I purchased an auto insurance policy from Stonewood Insurance Services #GSP90261552-00 through Freeway Insurance on 2/19/2018. I had a policy with Geico (premium $310.00) which was pricey so I shopped with Freeway and was quoted by Marwa AlJanabi a lower premium of $282.00 for a policy with Stonewood. Freeway entered incorrect data on my daughter's age and driving years experience. I mentioned this to Freeway Insurance supervisor Delia Garcia and wanted it corrected because wrong information can render the policy void. Delia sent an email to Stonewood asking for the amendment to the Declaration. The policy yearly premiums with Freeway's mistakes came to $3,746.52. When I received the correction the amendment yearly premiums came to $4,479.52 a jump of $733.00. I called Stonewood Insurance and spoke with Caesar who stated that he understood my frustration after I stated that Freeways mistake amounted to insurance fraud. I switched insurance companies for a lower premium not an increase. Cesare directed me to speak with supervisor Brian (Stonewood Insurance). Who blew me off. He stated that he thought I only had a question and to have a nice day. I believe Freeway Insurance made a deliberate mistake in order to make a sell. The broker fee and first months insurance came to $574.00 on my American Express credit card. I will be moving forward with complaints with Consumer Affairs, California Department of Insurance, Federal Trade Commission and any other agency I feel needs to know I was deliberately defrauded into purchasing with Stonewood by a misquote in premiums. I would also like to point out that Freeway Insurance wasted over three hours of my time with this policy. Marwa AlJanab left Delia Garcia to finish the policy she started. Delia left me on hold numerous times for extended periods of time. She also stated there were technical difficulties sending me my email version of the Stonewood policy/contract. read more

I got Natalie and she was great. I could not be happier with the services but what really got me was her customer service. I can not say enough how someone has lost my business due to poor customer service. I originally called back in July to get a quote. But I was always so busy that i was not able to follow though. So I called again. I got someone else and I was not please with her. She told me that she was going to call me back in 30 mins and no call. I had to call them again. But I got Natalie and thank God I did.I was upset that I had to be the one to follow up that I really was going to just stick with my insurance that i have now. She won me back. Like i said... customer service. She worked hard. I believe we were on the phone for about an hour. I am currently not able to walk or stand for long so I was also worried about having to go to the office to finalize everything. But she helped me. she took my check information, let me take my time to find all that first, then she sent me my documents right away while still on the phone. Then she walked me through all the agreements via my tablet and I kept getting it wrong. But she was patient never rushed me and told me to take my time that she was there for me. We finally got it right. I am glad to have found something cheaper than what I was paying with Geico who also kept changing my due date. Which messed with all the rest of my payments I have to do as I live on a set income so it became a lot harder on me and my children. Anyways. Thanks Natalie we need more hard workers like you. Unfortunately people in customer service hardly ever get the credit they deserve. You are the first we the people speak to, you guys do a lot of the hard work. But the first to be forgotten. I called the office requesting to speak with my regular agent that usually helps me out. I was notified that she no longer works at that office. However Ana Ibarra kindly offered if she could help me. I honestly liked the fact that she acknowledged that I needed help immediately. I proceeded to tell her I needed to renew my policy, and told her my whole situation. I was driving for over a month without insurance without realizing it. Ana put me at ease by letting me know that she was going to do everything that was in her hands to help me out, and give me immediate coverage as well as notify the DMV that I had coverage in my vehicle. She explained to me several options I had as far as coverage and payment plans. The monthly payments are reasonable. The process over the phone did not take a long time, we took about 5 minutes. I liked the fact that I got my proof of Insurance literally seconds after completing the process through my email, she was on the phone guiding me where I needed to place my signatures and explaining exactly what I was signing for. This company is a literal scam. Over charge you. Misrepresent what your paying for. Don't contact you with problems. I signed on for a year contact with Infinity Insurance through them and was told that I paid the total amount upfront, something I was happy about seeing as I didn't want to worry about missed payments. This was all back in October. Earlier this week, I got a letter from the DMV saying my insurance had been cancelled and my registration was about to be suspended. Turns out, they horribly misrepresented what I was paying for charged me more and then never notified me that I needed to pay more. I never received any calls, emails, or even letters letting me know they were charging me more or that they were going to CANCEL MY INSURANCE. When I called they refused to reinstate my old insurance, give me any kind of refund, or contact the DMV to let them know I should have insurance right now. On top of this, they charged me over $300 to start my insurance, which I later found out only $90 were needed. The rest went to the broker. Never going back. Worst experience. read more

OMG! Such an excellent service with the customer service department!! So professional and always attentive. Please I invite people to join Freeway Ins. and of course read every single document you are signing before complaining. Dumb people don't read and just sign and after that they are baby crying for their money back; I have read few reviews for some customers regarding the same issue but I realized that they don't read the documents and everything is stipulated in them. I have read other reviews stating that the carrier has been taking money for months and they don't realize it after few months later or even years! I mean... how stupid! As a first time Driver I was very stressed with all the responsibilities that come with Owning a vehicle and Insurance is a big one. I went to multiple insurance companies for some quotes and all of them where really expensive and didn't fit in my budget then finally I saw a commercial for Freeway on television and told myself why not. Adela Reynolds answered and was really awesome and assuring that she would be able to help me find the best insurance and best price possible. I did a quick quote online when I was shopping around for new insurance and received a phone call from Steven Hanna. I already had another company I was pretty sure I was gonna go with but decided to see if they could give me a better deal. Steven was amazing over the phone, very friendly and helpful. He did everything he could to get me the best deal but I never felt like he was trying to pressure me. In the end we found an amazing deal and he threw in roadside assistance as well. I've dealt with terrible customer service with auto insurance in the past but this company is easy to reach and has amazing customer service. This place goes above what you will get elsewhere. My contract was canceled for non payment of 2nd 6 mo. Period due to being hospitolized for months. They happily arranged with the carrier to reactivate it with no problems or added expense and added roadside assistance for no extra charge. I had no wait time, they contacted DMV for me to update thier info and made appointment for me. Answered question with details and made every effert to make my confortable and It was a much better experience than several former experiences.
