Was told the ring would be ready on Wednesday, after your work stop by. I did. He was still working on the ring. I said well?? He told me he was very busy, and to come back next Monday. I said NO! I want my ring now. The band is a plain gold band. It was not straight--was slightly bent. I looked at it and said what the hell!! He said he was busy again. This guy is the worst jeweler I have ever seen.He said OK, drop it off on Friday, after work and pick it up on Monday after work. Oh, and make sure to take it to get appraised for insurance before you drop it off. I just got engaged--you could not have pried this ring off my cold dead hands!!! I got 4 messages on my home answering machine to remind me to drop the ring off on Friday, after work. I DID NOT! On Monday, I drove thru the shopping center he was in at that time, Plainsboro. I was going to the grocery store there. I slammed on my brakes and looked at the Mark Pratico Jewelry store--IT WAS EMPTY. Nothing but an empty store. OUT OF BUSINESS! I brought it back to the store and got a new battery. However this did not fix the problem. I went back to the store for an exchange. They found another watch and had it shipped to the store. I had to return to the store to pick it up. After a few weeks, the same Diesel watch (watch #2) exhibited the same problem. I returned to the store again. However, I wanted to return it. They said NO. They did NOT CARE that it was defective. They DID NOT CARE that I went to their store 5 times in an attempt to fix the problem. Simply, they DO NOT CARE. STAY AWAY if you want to buy a watch or piece of jewelry, especially if it is expensive. Do you want to risk not being able to return an expensive defective product? The manager was unprofessional when I asked her how she would feel if she could not return a defective product (at any type of store), and her response was that I am not a "returner"....give me a break. We were married in March - the ring is one whole size too big - the lady asked me if I lost weight since then - the answer was no. We asked if we could be re sized for free - they said no , and instead of charging near the initial sizing fee of $60+ - it was $179. The whole ring itself was $450 , so why in the name of Jared would I pay that much to have it sized again. I'll never go there again - and I might add this review to every possible review site that I am able to. Now I have to pawn my ring before I lose it in the toilet the next time I go to wipe.

I was wearing my ring which contains diamonds and an Alexandrite gem (ring by Mark Henry). Alexandrite is an expensive but hard to notice gem. :) It looks like a normal stone except it changes colors in the day/night light setting. A beautiful gem for those who want to spend a small fortune but not show it. Needless to say, I'd say they know their stuff from that alone. Wish I remembered her name. ^^' On another note, I actually bought two diamond rings on vacation (Marc Henry and LeVian) and stopped by to inquire about appraisals. They appraise it in front of you!
