She yanked my feet and calves several times, told me I was not paying attention (I was talking to my partner), and was just overall unpleasant. I've went to this salon twice now , and I can most definitely recommend their services. I LOVE LOVE LOVE COMING HERE! First and foremost, the nail technician Anna has done my acrylic manicure with both finesse and meticulous precision. The first time I went to the salon I had a set from another salon and needed a fill. Since it was my first time going here, I played it safe and got French tips. But since the base color of the acrylic was different, Anna tried out every acrylic shade that was close to the original shade. She wanted to get as close to the shade as possible. Other salons I've been too hasn't done that before, and would've just did the fill, and paint over the acrylic with gel polish. I even had to get a broken nail fixed - and honestly it didnt even look like I went to a different salon. That's how talented Anna is! So I was very satisfied during that visit. The second time I went, same experience. I came in needing a full set. And when I say that I felt pampered while Anna cleaned up my nail shape, cuticles,etc. While laying the acrylic, she makes sure each side is even, straight and perfect. If she notices even the smallest bead of acrylic is needed, she does it. It just relieves me to see and experience an artist that truly does show her effort through her work. I really love Anna's work. And lastly The environment of this salon is so cozy and welcoming. All of the ladies there are super super nice and I most definitely felt comfortable. I'm only 16 years old but I've gotten my nails done many times before. I used to go here when I was a lot younger with my step mom... but this time I went without her. I tried to get the same thing I always get: basic, short acrylics painted pink with chrome on top. This normally all goes smoothly when I'm with my step mom and comes out to be around 65-70 dollars. This time when I went alone the lady told me chrome isn't possible without gel on top of the acrylic. It didn't sound right to me, but I trusted her and thought maybe I had remembered wrong. I assumed it'd be maybe 10-20 dollars more so I said yes, but she never gave me a price. That was my first red flag, but it had already been too late to change. Turns out, I go up to pay and my total was around 110 dollars, meaning the gel + chrome was most likely a 40 dollar charge. 110 dollars for short acrylics is absolutely ridiculous. No designs, no charms nothing. Just pink paint and chrome. My nails also looked pretty bad. The vibe of the place was so great which is why I trusted them, yet my nails looked bulky, sat weird on my fingers, and were just shaped awfully. I had the owner doing my nails too! I wished I could say nice things about this store because it was recommended by a good friend. I came in and I had to wait for around 15 minutes which was fine, I showed the lady what I wanted and she was positive that she could do it (see picture 1). I wanted the same color scheme as the photo but they didn't have any similar colors, so I opted for blue which was disappointing but that's just due to the lack of options there. Starting from here was what really triggered me to write this review, while she was doing the black dot on my right ring finger, she messed up so many times and ended up not caring much about it at the end. She didn't even bother wiping where the black polish bled off, leaving traces of the polish where it's supposed to be transparent (see pic 2.) Also, the dot placement is extremely off on both fingers (see pic 3). Near the end of the session, she started speaking korean to the other lady saying something along the lines of "no brush" and "no black". Shortly after, she started applying the top coat however, I noticed she didn't draw the line on the middle finger. I asked her about it and she got very frustrated and was speaking in korean saying "it looks nicer without the line". She did it hastily and the lines are so thick that it looks like I have melanoma (see pic 4). I was too upset to look at them after but when I got home, I was even more upset. I noticed she did a horrible job of applying the nail polish and coat, it was painted around my nails (see pic 5). The only good thing I can say about her is that she did a great job at filing and cutting my nails. In conclusion, perhaps this store can only do "French Nail". read more

Yesterday I went in for an acrylic removal and new set that I received from another salon. Bella was the nail tech and noticed that two of my nails had been injured from the last set I did. Instead of giving me a new set she suggested a gel manicure so that my two nails could heal. I appreciated the thought and effort she put into making sure I walked away satisfied. I walked in with no appointment and they got me seated after about a 5 min wait (not bad at all.) The service was okay... My nail tech kept getting up every few min to attend to other customers (that's fine, I understand they are busy), the hand massage was about 20 seconds long, but I loved the way my nails came out. I'm sad to say that my shellac has already started chipping and it's only been THREE days. I went in for a full set of acrylics. The FIRST thing I asked them is not to cut my cuticles. She cut my cuticles, then seemed stunned when she made me bleed. I bleed forever, so after 45 minutes she asked me if I take medication that makes me bleed so much. I do not; I reiterated that I asked for my cuticles not to be cut for a reason. She also complained (in Korean) about my hands being cold. After I left I realized one of my thumbnails had ugly bubbles on it. My nails are three days old and are already lifting up. I went in the Friday before Memorial Day, and it was quite warm that weekend, so I wanted my feet to look cute for the summer weather. Longtime customer; I've tried the other shops in the neighborhood, but settled here because they consistently turn out great work. I've had acrylics, shellac on bare nails, silk wraps, and pedicures -- all reliably great. (Waxing: not so much. I don't think they like doing it, and it shows.) The ladies have all been here a long time, and if you become a regular, one will probably adopt you. From that point on, you'll be well-cared for. Enkhee does magnificent shellac and acrylic work, and her foot and hand massages are firm, thorough, and professional. They speak Mongolian, btw. I used to go to this place all the time with my sister and my mom, but never again. The last time I went in I was there to get a simple manicure. The woman who was working on me made every single one of my cuticles bleed. Not only did they end up scabbing, but after a few days the skin on all of my fingers peeled back from my cuticle to my upper knuckles.
