I initially had a good experience at this location, but the service quality has declined significantly, and the office now operates with the same lack of accountability found in any poor customer service environment. Following a vehicle accident, I requested a policy cancellation from my agent, Steve. He explicitly promised to handle it and get back to me, but instead, he completely ghosted me. His failure to act in a timely manner resulted in me being charged for weeks for an insurance policy on a vehicle I could no longer use, causing me significant financial strain. I attempted to reach management at this specific location to rectify the situation, but those efforts were fruitless. I was only able to get the issue resolved after being connected to a different agent, Luis Alfonso de Santiago, who handled the task flawlessly and immediately. While I appreciate Luis's professionalism, the lack of accountability from the rest of the team and management in Azusa is unacceptable. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have never felt inclined to leave a review but after today I felt like I had to . I deal with insurances myself in my line of work so I know they can be tricky so it doesn't really come as a surprise but it is disappointing. I spoke with Jovan Rubio to get a policy it seemed like he was very nice and helpful over the phone and he helped me get a policy with Bluefire insurance. He explained to me that in order for me to get a policy with them I needed to pay $330 which I did. After this amount my monthly payment would be $102.66, fine. Well it's been a month now and I have now been billed on autopay 102.66, 3 times. I call bluefire and log into my portal with them just to find out that bluefire only saw $102.66 of the $330 I paid and that I needed to make a 20% payment of my plan within the first month which is why they charged me 3 times within the month. This was not explained to me by Jovan which the bluefire agent apologized to me profusely about. It should have been Jovans responsibility to explain the plan he was selling me. I understand that Jovan needed to make his commission hey, I get it but he was not honest with me. He told me that blue fire required the $330 to start and that after that payment I would only be billed once a month (another lie). He had various opportunities to explain to me since remember asking him twice"after this $330 payment I will only be billed $106 monthly correct?" Which he answer yes that is correct. I specifically asked him the same questions 3 times that to start my policy all I have to do is pay 240$ then it will go to just my monthly payment. I told him that on my paperwork it said that I will be charger another 176 a couple weeks later and he kept reaffirming me I will not have to pay that. Now my card is being charged for the 176. Freeway Insurance was not honest about my quote. They are not honest with what they tell you. They don't write notes and nothing is recorded. You have to ask them to send you something in and then when they are "working on it" they hang up. Then proceed as a supervisor not to put notes and has their other reps frantically trying to find who was the supervisor. Then when rep can't find supervisor I am told of a new amount due. This place is not honest and just took $161.51 and I woke up to no insurance and a balance. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Update: 9/19/19 Called customer service and broker states I don't owe money to insurance but I owe a broker fee of $125 which is a finders fee. Broker states the only way to waive this fee is if you would have cancelled with us on the day you started your policy. Ok so cancel on the day I paid for insurance to avoid broker finder fee? Ok whatever, ANYWAY, moral of the story: NO 3rd PARTY BROKER!! I'm going straight to an actual office. Saving time in this case is not always saving money. GO TO AN ACTAUL OFFICE!!! Zero, none, nada They have such way to lie , I called after a commercial saying no down payment, well I talk to a lady "jazmine" I told her I was looking for a quote for two trucks, both full coverage and $500 deductible, she ask me for my info she told me that my first payment cover the first and last mont ($106) and the others 10 months $72, I ask her if she was sure about it, she told me "it may change a little but not a lot" I went next day and we talk to sofia she gave me a different quote $154 a month $260 down payment and cover only the last month and with a $1000 of deductible. I told her why they told me a different thing over the phone, I walk out, she gave other quote $206 down payment and $122 month, in the car we think about it and went back, but when we talk again she just change again "that quote is just for liability " but if you need full cover is more. Ok. ?????? I'm confused already! Ok after she told me $209 down payment, I said what about the no down payment you say? Oh is not a down payment , but she was telling me $209 plus the first month. I wanted to add a salvage car to my exciting policy and she told me it was going to be $147 a month for my 2008 Honda Salvage ... wait did I mention SALVAGE, which in total I was going to pay $256 a month for all my cars and give them $100 down. I was like no no no why why why. Ooh she told me because is salvage and it's a danger in the streeet and is more newer than your other cars. So she tried looking for another quote which I was only going to pay $55 dollars but I had to give $300!down. So I told her no I'm going to another agency and harass me that if l don't do it know I was going to loose my opportunity of only paying $55 dollars a month. Wow this place went downhill, used to come here years ago to get great deals but recently my younger brother came in was asked for $300 down $70 a month for Liability only after haggling brought it down to $100 down after him trying to walk out the door. Then my GF called to get a quote, they offered $75 down $75 a month which we thought was good because her current insurance was $130 a month, we drive from L.A. after them calling her multiple times to come in. We get here and the best they could offer is $300 down and $126 a month! We asked why they wasted our time having us drive all the way over here with a misled quote and they had nothing to say. Came to freeway at 4:20 pm and there was only 1 person ahead of us. It's now 7:00pm and we are sitting here while she's on the phone getting step by step instructions on how to take care of us. I have insurance with this broker if you walk in to make a payment they will charge you 10 bucks extra for them to make your payment, if you're late on your car insurance like an example I was paying $168.00 for 2 full coverage cars, I walked in to the branch to make the payment and the $10 late payment fee to reinstate my insurance they were charging me $278 plus the 10 fee for the agent to process my payment, I told them off that morning I called the General insurance or my payment goes to and I only paid $177.00 with no penalty fees, freeway inc broker just wanted to get $100 from me and they like to rip you off so if I was you don't contact your broker go directly through insurance it will save you some big money in the long run. read more

Not only was i Greeted by a friendly, and professional staff who took care of me immediately. I was helped by Esmeralda Mejia, a very professional hands on worker. Esmeralda was not like most agents I've spoken to in the past, who just want your money, and don't bother to explain anything to you. She gave me the complete break down of how much I would be paying for each type of coverage, and exactly how I would be covered in the act of an accident.
