Not a…read morelot of scenery, but it gets you out in nature and that really helps if you have been cooped up at home during the Covid Pandemic. There are some very minor bridges here or there and a lot of people come here to run. Please remember to wear your mask as you are passing people constantly. There are several points of entry. I entered from the Damascus side where there are a bunch of townhomes and there is not a lot of parking, but a decent amount. I can see it being really difficult on a Saturday for parking though. Also, when you are exiting, it can get dangerous. Cars are coming from both sides and it is difficult to see if there are any incoming cars when the cars next to you are blocking your view. Just exit VERY slowly to be safe. There are some streams and water/ponds on the trail. Nothing spectacular, but there so its not just dirt and trees. You may run into some deer here or there because its Maryland. I just like the fact that this is an option for a good 20-30 minute walk and another 20-30 minute walk back.

After looking through the internal notes of the account, the general manager thought I should be refunded. But he could not authorize such a large refund and had to kick it up the chain to the regional manager. After many attempts, the regional manager essentially ignored the flagged requests from the general manager. So please, do your due diligence and look through the internal notes on the account. I don't judge a company by the mistakes they make, but how they fix them.

In the time I was there, they opened up several new rooms in the gym, including more benches, racks, and deadlifting platforms. They also seemed responsive to their member surveys and it seemed like my suggestions for improvement were actually taken into account based on the changes I observed. I typically went during the mornings and found that I rarely had to wait for equipment, which is always a plus. Better experience here than most gyms I have been to.

And saw the "under" orientation of the toilet paper, which violates the original patent for toilet paper holders from 1891, where the paper clearly goes over the top. The "over" configuration: * prevents the roll from brushing the wall * makes it easier to grab with one hand * reduces accidental unrolling * and, most importantly, does not make decent people feel like they're living in a lawless society. What you have here is bathroom anarchy. I must admit that tile and brushed metal fixtures actually look really nice, which somehow makes the backward roll even more upsetting. It's like a beautifully plated meal served on the floor. Moreover, the ceiling contains approximately 400 judgmental eyes observing you while you attempt to live your life. The wallpaper on the ceiling (on the ceiling!!!) has a pattern based on the "evil eye" motif (sometimes called nazar), which shows up in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern design. Traditionally it's supposed to ward off bad luck or jealousy. All it does in this case is confirm the establishment has abandoned reason and at least one of the people who work has met a psychedelic mushroom. I slammed those balls into orbit! Next I came here while watching her boyfriend's softball team compete. They were sponsored by Herson's Honda. I was the score keeper as well as the bat boy for the season. You've got to know when it's safe to get the bat because the play might still be a live play! There were some pretty slick slides that season. One of our players looked like Marc McGwire. I think I'm the first person who ever told him that, and everyone was geeking. Shoot this must have been in 1998. Fast forward to the middle 2000s when this was (and still is) the best spot to play basketball. That one rim has been crooked for as long as I remember. I've got fond memories of playing here under the lights on warm summer nights, saying how we're going to leave but really we chill there for hours, checking out a beatle or discussing girls. I love the cornfields across the street. I also love this park simply because it feels like a step back in time. Here you are, out on Sundown Road, far away from the trendy cities, having fun with your friends. We should have had our Homecoming pictures here. This was a good place to chill/kill time in case your friend wasn't ready for you to come over for the house party since his parents hadn't left for the Pocono's yet. Please don't throw away the beer bottles here though! That's what elementary school dumpsters are for. More recently I have used this park as a pit stop during long runs. They've got tennis courts, baseball/football fields, and a playground. There's hardly anyone here. I don't know where everyone is.

We went to Clustered Spires to play last Sunday. I hadn't played there before so thought we'd give…read moreit a try. Nice folks working the clubhouse, but the course wasn't in good shape. The tee boxes were dirt and clumps of crabgrass; the traps were hard packed; the mowing hadn't be kept up (yes it had rained Thursday and Friday); and fairways had bald areas and crab grass. We never saw an employee on the course....no marshal, cart or maintenance staff. For $78, I thought it was overpriced and I could play a better course in Montgomery County for nearly half. I've heard it was a good course, but right now, I'd have to give it a "C" at best.

We continue to go to the pool to find zero lounge chairs available, even as early as 22 minutes…read moreafter opening, so we leave. When considering the cost of a membership with the number of times we've had to turn around and go home, it is not worth it. It would benefit the club to expand the fence around the pool so when the lounge chairs are full members could put towels behind. I could see the club being good for swim team members; it has nice lanes for swimming laps, but for anyone else, if you want to go for a swim through the week anytime after 4, the swim team is using it.

There is a section of various downhill trails, another section of trick jumps, and a handful of trails. There is at least one bike service station in case you run into trouble. Parking is a bit tricky since you can only fit two cars where the main entrance is off the main road. Otherwise, I think many people park at the school but not sure what is safe or not (to avoid a tow).

Don't ride if blinking red! Ride dirt, not mud! Lots of jump trails, but can easily ride perimeter if that is not your thing.
