I love across the country and couldn't be there for my mom's birthday. She loves purple and hates filler flowers and excessive greenery, so I thought the arrangement pictured would be perfect. I was VERY disappointed when she shared the result with me. I contacted Grove Gardens via email to give them a chance to make it right but never heard back. I order my mom flowers twice a year and they just lost my business. Also I am one of 4 sisters that live all over the country. Grove Gardens lost the business of our entire family of 6. All it would have taken was an email reply to me and a delivery of additional purple flowers to my mom and they would have kept our business. Too bad. I guess I'll try Big Y next time. Lousy service. Came out to our home and provided an estimated quote. Told us they would be able to do the job soon as they "weren't too busy" at the moment. Then they never showed and never responded to my follow-up call (10 days later) to inquire when we could expect them. Discourteous, unreliable and unprofessional company. read more

We moved into our house in 2015 with a "yard" that pretty much looked like an evergreen forest. With little kids, we want to make it into a true yard. We've worked with Grove Gardens over the past year to take down 30+ trees, excavate the land by removing stumps and rocks, tear down our old deck and build a bluestone patio, and tear out the many pavers in the front yard to replace with grass. Their service has been impeccable. Our yard is finally a place where our kids can play and where we can entertain outside. We love the work that has been done and can't recommend the company enough. The pictures are mostly in progress because we are still working on the yard and excited for the grass to grow in more. We can't wait for summer. read more

I have had several jobs done by Grove Gardens. Always very happy with the quality of the work, materials, and I know the owner stands behind each job. I have had Belgium block around all my landscapes as well as replacing mulch with stone. On areas further from the house I had mulch placed. Not the kind that rots away and grows fungus within 1 season like other mulch I have bought from others in the past. This stuff is good. read more

I arranged to have them come out to reseed my front yard. Called earlier in the week (Tuesday) to confirm appointment on Friday for 10am. 11:30 came, they hadn't arrived. Called and left 2 messages that day...no reply. Called Monday of following week and got an answering machine. Finally reached someone Tuesday afternoon. They said they cancelled due to impending monsoon rains (neither forecast or happened) and pushed me back to this Friday. This is a very poor way to run a business...to not show up and not even contact the customer. I'm thinking I never would have known about the new appointment if I hadn't finally reached someone. So I told them they were fired from this job and its too late in the season to find another contractor to reseed my yard. DO NOT USE THEM, YOU MAY REGRET IT. Beware, no BBB rating either! read more

Shortly after moving to a new home, we contacted Grove Gardens Landscaping. We wanted several jobs done in the yard including weeding the landscaping around the house, pruning bushes, mulching, adding fill to low spots in the lawn, reseeding sections of the lawn, and trimming trees. Gary came to the house, walked the yard with us, talked over the job, and gave us a quote. We agreed to the work and within the timeframe we were given, a crew showed up at the house to do the work. The men who came were all friendly and got right to work. Within a week the work was completed and the yard looked great. When we noticed one small area of the lawn that had been missed with the reseeding, someone came right out and took care of it. We are very happy with the work done. read more

I called Grove Gardens landscaping in spring of 2013 for a spring clean up. Gary came out to give me an estimate. We agreed upon the work that should be done and the price. The workers came WEEKS later and did half the job. We called and they came back and finished the job. Then we got the invoices which totaled more than $150 over the agreed upon price. I made multiple phone calls and spoke to receptionist, and told every time Gary would get back to me. It in now May 2014, and they call me for payment, I explain the situation and they say, "Gary will get back to me". We've now had the same conversation 8 times with no resolution. read more

The failed to complete the landscaping work that was agreed on. There are roots sticking up from the land that was to have been cleared of all roots to prepare for the new lawn. There are stones in the topsoil. Yet to be known how the grass seed will grow in Not very focused on attention to detail.They delivered three yards of topsoil in their dump truck and ripped out the grass because the driver failed to stay on the driveway. The final price for the landscaping was more than stated.Gary was condescending and insulting when I called to dispute the bill. Had lower quotes from other reputable companies. I have purchased bushes, trees, flowers, mulch and other items there spending a considerable amount of money. Regret using Grove Gardens and due to the manner in which I was treated I will never shop there again! read more

Beautiful landscaping job just completed at my home by Gove Gardens Landscaping from Clinton. Gary Bousquet, the owner and landscape designer, has a keen eye for detail and helped me organize my thoughts on design and plantings while staying within a reasonable budget. On the day work began on my property the landscaper and his workers had to work in direct sweltering sunshine and did not utter one word of complaint. The landscaper, Bill who has 33 years landscape experience, and assistants Johnny and Nate have strong work ethics and are very pleasant, courteous and kind. The office manager, Ashley, is pleasant and responsive, working always towards complete customer satisfaction. Early negative reviews on Yelp do not reflect today's good service. Those reviews were written years ago when the company was just starting out under new ownership. The garden border to my new patio and tree planting's really look great.
