We even came back for a second round before the airport! Highly recommend adding this experience to your trip. We didn't catch anything but it was fun to diving, practice breathing techniques, and learning to shoot under water. Keoki is the best guide and human I think I've ever met on this planet. Mahalo!!!

Luckily it was just myself and one other participant, so it really felt like a private tour. I felt like I had plenty of time to ask questions about which fish we could shoot at and to get a better understanding of how the whole process works. Jonah also did a great job teaching us about breathing techniques and helping us to maximize breath retention in a way that was safe. Once we got in the water it was a total blast. In our case, both I and the other participant were experienced swimmers and comfortable in the water. I have to say I really appreciated that our guide gave us latitude to explore, dive deep, swim through archways underwater, etc. It was the real experience rather than having your hand held the entire time, though if one were to need more assistance I'm sure they'd be glad to give it. This really sparked a passion in me for underwater exploration and spearfishing.

After reading many rave reviews for Maui Dreams, I enrolled in the Rescue Diver class through their…read moreshop. I scheduled the class a few months in advance, and they even advertised it to recruit another student (after all, you can't rescue yourself!). I learned from the best--Kerri is a true expert in both diving and instruction. He is incredibly patient and explains concepts clearly. He took the time to answer all of our questions and really instilled the importance of dive safety--that anything can happen at any time, and you always need to stay aware, especially in and around the water. We practiced multiple real-life rescue scenarios in the water, which made the training feel practical and incredibly valuable. I learned so many important skills from Kerri--both ones I hope I never have to use and others that I will carry with me on every dive going forward. I look forward to diving with Kerri and the Maui Dreams crew the next time I'm on Maui!

When I moved here I went to Maui Dreams and they fitted one that worked perfectly until it was time to upgrade years later. I've done a few upgrades with them and all have worked out well. Sadly, the other day before a swim the strap on my mask broke. I swim twice a week so it was depressing. I went to MDD and told Chris the issue. He fixed my strap and sent me on my way to have an amazing swim. Truly one of the best managed companies on the islands. Please bring your biz to them as they are there to help. Whilst waiting for my mask about 3 associates made sure I was being helped. Much aloha Maui Dreams Dive!

My wife and I dove with him and two other gentlemen at Airport beach for a morning dive and Tim, as always, was extremely professional and courteous. He is very calm and ensures everyone is comfortable prior to diving and provides many tips and tricks both above and below the water. In fact, I have been using his secret de-fog formula since first diving with him in 2016, it is the best stuff ever and cheap and easy to make. Later in the week on this trip, I decided to take Tim up on an offer for a night dive in Kaanapali. This dive ranks as my favorite dive ever! We saw so much and Tim was an excellent guide as we navigated the darkness and was sure to point out every cool thing he saw underwater. I already knew Tim was an exceptional person, let alone a great scuba guide, but what really set him apart is how he treated my family prior to the night dive. My daughter is just shy of 10 and was very upset that she couldn't go as she wants to get certified too. Tim took the time to explain to her the process or getting certified and how he can't wait until we can all dive together. There is a very personal relationship when you dive with Tim, it's not all just business.
