My husband and I are SO BEYOND frustrated and getting angry with freeway insurance. We called and set up a policy and everything went smoothly until my husband got an alert from his bank stating that the insurance company debited his account twice for the same transaction (which was the start up fees). So I call back and the gentleman who set up our policy (Touby), apologized for the mistake and said give it 24 hrs to see the $476 refund in our account. NEVER HAPPENED. I called back 3 days later and spoke to AMANDA. She said it take 3 business days for accounting to send the funds back. I said ok, today is 3 days. She said "I'll email accounting and see why it's taking so long and I'll call you back, I'm here till 7:pm. Her I am 5 days after speaking to her, and still no money or call back. So today I spoke to (Michelle) who transferred me to (George) who also emailed accounting, and said that (Amanda) was wrong it take 7-10 days. who then gave me a wrong number to accounting. The number was in fact to their collection department where I spoke to (Marco) who then transferred me to (Lucero) in customer service. She also couldn't do anything for me. She said (George) was right. It takes 7-10 days. So I said, the money was supposed to be put back on 10/16, today is 10/24. YOU give me a date of when I'm supposed to see that money back into our accounts. She said,"I CAN'T do that mam because I don't know." I said you tell me based on 10 days when I'll see it. She said I don't know because it's going to be 7-10 days "AFTER" accounting approves it. ‍ oh my gosh!! SERIOUSLY!!!! I said well, my back didn't make them wait 7-10 days to release the money they double charged me for!!! She said she doesn't know! Such HORRIBLE customer service!! And after days of calling them back on words THEY spoke, they still can't transfer me to accounting or a supervisor. I'm so angry. Now my husband said that's bad business and we should cancel out policy and go somewhere, where they're willing fix their mistakes and not make us work so hard to get money back that the wrongfully took in the first place. I'm literally sitting in the parking lot of my heart doctor trying to fix their mistake. I guess getting angry isn't doing me any favors or gonna get me anywhere. DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE. PLEASE. I wish I went with Dairyland insurance. They were more expensive, but they have better service. Freeway insurance or Aspire insurance has been SO stressful to work with. I've had threats to cancel my policy, told that they won't cancel it, then told again that they will. They accept whatever info you give them when you sign up, and then AFTER come up with reasons why it's not good enough, and require you to jump through multiple hoops to prove certain information like getting letters notarized and requiring statements for utilities or rental agreements, which are impossible to get if you aren't the one paying for those things in your household, THEN they threaten to cancel the policy again. Dealing with them has been so anxiety inducing and stressful and maddening. Dealing with the aftermath of a DUI is bad enough, they make it exponentially worse. PLEASE do not give them your business or your peace of mind. I truly wish I went with a different insurance company. read more

This insurance is a fraud or the employees are doing the fraud I called to get insurance in my vehicle an payed $200 for first month an deposit which I agreed on. Here comes the fraud first they called me saying my payment never went through I gave them my card info for the second time. Which later on my bank statement showed they charged twice so basically I ended paying $400 which till this day they haven't resolved why Im getting charged twice. When my Dmv send me a letter about suspending my registration because my vehicle did not have insurance, I immediately called an they supposedly said they mistakenly wrote down the wrong vin number BS so I had a whole month insurance an deposit charged twice too the wrong car which they said they couldn't do nothing about a mistake they made. Once again BS someone is doing fraud be careful. I typically don't leave personalized reviews, but I have to say that Mike and Alex (office manager) were amazing! My husband was in need of insurance a few months back so, against my better judgement, he called a Freeway Insurance phone number and someone assisted him in finding a policy that fit our needs so we pay the money down to get it started up and the guy on the phone sends us on our way... fast forward a month and we're ready to make the first month's payment so we stop by the Stockdale office where Mike helps. First off, right off the bat he was very personable and had great customer service skills. After some phone calls, a lot of confusion, and almost 2 hours he let's us know that the original agent who helped us left our policy in the "quote" category (meaning for the full month we were NOT COVERED AT ALL by any insurance, leaving us and the company vulnerable had something happened in that time even though we did everything we were supposed to and paid everything we were supposed to). Mike makes a call to the office manager who has already left for the day and within 20 minutes she is in the office ready to take care of a problem that honestly isn't even their problem being that they did not get any commission as they were not the agent that wrote the business in the first place. After a some more phone calls and another hour and a half they get it all figured out to correct someone else's mistake. The entire time my husband and I never felt that we had to be frustrated with the situation or deal with any of the emotions that, naturally, you would have in this situation because we felt that these two employees fought this battle for us. I was in awe of their dedication to great customer service. What stuck out most to me is that the manager said she didn't care about not making money and spending hours getting our problem corrected because she would rather lose out on money than for us to have a bad exoerience with Freeway Insurance. THAT is someone that really cared about the company rather than just herself and I will send everyone I know to them because I respect their work ethic and commitment to their customers and the company they work for. read more
