I had a bad experience with this company from start to finish. They agreed to use my left over…read morerings, rod and fabric from a job I had done myself. I waited around one month for my drapes but never heard from them so I called them to be told that they were not ready but should be ready in a couple of weeks. But, she said, you have to add the time it takes for them to get here and we have to wait until one of our staff has time to install them. I wasn't too happy about the length of time this was taking because the window they were going on had sun on them all afternoon and would fade the new furniture and linens. When 2 ladies finally arrived to install my drapes they came to the conclusion that they were 4" too high. I told them I was upset with this and one of the ladies said "well, we were doing you a favor by using your fabric and rods to save you money. Her tone was accusatory .Her answer should have been. "We are sorry for this mistake, we will rectify it as soon as possible". The ladies said they had a local lady who could correct the problem and she is very fast. I thought they meant within 3-4 days. Nope. It was 1-1/2 weeks. When they came back to install the drapes for a second time I told them I was not very happy with the whole experience and they still didn't say sorry. In fact when they had finished they just picked up their tools and left in an unlike business manner. This next thing really made me angry. On the bill I got they stated: 1. Additional materials bought to be able to use customers own rod. My rod they installed is exactly the same as it was the day I bought it and is hanging on my window so I have no idea what they are talking about. 2' Alterations needed due to customer having wrong size rings causing measurements to be inaccurate. The rings are the same ones I had the day I bought them. 3, Extra trip charge due to customer not having enough of the correct size rings, Yes, I didn't have enough of the rings and I told the ladies that and I went to Home Depot and purchased 2 boxes of them, That was a round trip of 48 miles for me, NOT FOR THEM, and I have the receipt to prove it. The old ones I had and the new ones I purchased were both the same size. ALL IN ALL I ADVISE YOU ALL TO STAY AWAY FROM INSIDE STORY AND THEIR RUDE ASSISTANTS WHO MAKE LIFE UNPLEASANT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS

We picked the shed and trim colors, upgraded the floor, went over door placement and loft and window options with David, agreed on a delivery date and signed the paperwork! Joanna kept us updated as it was being built, and even sent us photos of the various stages. She is very knowledgeable and was quick to get back with me with the answers to my questions, even after hours. I don't think I asked one question that she didn't have an immediate response for, which right away tells me she loves her job and helping people! DELIVERY DAY! Jeff delivered our building on time and actually called me a couple times the week of to make sure I was still good with the delivery date and time. I really appreciated that because the building was going to our new address and there were a handful of things I was juggling at the time with other deliveries. Our building came in on an 18 wheeler along with two other deliveries, and I was worried about how Jeff would get the building to the spot we wanted it, under heavy oak trees and up a rocky road quite a ways away from where the truck had to park. Jeff wasn't worried at all, and I took comfort in how he accessed the situation and took charge from there. He has a nifty little machine to move buildings into really tight spots, controlled by remote! It was actually pretty cool to watch! The entire time Jeff seemed calm and unbothered by our gasps and then sighs as he maneuvered under and around our beautiful oaks. Then he had to place the building as close to a buried septic line as possible without breaking the underground pipes. NO PROBLEM. Very impressive skills with that little machine! After the delivery and setup was complete, we inspected the building. Top notch craftsmanship! All the edges are squared and the joints are nice and tight and it is one solid building! Before he left Jeff put a level to everything one last time. All in all, should we ever need another building, and should our friends and family ever need a building, we'll all be traveling back to Simpco!!

But then the plants in my raised beds died as sprinkler…read moresystem they put in was set to water incorrectly in front and back yard as well as rest of yard. BUT the real issue that turned me against them is my post oak 350 years old dropped all its leaves. I asked 3 different landscape companies and they all said you do not put weed control screening under the canopy of a post oak which is also what the arborist said when he came to try to save the tree. The arborist said they suffocated the tree then drown it by their sprinkler system and by the lack of proper grading so the water would run off or put in French drains. I contacted Anderson and they have done zero to offset the cost of my loss. I have spent over $5,000 on having the tree removed and over $3500 on changing sprinkler system and removing and adding new plants. I have asked them 3-4 times and they never once apologized or accepted any responsibility or offered a reason as to why what they did was okay.
