Cute shack to drop by for some good bagels and coffee! Parking is limited but service was quick and friendly. We got cafe latte, mocha latte, and ham & cheese bagel on Asiago bagel and they were all delicious! The bagel was hot and came with a slice of pickle and chips with Asiago cheese on them.

Fresh authentic bagels with an ocean view! The counter staff is friendly and helpful!

Used to love this spot but it has gone totally downhill. Bagel was hard and tasted old. Cream cheese on it was runny like liquid. The "fresh squeezed" OJ was definitely not. Tasted straight from the carton. Huge disappointment. After years of coming here I won't be back. Very sad.

The OG local bagel spot that started above T street in SC. I know there are a few locations but nothing compares to the OG. Surf T street, head to Bagel Shack, wait in the line that's present every waking hour it's open and order. I always get a large coffee which is surprisingly and solid cup. My youngest and my surf partner love's an OJ and 2 cinnamon bagels toasted with butter. I love seeing all the SC locals hanging enjoying their morning. Such a local gem that I hope never changes.

Cute bagel shack, they have gluten free as well. Lots of choices, I had eggs, cheese, bacon and avocado, which was really good! They have smoothies, coffee, pretty much everything for a nice breakfast or lunch. Been here a couple of times now, had not disappointed.

Bagels that rival those of NYC! Like, forreal. These bagels are legit. A jalapeno cheddar bagel where the cheddar is still stretching. The workers were awesome, and the vibes are insane. A little rustic, beachy, and every bit homey. I got a bagel with steak, egg, and peppers. With the jalapeno it was a bit spicy, and absolutely beautiful. Bursting with flavor, and plenty of substance to fuel you for a surf session The place was packed every time i walked by. Definitely a popular community spot--and for good reason!

I've been to the San Juan location(s) many times over the years, but this was my first time at the SC location. This is the best Lowers bagel sandwich I've had yet. The everything bagel was sooo fresh and chewy (in the best way iykyk). The egg, cheese, bacon and avocado were also super fresh and perfectly cooked. Only downside of this spot is the parking in the back as it's small and will fill up quickly (especially on the weekends). It's a little pricey too, but well worth it. Portions are solid. Owner is typically present. Customer service is solid too, especially considering it's mostly young adults working. Patio seating to enjoy the gorgeous SC weather plus a little indoors as well. Definitely worth it to visit if you're a bagel person. Smoothies are phenomenal too

This place was fantastic. It's a little island vibe bagel shack. Apple named for what you get. Nothing fancy about this joint. Ordered two plain bagels, just toasted with cream cheese for my kids. For myself, I ordered an onion bagel with cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños. Toasted. The order came out relatively fast despite there being several people in front of us they get through it pretty quickly. Overall, my order cost just under $18. I think that's probably a little pricey on my eyes for a bagel, but maybe I'm out of touch because I didn't wat at a lot of bagel shops. Either way, it was delicious. My bagel was crispy and almost baguette, Ish and the texture. It was light and not heavy like a chunk of lead in my stomach. I could've used a little bit more cream cheese, but they were very generous with the bacon as well as the jalapeño. My plan was only to eat half of my sandwich, but it was so damn good. I couldn't put it down. Anyone who has eaten iAll About the Bread this bagel has a very similar texture to it. Especially on the outside. Super glad I found the spot and on my weekly drives to and from Del Mar. I know exactly where I'm stopping for breakfast.

Small little shop with lots of options. Drinks and food. Quick service too. Lox bagel, superb.

I wish there was some kind of bag or seal on my delivery order.

I was totally shocked at Bagel Shack today! I think it's under new management, and it felt more like a snack bar or place you'd find at the beach. All the food is the same, but the service and state of the restaurant is not. It was super busy, but there was trash all over the floor (maybe they need more staff). It doesn't seem like they ever wipe up the tables, there was bird poop on the chairs and I felt like I needed a shower after seeing the bathroom. It honestly was pretty shocking. I think if The Bagel Shack put in even a couple small changes, new tables and chairs being #1, I'd want to come here more often. They do have a great menu, but with there being so many great restaurants nearby, I think them putting in a little extra work and customer service, that would go a long way.

I really like going to the bagel shack! They are decently priced - about f5 dollars for a bagel with cream cheese and about 8 for a hot breakfast sandwich with eggs. I had the Maui Malibu with guacamole and with sliced Avocado, onions, and green chili. Amazing on multigrain bread. You order at the front counter and pick up from the kitchen , no tips expected. This location is close to the San Clemente Pier.

All items I tasted at our table were delicious. I had the daily special halibut and pasta. The pasta with white wine sauce was awesome but the halibut was overcooked to my desires. The bread bowl that arrived alongside the chowder worked well to soak up the pasta's sauce. They didn't offer a traditional calamari for appetizers but they offered a very tender steak of calamari into a sandwich that was great. The fish tacos were good, but just that. Service was good but, perhaps it's policy to not refill glasses of water, tea or soda. I was dry by the time we had finished. The deck outside was pleasant except I made a comment to our table that "this has to be the only patio that is louder than inside". The staff clanked and clunked every dish, table setting and chair. It was very loud and occasionally startling. The deck was made from wood planks and the sound of the chairs being adjusted brought back undesired military memories. And the birds (pigeons mostly) will take off and land without warning and scare just about everyone. Otherwise a great place to get your fish on. CritDicks

I wish I did sooner! I past by this place on my way to work every day. Literally. Its on route for me and I never thought to myself to eat breakfast here nor check it out, I know on the days when I head back home it's always pack and people be waiting for a table. And that's on a sunny day. Well I was wrong for thinking oh it wouldn't be crowded on a rainy day. NOPE. I was sooooo wrong. It was PACKED and busy. Ain't even the rain gonna stop people to get some good food. What supposed to be a long day at work, tournament was cancelled last minutes and my staff was really bummed because we did travel to work. (I work two jobs and the other is a bit of commute to get to) so with that I was thinking, heck, it's still early in the morning (7am on sunday, a rainy sunday) and suggested breakfast. A bit of yelp search, i stumbled on Antoine's and saw a couple of Elites reviewed and ask my staff if they wanted to eat here. Took less than a couple of second but everyone agreed. By the time we got there (around 10am) it was packed and the rain was just picking up because before we got here, the car in front of us hydroplane and skid off the road and hit the curb. Yet, this place was still pack and parking was full. (We found street parking near Starbucks) I had my staff placed our name down since she lives closer, but they won't see you until all your party is here and that's fine. We ended up seating at the bar and left the booth for other parties. Love the teamwork, the staff were super stars doing a rush like that, let me tell you it PACKED HOUSE and we got our food and drinks on time, no one in my party had to wait to eat and I forgot to take pictures of my staff meals, only took mines and what I got for the table to share was a croissant french toast, which I believe was their special of the day. I got the chicken fried steak and the portion are MASSIVE!!! All of us took our food home because the portion size are insanely big and bang for the buck!! Great place to eat breakfast or brunch or even a 'Team Building Breakfast Time' LOL Just happy to treating out my amazing staff on their work. I will be coming back again to try out their lox bagels and chai tea. (It was in a massive cup that reminds me of the show FRIENDS.)

The vibe is very much your classic neighborhood café not super modern or trendy, but more homey, cozy, and family-friendly. It really feels like the kind of spot that locals go to all the time. We ordered the Nutella crêpe, the biscuits and gravy (which came with sausage and hash browns), and an omelet filled with goat cheese, turkey, and spinach. Everything was delicious. The portions were solid and the quality was really great. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Pricing is pretty average, around $16 to $23 depending on what you order but for the quality and portion sizes, it's definitely worth it. Overall, I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in San Clemente and looking for a casual, cozy breakfast spot to start your morning.
