Very disappointed with our recent maintenance visit from Summit Home Services. After servicing our…read morefirst-floor AC system, the technician performed maintenance on the second-floor unit. When the thermostat did not come back on, he diagnosed the breaker at the ceiling unit as defective and said nothing further could be done until it was replaced. Based on that diagnosis, I called my electrician, who replaced the breaker. The unit still did not operate, and the electrician confirmed that power was passing through correctly. He also tested the original breaker and found that it had continuity and was fully operational. After we contacted Summit's office, the technician returned approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours later. He was in the ceiling for less than a minute before stating that the actual problem was a reset The incorrect diagnosis resulted in an unnecessary electrician visit, breaker replacement, additional expense, and considerable inconvenience. We expected a more thorough evaluation--especially checking the condensate pump--before being told that an electrical component had failed. We have contacted Summit and are awaiting an explanation and an appropriate resolution.

We were impressed that Dyess responded within hours to the complaint that the toilet was leaking again already...and Rick resolved the problem, explained what happened and recommended we get a water softener as the root of the problem was disintegrating seals due to chlorine--he educated us on RO improving water and health and went above and beyond to ensure we wouldn't have any near term problems and suggested new toilets and an RO when our budget permits. This company is the absolute worst, they overcharge, waste your time, waste your money, have…read moreno respect for quality of work, they do not complete service, they claim things are fixed when they truly aren't, they will put temporary patches down just to have you call them back out and continue to tell you that it is your problem. I had Dyess air come out in June to fix my AC, the first service tech claimed he flushed a clog and all was well, 500$, the AC proceeded to fail again, the second individual came out claimed it was clogged and the first clog was never removed, proceeded to look at the capacitor and blew it up, 500$, third technician comes out to replace the capacitor and motro, 2750$, I have now had a fourt individual come out and take a look to tell me my dampener moto is old and failing and that that should have been discussed 3 visits prior, 129$, and now if I was to call and have the FIFTH individual come out to fix it it would cost me 1200$. So by my calculations it would be a grand total of 5080$ that this company has squeezed out of me in the past 70 days, not even 3 months later, Dyess air is the absolute most useless garbage company in the entirety of the Bluffton Savannah Beaufort area. This compan is criminal, worthless, garbage and should be shut down. Thank you and have worthless day Dyess, you beautifully lazy horrible people.
