I put up with pixelized over the air broadcast for over a year using an amplified indoor antenna. Finally decided to go with an outdoor HD roof-mounted antenna. Mario was on time, very professional, did a FANTASTIC job on the installation, and I am 100% satisfied with the install and performance of the antenna. Even my wife (who is very much OCD) is glad we went with the roof mounted antenna. The reception is way better than I hoped for, and we get nearly twice as many broadcast channels as we did with the amplified indoor antenna. We ran the antenna cable to our HD HomeRun DVR box which uses our router to send the broadcast station signals to our iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and 5 TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks. I have been sick of Cox expensive TV for so long and finally did it! I bought a $20 digital antenna and a Tablo (streaming & DVR device)from Amazon, $165. I hooked it up to a 4gb hard drive I was not using and "Poof", no more $100 per month TV bills and I now had a 4gb DVR which is good for thousands of hours of recorded shows. I ditched my cable tv and landline phone through Cox last fall. I didn't really miss them at all EXCEPT that I could not get the three PBS stations live anymore. The other main local channels were available on Hulu Plus, but not PBS. Hi, dear AZ neighbors!. This is a sincere recommendation based on recent, very successful experience with T.J. McGlynn of FreeHDTVAZ.com installing our roof HD TV Antenna. Since moving to far N.E. Scottsdale, last fall, I've tried finding someone to help us bring in the FREE Phoenix TV stations signals via an HD antenna. None of the indoor or outdoor antennas we bought at Best Buy or Amazon worked. I ended up calling the local Mr. Antenna franchise but was told they REFUSE to come out to our section of the Rio Verde Foothills (far NE corner) as we were considered "not candidates for a successful install". It was quite a frustrating problem, as there is no cable here nor did we want to sign up for very expensive satellite dish service (which everyone also wants to completely avoid, of course).
