The entire family staff is so kind, and they'll even be so gracious as to allow me to practice my ancestral Italian language skills-- which are sadly deficient and in need of constant correction-- while shopping. I learn so much in each of my unofficial lessons when I visit, and I'm deeply grateful to the family for this kind help. I couldn't imagine a more gracious and thoughtful nor a more warm and more kind group of people to create an old fashioned and welcoming environment in the market. Franco, Donatella, and Fiammetta always treat me with such kindness. And in addition of course there are very knowledgeable about the wines and fine liqueurs which are sold there at reasonable prices. I left yesterday with two bottles of wine from my ancient homeland in Sicily and Basilicata and a bottle of Amaro that comes from my grandfather's province of Calabria. I was at the DMV for at least three hours and my number was four away in the "G" category which…read moremeans it would've been called within 15 minutes. At that point a clerk announces the credit card machine is down so cash or check only. Unfortunately I did not have the amount of cash necessary and who carries a checkbook anymore? I did a search for the closest market and was happy to see Larry's liquor and & jr market was right across the street. By the time I figured that out and made my way there, the line was already 10 deep to the ATM. My review is about the clerk at Larry's liquor and Junior market. He was kind to everyone and even went out of his way to help a man that was having difficulty with his card being read. Then he showed me the right way to put my card in as well making it a faster process for the other people waiting in line. Several people that came in would ask about getting cash back with purchase and he was very patient and kind with each one, apologetic that they did not give cashback. I can certainly understand that policy seeing as the credit card machine at the DMV went down twice while I was there and apparently this is a regular occurrence. The clerk even explained how the letters work at the DMV! I apologize I did not catch his name. This clerks professionalism, patience and kindness made me want to patronize the establishment in the future. Lord knows with the DMV experience, I certainly would have liked to at the moment but I don't think it would've been a good idea to go back to the DMV with a bottle! ;-) When I have more time I will go back to Larry's liquor and Jr market. The wall displays were very nice and the store was clean and they had some unique items that I think worth going back to check out.

Made a complaint with the state about it and it's against the law to do so and when I asked why he added 50 cents to my $4.35 bill he said oh we do that for all credit card transactions.
