There's a male worker there that you need to be careful of!!! I came in to get serviced and this young man told me to come sit at his table except I had wanted a specific nail tech (the manager) to do my nails because she did a good job previously. Unfortunately, she was busy and said I could come back the next day so I agreed but before I left, I wanted to at least get the old nails removed and didn't mind who did them. I sat at the table where the young man initially asked me to sit and that he would remove my nails. Right away, he takes my right hand and rips at my pinky nail without any tools nor soaking the nail to make it soft. I pulled my hand away and saw that he ripped my real nail underneath the acrylic and my pinky started bleeding. I asked him what his problem was and he completely ignored me then grabs my hand again and tried to continue to take the pinky nail off!!! I was FURIOUS. He then begins to put acetone on cottonballs and put them on each nail with foil wrapped around them. The whole time my blood was boiling and I'm not a confrontational person or someone who knows what to do in a traumatic moment like that one so I continued to let him soak all my nails and remove them. ( I know. I should have got up as soon as he touched my first finger but I didn't and don't know why). Finally, I couldn't take it anymore and got up to leave halfway into him taking the other nails off. At this point, the manager exclaimed that I'd need to pay for the service I received so far. I showed her my pinky nail and how my real nail was deeply split in half down the middle and leaking blood so I should have all the right not to pay. She refused to understand and banned me from ever coming back all because I didn't want to pay for PAIN! It was the most insane thing ever!! read more

I was in the area (I live in California but am in Seattle for a high school reunion) and desperately needed a gel manicure. I have really thin and sensitive nails and so I was hesitant to just find any place (some nail places are really rough with the nail drill). I walked into this place and they seated me within 10 minutes. The nail tech was very understanding when I explained my thin nail situation and she gently filed off the top layer of my gel polish and applied a solution to dissolve the remaining polish. It was an absolutely painless removal! The manicure itself was efficient but well done too :) They offered beverages as well! Very pleased with the service and will definitely come back if I'm in the area in the future! read more

The nail is horrible, the acrylic is EXTREMELY THICK, she did not file them down, the nail polish peeled after 3 days. And after 5 days, I can just pull the polish off. I used to go to sunshine nails & spa in federal way but i just moved up north. A few weeks ago I got a full set and a pedicure (picture one) that cost $207!!! I've never been anywhere that cost more than $120 for BOTH. one nail broke off in 4 days and one completely popped off after a week, despite my better judgement i went back thinking that the length, & extra painted details contributed to the cost so it wouldn't be as expensive.. i was wrong! This set (second picture) was 1/2 as long, no extra designs and still cost $142!! they didn't even clean up the red stain around my fingers it looks terrible. No cuticle push back, they also appeared to just be reusing tools no sanitation or using disposables. The one star is because i 1) have to & 2) the employees were somewhat nice. read more

I've visited M Nails and Spa twice for a gel manicure and I've enjoyed both visits. Michelle did my nails both times; great conversation and did a great job on my nails. My manicure included a nice hand massage, warm towels, and a shoulder massage (!!). Their customer service is great. The first time I visited them was the first time I had gel nails, so I didn't quite dry/harden my thumb nail enough so there was a teeny air bubble. The next coats of paint went on fine so we didn't realize notice during the appointment. The next day, I was messing with the air bubble and long story short, the wet paint was exposed. I visited M Nails, they remembered me from the previous day, and fixed it up immediately for no charge. I've seen staff throughly clean the chairs and items between guests. They have a stamp card if you plan to visit often and paying with cash gets you two stamps. Parking in the area can be difficult sometimes with some residential nearby, and sometimes you can get away with parking in the Chase Bank lot. Just noting that M Nails was previously under a different name and owner, but I hadn't visited so can't compare the services. read more

If you want to get your nail designed, please don't complain about the price because I know it's not cheap, but This PlaceOMG. So good and good price. This was the worst manicure experience of my life. Their tools were old and dirty and not sanitized. I should have walked out as soon as I saw that but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. They wouldn't do gel extensions even though both their menu and their website say they have it. My fingers are cut and bleeding, my nails are all different lengths and shapes, and the art looks like it was done by a toddler. I asked the tech repeatedly to shorten my powder extensions (that I got instead of gel) and she never did. It also took two hours and there was no lotion/soak/cuticle trimming involved...in a $60 manicure. read more

So I got my nails done with dip powder last thursday. Friday morning the thumb nail just came completely off when I went to pick something up. I went back Friday and they fixed it. It has been less than a week since I got my dip manicure and 5 nails so far have just come off randomly fully intact 6 if you include the thumb nail that was replaced. Never had this ever happened to me when I have gotten dip.
