, the price quoted including labor was honest and fair. I know because the following day I spoke with a superintendent of a recognizable new home builder and he called his friend and the price quoted was lower than what the average price to normally repair things of this nature. Freddy has a 1yr parts warranty, which is standard and 2 years on labor. He also shared his cost on yearly heat pump maintenance, which is below the market price. So i gave him a call within 30 mins he showed did a diagnosis of our hvac unit he was very knowledgeable and humble owner he knows how to treat the customer right and fair within 1 hour he got our ac fix and running and this was at 11pm he was still full of energy. This is an updated review, our AC stopped working in the middle of June in Phoenix AZ. After some research I found a company called Larson. They had good reviews but when I spoke to them I felt like they were trying to sell this contract that I didn't want so that's when I found Freddy's online. I called Freddy on a Sunday morning and he explained that he was very busy, he could maybe see us in the later evening but if something changed he would let me know. 2 hours later (early afternoon) he called and said he was close by and he got to us early! After a short period of time he explained to me that he had pinpointed the problem. It was my coil that had a leak. I told him that coil had been replaced recently by Collins Comfort and instead of trying to sell me so he could do the work, he mentioned that I should call Collins Comfort first. He told me that Collins Comfort should come out and fix it for free. So I called and he was right. Collins Comfort explained to me that all the labor, parts and work are free of charge but there is no coil at the moment and that my AC would be down until they could get the coil from the manufacturer. Collins Comforts Technician said that there was nothing they could do and to get a hotel until the coil arrived. After 2 days in a hotel, Freddy called me to check up on the AC. I told him what was going on and he said he would stop by the house later. He showed up to our house with a plan to do a temporary fix until our part arrived. Something that Collins Comfort never mentioned. Freddy treated us like family. Freddy was always thinking about the best interest of his customer. Freddy never tried to take advantage of us he always gave us the best advice for our pockets even if that meant him not getting the job! Freddy honesty and integrity is something very hard to find now days. Our AC is still working perfectly on this temporary fix while we wait on our coil that still hasn't arrived and Freddy just called me again recently to see how our AC is doing. Thank you Freddy!
