I was there just to look around and see what the shop looked like. I was surprised to see that the shop was around 4'x16' rectangular glass enclosure that showed almost everything they had. There was an elder man and I suppose his wife that were smiling and waving us in when I opened the sliding glass doors. He was very nice and knowledgeable about his craft - telling me about some of the watches that I pointed to and even offered me great prices. Even though I told him I just wanted to see the place because of great reviews from others he still took time to tell me about an Omega I was fond of. When we left we left them smiling and went on our merry way. I like meeting good people - it doesn't happen that often anymore. Sigh. read more

Although the location is a bit hard to find, my experience at Fremont Watches was excellent. The jeweler that owns the shop was very nice & professional & welcoming. He replaced my battery to my watch, cleaned it & checked the movement & said everything looked good. The nice gentlemen was efficient & I could tell he knew his stuff. Can't say enough great things about Saad! Somehow, I managed to lose the crown from my beloved Rolex Milgauss. He had the part and could do it while I waited ... till he pulled the bracelet off and immediately noticed there was something wonky with the movement. Pulled off the back and Faraday Cage (the coolest feature of the Milgauss) and confirmed there was a small bit of damage that was interfering with the rotor. He quoted an extremely fair price for fixing the crown, the movement AND a polish and told me about a week. This all sounded good to me! Not quite a week later; got the call it was ready. Rushed down to pick it up and ... just wow. I'm rarely at a loss for words but he made my 8 year old Milgauss I wear literally every day look practically brand new. Photos just don't do it justice. Of course, repairs were expertly done and he took the time to pull it apart to show me everything working as it should. Saad's incredibly friendly and does expert work for very fair prices. Needed a watch overhaul on my Aquanautic. I was quoted $450 by another highly rated shop in town that would not negotiate. I showed him the watch and he quoted me over 20% less. Needless to say, I left the watch with him for the overhaul. A week later it was finished and working perfectly. Also, the strap I had was broken and missing many pieces. He didn't want me to leave without a strap, so he pulled one out that matched, spent a few minutes making sure it would fit properly, and gave it to me for NO CHARGE!
