I have used several tree services over the years, and while I have had good experiences with all of them, none have been as efficient, professional, and impressive as Witkowski & Sons. The crew today consisted of Joe, the leader, along with Abel and Willy. From the moment they arrived, they were friendly, professional, courteous, and extremely careful--especially around my septic fields, which was very important to me. I watched them from my window, and I couldn't get over how hard they worked--and yet they made it look almost effortless. They worked as a team, knew exactly what they were doing, and took great care with my property. When they were finished, everything was cleaned up beautifully. My only advice to anyone considering Witkowski & Sons is this: If you have to wait for them, they are absolutely worth the wait. I will definitely be calling them again in the future. In fact, I already want them back to do some light pruning of several rare ornamental trees in the front of my property. I trust them completely with my trees and my property. And a special word about Joe: he is stellar. His work ethic, professionalism, politeness, and genuinely friendly manner make him a tremendous asset to the company. He told me Tiffanie would reach back out to schedule. In the meantime, I arranged for the deep-root fertilizing. After more than a week passed and I had not heard back from Tiffanie, I reached out. My message went completely unanswered. So, I was ghosted by this company. I don't waste other people's time, and I take exception when other's waste mine. It's a total lack of professionalism and common courtesy. Moreover, it's a hell of a way [not] to run a business! I see from reading through other reviews on here that I'm not the first and only customer to complain of this specific issue with this company. Beware! They will steal YOUR time! Update 6/7/26: They just proved my point by responding to this review 10 months after it was posted. It would seem that timeliness escapes these folks at every turn. Too bad their recall of the facts faded so much with the passage of time! I left my original review after a week elapsed between my reaching out via phone and text to both Tiffanie and John. The following morning at the start of business, Tiffanie began psycho-calling and texting me, leaving hysterical voice messages and sending repeated texts. Suddenly, she had plenty of time on her hands. I was forced to block their numbers in order to stop the harassment and to be able to continue with my own business day.

Showing up when he said he was going to, and keeping us apprised through each part of the job. The job was to remove a rather significant oak tree hanging over my house. Ivan and his crew were able to take the tree down with no difficulty. It was truly a sight to watch the climber bring down each part of the tree in the exact area they wanted, especially considering there was a very narrow area to drop. Ivan also took down a large storm-damaged oak in my neighbors yard, and my neighbor was equally impressed with Treeline. After the tree work was finished, Treeline actually addressed the lawn, which was obviously impacted by the work being done. They laid topsoil, seed, and hay to ensure that my yard will look as though they were never there. That is a first for me in dealing with a tree company! I completely endorse and recommend Ivan and his Treeline crew for any tree work that is needed. Their prices are reasonable, though you get so much more than you pay for!

I found Lawn Monkey online and they had many high ratings. Jeff was timely, friendly, and professional, came each time when he said he would. Now as far as the lawn goes, they did a great job cleaning up all the leaves scattered about, cut down part of an overgrown tree and moved the large logs, weeded my front and backyard near the house, trimmed the bushes in front so they look less ridiculous, and cleared everything out by our tree line. It looks SO much better now. I'm very happy with the job they did and would definitely recommend them to my friends in the area or on the shoreline.

They did stopped but then took off when I asked them, why, if they had a problem with low wires coming into this neighbor would they choose to use the same path to leave? They just took off. My husband and I have use Cockaponset Tree Service in the past and recommended them to several other people. I won't be using them or recommending them again.
