The coating had waves in it and the owner of Dream Garages agreed that his product was unacceptable but claimed it was not his problem. He claimed the concrete was not level. I had another epoxy floor contractor look at their final product who said, if the concrete substrate was not level, Dream Garages should have known it was not level enough to produce an acceptable finished product when they were doing their prep work on the concrete. If the concrete was not level as Dream Garages claims, it should have had been brought to our attention at that time, as we could have grinded the concrete level. I believe I was owed any information of pre-existing conditions that would have prohibited an acceptable final product from Dream Garage Specialists When Dream Garages applied their epoxy to the concrete, they accepted the concrete as acceptable or they should have not have applied their epoxy to it. At the end, I had construction fatigue and paid Dream Garages in full just for it to be over.

We had a small job, painting our kitchen island, and were worried the size of the job wouldn't…read moreattract a quality painter. Our concern was someone would simply spray it and call it good and charge us a lot of money. We simply couldn't be any happier with the work that Fernando did. I'll go through the steps he took and include my thoughts. 1. During his estimate he made sure to learn how the original paint had been applied so he would know what to fix before he started prepping and painting. 2. He made sure the paint was an exact match to what was already on the island. He went to the same company and got the same paint color. It is a perfect match. 3. He was on time and for the day and a half he took to finish the work he focused on the job. 4. He set up a paint station in the garage where he sanded, primed and painted the doors. Inside, he created a tent over the island so no paint would escape and end up on other parts of the kitchen. None did. 5. On the second day, he checked to see how the paint had dried and ended up doing more sanding and painting to ensure a smooth, covered coating on all surfaces. This job could have been done in a day, maybe less, but Fernando wanted to do it right so he planned enough time so he could do it right. 6. We were satisfied with the quote we got from Fernando. More important was that even though he had to take a few more steps and do some rework to get it just right there was never any mention of charging more. 7. Okay, here's the most important part of my review. I researched different painters and selected Just Pros Painting while my wife was out of town. She was still gone when Fernando completed the work. I know, I was working without a net and if the job wasn't done right it might have gotten ugly. Just kidding... kind of. Upon returning, my wife gave the entire job a thumbs up. Phew! Just Pros Painting has my highest recommendation. Note: Fernando is a super nice guy. I thoroughly enjoyed hanging around while he worked.

Roughly 950 square feet of living space and he had it done in a week. Worked non stop from 8-4 and did an outstanding job. I hope this can be fixed when I paint the room. I also notice the transition strip in the office (by the entrance of the house) was composed of two different pieces that varied in color instead of one solid piece. Joe left a bag of trash in my house instead of taking it with him. Since my house was a mess I was able to use it for some of the trash I had laying around but in all honesty l don't think he should have left it behind. We love our floors though. They look so much better than the old worn carpet. Joe came in time every day for 3 days and got to work without bothering us. I wish we could hire him again but I think we're done with floor renovations lol.

Red flags ignored. Ended up with footing for masonry wall that was 9 inches out of level, sloppy,…read moreand inadequate to safely support the load. Cost me dearly. Read on for details. I called Todd to build a cement block wall based on a recommendation from a neighbor. He was responsive at first and started quickly, but to my detriment I ignored a few red flags, including dodging my direct question before signing about the footing depth by telling me to read the testimonials on the website. I don't think Todd has ever done masonry. He seems to be a shrewd business person who connects customers to subcontractors without holding them to any uniform standard. The footing for this 57-foot long, 8-foot high wall was excavated and poured in a single day. It was 9 inches (yes, 9!!) out of level, not stepped but following the grade of the lot, and sloppy. When I confronted, Todd referred me to the heads of the crew. With some language barriers, they described only minor adjustments to "level" each block. They must have planned to lay them in snaky courses, either hoping the stucco would hide their sloppy work or not even having that much of a plan. Keep in mind we are talking about isometric, rectangular cement block, not natural stone. Furthermore, the footing was only 12 inches wide and went about 11 inches below grade to support a straight, heavy, 8-foot tall wall. I believe that I prevented a catastrophic failure down the road by cancelling the whole project. I'm out $6600 for the footing alone, as that was the best offer I got from Todd to cancel the whole thing. Now have a cedar fence where my sound wall was intended to go, after paying to core into the footing to set posts. To his credit, Todd did offer to demo the footing and start over. I was afraid to go forward with that approach for a host of reasons. It was going to be disruptive, damaging to my property, and time-consuming, all to the end of letting the same crew that screwed it up in the first place have another go at it. Sometimes you just have to suck up the sunk cost and move on. My biggest mistake by far on this project was hiring Austin Stucco and Masonry. I took a video of the footing against a level line, but Yelp is no longer allowing videos, so these snapshots are taken from the video and are not as clear as they would be otherwise.

In addition to stucco repair work, they installed new stucco on a wall that had siding that was in need of repair. At the end of the job they confirmed with me that all work was completed to my satisfaction before considering the job done. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant. All-in-all a great company to work with. I will absolutely use them again for future projects.
