Came back to us and let us know the unit was 16 years old! He explained in detail what repairs needed to be made and what that would cost in relation to a new unit. We ultimately decided to replace the entire unit. The installation team came out at 6:30 am, just 48 hours after making our decision. Brian and Oscar were so polite and professional. Once the new unit was installed, they came in and even fixed our thermostat mounting that had come loose. Shortly after the new unit was running...it quit. They came in to tell us the bad news, BUT they had a new unit on the way, and they stayed on-site the entire time. The new unit arrived and was installed quickly. Hershy with 4HIM A/C came to do a seasonal check of my A/C unit. Very friendly and professional. Got along well with my 53 lb Staffy () and quickly, yet thoroughly, completed the task. He did find an issue with the unit in how much amperage was used from a dead start and explained how adding a quick start package could prolong the life of my unit but also stressed it was not absolutely necessary. Contracted them through choice home warranty The unit was not cooling. Clearly there was a leak so we had asked for choice home warranty to come and have a technician diagnose where the leak is and fix it. These guys failed to diagnose anything and simply stated there is a leak and the coils supposedly were dirty They also suggested putting a leak seal liquid into the system, which causes all sorts of issues down the road with PARTS failing early [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ridiculous service they never contacted us on arrival despite us making multiple calls to tell them to contact us[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Never bother to put a pressure test on the system to locate and confirm if there's even a leak So basically they want to collect a fee for showing up and doing nothing That's absurd! Do not recommend there are plenty of other qualified HVAC people in Arizona No, I'm sure they're going to have various technical mumbo-jumbo on all the wonderful things they did but the reality is here is what should've happened 1) [[HIGHLIGHT]]given the multiple calls made to this Hvac vendor notifying them that there is a warranty claim made with choice and to ensure that the technician contacts us before arriving with their ETA. They should've contacted us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 2) [[HIGHLIGHT]]upon arrival they should've validated their charges and requested approval along with collecting their payment after verifying what they were going to be doing with us. Never happened and they just did whatever they did without talking to us or gaining any approval from us[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 3) obviously since refrigerant is low. There's clearly a leak. You don't have to be a air-conditioning genius to figure that out. What they should've done is a proper pressure test or brought out leak detection equipment to identify the cause of the leak and the cost to fix it as any warranty claim customer would expect from a quality experience, Hvac vendor. Instead, they provided an absurd response that they instead wanted to fill up the unit and add leak seal to it This is a really crappy Band-Aid approach to fixing leaks. The leak seal material that's used causes all sorts of issues with other parts and components to fail down the road and it's not good for the system. What they should've done is found the leak properly and fixed it then they should've tested it Had choice home warranty, even approved it. This would've turned into a lawsuit most likely if they would've put leak seal in the system instead of finding and fixing the actual problem. I don't recommend the spender not only from a communication standpoint, but also their technician seems to be quite lazy and their approaches substandard in terms of best practices read more

Do not hire this business! This is a take your money and run type business. Both repair and refrigerant scam - after they left it was not cooling within hours. I was charged 58% higher than market price for refrigerant and repair was not completed to manufacturers specs. I believe this company is targeting customers who don't know anything about HVAC. They seem to pick and choose which customers get to experience the scam side of the business. I agree with other posting that it advertising as Christian business but is anything but that. The shoddy workmanship is almost shocking for the level of experience advertised. read more

I had a technician come out after contacting my home warranty. Originally I had called my home warranty because I thought I had heard sounds from my air conditioner which no longer was happening, but I still wanted to make sure that the AC was OK. The technician checked everything and said that everything looked good and recommended that I eventually get the coils outside cleaned and that was it however, before he left, he tried to sell me a preventive maintenance plan. I have a maintenance contract with another HVAC company. I was having AC issues. This HVAC company checked out the ac unit and said I was 4 lbs low on freon. In short they wanted over $600.00 to add freon to a new AC unit without any signs of freon leaks. I contacted 4Him Air Cooling and Heating for a second opinion. Austin looked at the system and determined during the original install (by the first HVAC company) they forgot to install a critical plug for humidity drainage. Austin installed the plug and inspected the entire system. He determined the system did not need 4 lbs of freon. IF the original HVAC technician added 4 lbs of freon he would have caused extensive damage to the system. I am so happy I called 4Him Cooling and Heating for a second opinion. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am thankful for Austin's ability to listen to my concerns, understand the issue and repair the the AC System correctly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In short, Austin really saved my day with his knowledge of all HVAC Systems. in short, Austin performed the correct repairs needed and saved me lots of dollars and future repairs.
