Trying to get back to the front we had to shuffle by a birthday party (so odd that someone had floral centerpieces not only for a kids bday party but at this establishment!) It was loud. People everywhere. We found someone who spent a few minutes behind the counter and I had to follow him to get his attention. He easily accepted that we had a reservation. He walked us to the smash room spending 2 minutes explaining to us. No waivers. That was it! We had a Groupon for 2 people and a TV smash. The people before us left 1/3 of their smashables so they became ours! And they ket my husband jumo into the room as well, nonextra charge. Overall we got to do what we went for- smashing stuff! We spent about a half hour going to town, smashing and making a mess. We then just walked out, glancing one last time at the guy at the door, who may have found his wife, like it never happened. We played video games, but the person who's birthday party it was paid for it. My feelings on the games were mixed since the games on the Nintendo Switch were usually the FREE GAMES like Pokemon UNITE, or games that didn't interest me, like Mario driving games, or games I already had. The other consoles were busy, or didn't have games that interest me. So I thought that was STRANGE that this dude was PAYING so that everyone could play, but Pokemon UNITE is ACTUALLY FREE, not only on Switch, but on smartphones. The party was also rather short, and I only got 1 bottle of water. [I don't think this has anything to do with the business, and more to do with the ones throwing the party.] The people working there seemed nice, cheerful, helpful, and knowledgeable. I saw the YouTube video of the guy looking for a Morton Koopa junior plush only to see they had one and it was not for sale. Well they restocked Morton so I got one My wife bought me a very nice and glossy looking Super Mario bros 3 sign for me to hang in "The Dave Cave" All in All it was an excellent experience with a super chill and patient clerk. It's likely that those amenities operate when there is a crowd of spectators for an actual event. Since I'm not a member, I haven't tried the gym, but the sports layout is fantastic. I wish there were facilities like this in the Kingston-Plymouth area. For us this is a 60 mile trek several times a week!

The card was for Saturday night. Perfect! We scratched and it said see a race at the Seekonk Speedway. We are from the west coast and my husband is a car guy so this sounded like an awesome idea. This is a far cry from what we were expecting, but we had such a fun time. The speedway was packed! We had to park way out in the back lot in the grass. Tickets were for a special event trailer bashing or something. We walked around the whole area, grabbed snacks and found some seats by the family of one of the race car drivers. We got to learn all the rules of each different race and be included in the energy. It was so much more fun than I could have bargained for.
