Cute little breakfast spot. We walked from our hotel. Cute decor, like a tiki hut. Service was friendly. They had a lot of people working on a busy Sunday morning. The bagel sandwich we ordered was very dry. I didn't realize that they don't even put butter on their bagel sandwiches so we bought a side of cream cheese after. That solved the problem. We also had 2 different blended drinks that they didn't label. They looked & tasted exactly the same. Not sure why?! But they were decent. I'd return again.

I actually love this place, it's the perfect beachside bagel and sandwich spot. Love the surfer feel of the place. The bagel sandwiches are great, I get a BLT every time I go. Great coffee too! Would reccomend

This is the kind of bagel sandwich I want. Chewy bagel, fluffy eggs, and a solid menu of options in terms of meat/cheese/veggies I went with the Baja + jalapeño cream cheese. Wish there was slightly more onion but it came out quick, hot and well constructed. Would order again. With a medium hot coffee it was around $12 total Decent amount of seating, mostly outside tables. Small parking lot but street parking is easy. A solid mix of in person and pick up orders.

Cute shack to drop by for some good bagels and coffee! Parking is limited but service was quick and friendly. We got cafe latte, mocha latte, and ham & cheese bagel on Asiago bagel and they were all delicious! The bagel was hot and came with a slice of pickle and chips with Asiago cheese on them.

The OG local bagel spot that started above T street in SC. I know there are a few locations but nothing compares to the OG. Surf T street, head to Bagel Shack, wait in the line that's present every waking hour it's open and order. I always get a large coffee which is surprisingly and solid cup. My youngest and my surf partner love's an OJ and 2 cinnamon bagels toasted with butter. I love seeing all the SC locals hanging enjoying their morning. Such a local gem that I hope never changes.

First visit was a winner . Jalapeño cheese bagel with cream cheese, tomato and lemon pepper! . My car will now veer off the freeway whenever I'm in the Bagel Shack zone

Bagels that rival those of NYC! Like, forreal. These bagels are legit. A jalapeno cheddar bagel where the cheddar is still stretching. The workers were awesome, and the vibes are insane. A little rustic, beachy, and every bit homey. I got a bagel with steak, egg, and peppers. With the jalapeno it was a bit spicy, and absolutely beautiful. Bursting with flavor, and plenty of substance to fuel you for a surf session The place was packed every time i walked by. Definitely a popular community spot--and for good reason!

Bagels were so good. Got the blueberry bagel with cream cheese and the lowers on a jalapeño cheese bagel. Both super good. Food came out within minutes. Coffees were pretty good as well.

This place was fantastic. It's a little island vibe bagel shack. Apple named for what you get. Nothing fancy about this joint. Ordered two plain bagels, just toasted with cream cheese for my kids. For myself, I ordered an onion bagel with cream cheese, bacon, jalapeños. Toasted. The order came out relatively fast despite there being several people in front of us they get through it pretty quickly. Overall, my order cost just under $18. I think that's probably a little pricey on my eyes for a bagel, but maybe I'm out of touch because I didn't wat at a lot of bagel shops. Either way, it was delicious. My bagel was crispy and almost baguette, Ish and the texture. It was light and not heavy like a chunk of lead in my stomach. I could've used a little bit more cream cheese, but they were very generous with the bacon as well as the jalapeño. My plan was only to eat half of my sandwich, but it was so damn good. I couldn't put it down. Anyone who has eaten iAll About the Bread this bagel has a very similar texture to it. Especially on the outside. Super glad I found the spot and on my weekly drives to and from Del Mar. I know exactly where I'm stopping for breakfast.

Don't let the Polynesian feel fool ya, this is where locals go for their bagels and coffee. Very So-Cal vibe. Bagel texture reminded me of Einstein. Caramel iced latte hit the spot. Solid.

Cute bagel shack, they have gluten free as well. Lots of choices, I had eggs, cheese, bacon and avocado, which was really good! They have smoothies, coffee, pretty much everything for a nice breakfast or lunch. Been here a couple of times now, had not disappointed.

I wish there was some kind of bag or seal on my delivery order.

I was totally shocked at Bagel Shack today! I think it's under new management, and it felt more like a snack bar or place you'd find at the beach. All the food is the same, but the service and state of the restaurant is not. It was super busy, but there was trash all over the floor (maybe they need more staff). It doesn't seem like they ever wipe up the tables, there was bird poop on the chairs and I felt like I needed a shower after seeing the bathroom. It honestly was pretty shocking. I think if The Bagel Shack put in even a couple small changes, new tables and chairs being #1, I'd want to come here more often. They do have a great menu, but with there being so many great restaurants nearby, I think them putting in a little extra work and customer service, that would go a long way.

Wow. The everything bagels here are unbelievable. Well-seasoned, soft, and not too dry. I got the Malibu sandwich and my wife got the Lowers. Bummed we don't live closer to San Clemente, but we will definitely be stopping by next time we head up the 5.

Secondly, the service was the most amazing service, I had my whole entire week in San Clemente. All the ladies who helped us were so kind and friendly! This service made me come back 3 times in total, to enjoy the food and views. My last day in town, I spoke with the wait staff and let them know what a great job they are doing; They were friendly and so grateful. The food was delicious and so delightful. The chicken sandwich had roasted chicken with bacon and a delicious aïoli. That was honestly such a good mix. The brioche bread they put the chicken on was fluffy and flavorful. My daughters got a Nutella crêpe and berries and cream crêpe. Both were delicious and a good portion size. Their sourdough toast with jam was a favorite of ours, we got it every single time we went. I cannot wait to come back and try maybe one of their delicious salads or maybe Hardy breakfast! Definitely a top-tier restaurant. I must try!

Foodwise, well, I have yet to find a place in the OC that does crepes well. I ordered a mushroom and spinach breakfast crepe ($13), but it turned out to be more like an omelette wrapped in a thick crepe, with some sauce on top. Maybe the dessert crepes are the way to go. If you're thinking about ordering one of the crepes with eggs in it, you might just want to opt for an omelette instead. Prices are pretty decent, considering the location. Service was good. We were still there when they were about to close and did not get chased out (we left before they actually closed). Metered street parking and public parking lot nearby.

I see the ratings on this place and I wonder why? We ordered two steak plates; one Steak and eggs cooked rare and another steak and frites cooked medium. They were both terrible. I bagged up the steaks for my dog and headed out disappointed. For 62$ I wish I could say I was full and satisfied but I'm unfortunately not. Just lacking overall in taste. The breakfast potatoes tasted like free potatoes from a motel breakfast and the side salad with the steak frites just had a red vinaigrette dressing on Roman lettuce, no character at all. If you just want mimosas I guess this is a good place for that, they had a range in flavors from original orange juice to blueberry. But I recommend saving your money and cooking breakfast/lunch at home. The two stars are for the service! Food, no stars! 0 **They also have no ranch or A1 So I expected the steak to be on point....
