It's not tourist friendly. It took me awhile to figure out how to use it. So did the gentleman before me. After inserting the credit card, the dispenser won't spit out the boarding card. It required other buttons pressed first. Getting here was a challenge because Google map doesn't have clear descriptions. It kept pointing me to the handicapped lot. I thought I had to park outside of this station, I almost parked at the city garage and feared it would close at certain time. The website to catch the train is essential. I went to https://www.bart.gov/schedules/eta/HAYW to get precise details about the boarding times. Me and my friend took BART to Embarcadero to see the ships at the piers. Being a frugal traveler, using public transportation is a must. So glad that BART can help me to achieve my goals.

There is zero security in the parking lot. Now, I catch the bus or Uber here, depending on if I'm in a hurry. I do like the Clipper Card only, which has been in effect for a while. They also upgraded the Bart fare gates, so the fare jumpers can't just jump over like they used too. The prices are still reasonable, way better, and quicker, than driving!!

I also use Uber to buy ferry tickets to Fire Island. I click on "Transit Tickets" "Buy Ticket" and then select which part of the island I want to visit. This July 4, I plan to go to the annual Drag Queen Invasion of Fire Island, so I will be selecting "Pines". The app has a Hotel Reservation feature that is found on the "Services" tab, but I won't be staying in the Pines overnight. It will be a "day trip" thing. Overall, I have had nothing but positive experiences with Uber in all the years that I have been using the service. I am one satisfied customer.
