Older van, with the seats placed as closely together as possible. Sitting in a middle row, my knees were pushed hard into the back of the seat in front of me. The upholstery was shot, I could really feel the metal framing on my butt and back, as well as pushing into my knees. It was a very uncomfortable ride, and at the start of a holiday weekend, it took over an hour of additional time dealing with traffic. They'll get you there, and at a reasonable price, but it will be a long tortuous experience. Booked a private premiere black for the return. Oh, my, what a difference. The SUV was new, extremely comfortable, an absolute pleasure. While, crammed into the van on the way up, I hardly noticed the scenery, on the way back it was a joy to be able to fully appreciate the mountains' beauty. If you can splurge for the private ride, do it. If it seems expensive and you're on the fence, do it. If you do decide on the shared shuttle, just know you'll be spending the time in purgatory. We will ONLY take the private option in the future. They do deserve credit, either way, for being very well organized. Customer service was great, everything ran like clockwork. For the private ride, they sent a text confirmation of the reservation the afternoon before, but nothing they day of; the driver simply showed up in front of the hotel at the arranged time. It would have eased our minds to have the driver at least text that they were on the way or that they had arrived. So how to rate the experience? Given their service was solid, and the private ride was so wonderful, so long as you know what to expect with the shared option, they do what they say they'll do. I just put as 4 to attract the reader's attention long enough to be sure they understand the shared option downsides.

At the time of our visit, parking was free in a large parking lot. The transit building has old, but clean restrooms. We parked here and walked up and down Main street sightseeing. A free trolley is available for transit to Main street. It is a circulator. The transit center also offer free city buses and regional bus service to surrounding cities.

When our travel plans changed Alexa was very responsive and understanding. All of my inquiries were addressed with an immediate response. We flew into CO for a week. Yesterday I got a call from my teen daughter, who was in Breckenridge visiting family friends. Realizing she was likely going to miss her flight, which was the last one of the day, we were both in a panic. I couldn't get in touch with an actual human at the service I had set up for her, so I began calling company after company with this absurd request-- for someone to pick up my daughter immediately. My luck finally changed when Nick answered the phone at Summit Express. Instead of the quick "no" I had heard from the first five companies I called, Nick put me on hold for a couple of minutes. He came back and asked if my daughter was ready now; he said they would pick her up in 14 minutes! I looked at Life360 less than 15 minutes after hanging up with Nick, and my girl was on the move, driving to DEN! Because of Nick and my daughter's driver, Jeffrey, she made her flight and wasn't stranded alone overnight in Denver. This morning, we were able to celebrate my mom's final day of chemotherapy/radiation in person with her, which would have not been possible if I didn't get so lucky as to find Summit Express and Nick.
