Update: After 2 months of no response, but 1 day after sending SuperiorPlus corporate an online form requesting assistance, Kevin finally called. Never once did he (or anyone prior to) offer an apology for their mistake. His resolution to the problem was to pickup the tank. With gas inside it that I've paid for! That's it, no other solution. Notice Freeman Gas ratings are either a 1 star or a 5 star. Nothing in between. Which means things are fine until they aren't, and then you're on your own. Or they pay for 5 star reviews? Anyway I did find a direct number that will eventually call you back, 828-518-5765, not the corporate numbers on all their websites that never pick-up. read more

What's the purpose on the phone prompt of pressing "9" when reporting that you're out of gas and basically getting told to go kick rocks? I understand that the snow we got is pushing work back as I was told they didn't have any deliveries last Friday and this Monday. My frustration is if you have a customer calling to say their tank is on zero and your response is "there's a 10 day minimum waiting period", I feel they aren't putting any effort in helping the customer at all. I had to talk with someone from the Sylva office for someone to note on my ticket that my tank is on zero. Glad to know the franklin office leaves a family customer feeling hopeless. read more

We are new to the area and have never had to use propane. We recently installed a propane fireplace. The technicians ( I did not get their names unfortunately) that installed the new line to the fire place were efficient and so nice. My husband asked them to hide the bright yellow gas line and they did a great job. I can't hardly see it. After the inspection, Nathan and Earl came out to hook up the logs. They were so pleasant, they were respectful of my home and pets,and they went above and beyone putting the fireplace mantle back together and centered. I then had to go to the office where I met Holly and Jody and they were equally as friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. read more

How can this company leave an elderly disabled woman without heat for days when they paid the bill.Shame on them !!

I went in there on Aug 7 2017 to fill a gas BBQ tank. They dont man the pump ever, so you have to walk into the big store / display room and to the back where there is usually 2 gals at desks. You wait there until one looks up and acknowledges you and comes up to the counter to help you. So I buy a fill up an get a receipt. Somehow she signals a guy to go out and fill my tank. While he is walking out a big rented motor home comes rumbling up the driveway. My tank is sitting right in front of the pump, and he was sent out to fill it. Yet he goes over to the big motor home and starts helping them. They are fiddling with some flaps trying to find the tank. The driver of the motor home says hey went you here first?? I said yes. He tells the guy to help me yet he keeps fiddling with the motor home. He tells him again to help me and he says nothing, makes some facial contortions that im sure neither of us watching could understand and then fills my tank. Doesnt say a word. So....you have a choice in Franklin! There are 3-4 other gas places in town . PLUS now that I have asked around I hear go to Tractor Supply ON Georgia Rd were you only pay for the gas they pump in which can make a big difference as theres usually a good amount still in there when it shows empty. A competing gas seller just a few blocks away even told me to go there! Its a bit farther but nothing is that far in Franklin and people, including me, will go to where they are treated RIGHT. read more

Good timely service more often than not and these folks fill your tank up. I have not had the best experiences with their competitor and in fact have waited for over an hour at their competitors for service. Of course no business offers service any better than their employees and every employer will from time to time have a problem with unreliable employees. This means that on any given day you might receive less than desirable service regardless of where you go. It is the case with Freeman though that they are nearly always reliable as well as friendly and I do believe that anyone who has done business with them more than once will tell you the same. read more

As a new customer we went into the Franklin store to pay our first bill. I asked the ladies about the charges. It seems we should not have been charged $35 to Light the Pilot and $25 for a PT Test so they removed those charges. When given the new total I asked if that was everything and I did pay my bill. The following morning, I get an email with a bill for $112 more for a safety check. Now that came as a shock because I was told that if they had to check the line it would be around $15 (that was on speaker phone at our house and my husband was in the room and heard the same). When I called the office the lady said that I must have been quoted $115. There is no way that we didn't hear the HUNDRED before the $15 or we would not have gone forward with this company. Another thing we asked to buy the tank and they said we can't because there is a shortage of tanks so we are forced to lease the tank from them that was already on our property when we purchased the house. read more
