    Egg crescent sandwich

Stopped in here two different times, and both times were great. First time I just got a creme brulee latte to go, but it was a great latte! Simple coffee shop vibes with a bright interior and counter service. Second time I had a crescent egg sandwich and an iced coffee that I ate in the shop. The sandwich was dynamite, perfectly cooked and the crescent was bomb and the eggs were fluffy and light. Would definitely suggest for a quick bite or a coffee!

On my way to work...I'm already late...I pull up in the drive through that only had 2 cars ahead of me and no other cars in the parking lot. I'm thinking this should be quick. I mean if I'm going to be late, might as well make it worth my time, right? Lol This drive through basically said "oh, you're gonna be LATE LATE, sis". The staff was pleasant and all smiles as they slowly brought my order which was a vanilla chai w/almond milk and a bacon egg and cheese croissant. The drink was warm and lacked chai. Tasted more like vanilla milk...good vanilla milk but the chai was definitely missing. The sandwich was a very nice size, it took up the whole burger box but lacked flavor to me...it was decent. Don't go if you're in a hurry. Maybe the coffee is better.

Honestly some of the best coffee I've ever had. I got the southern pecan La freeze. (It comes with pecans on top but I opted out). No I'm not hating on pecans I just didn't want none today ok?! But anyway, it's super smooth! Like I really didn't expect that. Most places (including Starbucks) have frozen coffee obviously but it's usually texturized with the ice bits (you know what I mean?) but FRENCH PRESS' was smooth af. Like when I say no I've bits no chunks of anything. Just smooth like a creamy less thick ice cream. And the flavor itself wasn't too sweet at all. Like it was sweet but it didn't taste like they put additional sweetness into it, so it was easily drinkable, atleast for me. I'd definitely say give them a try because I'm sooooo glad I did!

FAVORITE coffee place in Louisiana ! The Southern Pecan is to die for! Came here back in April when I was visiting my Family in Kenner and returned again as soon as we got in because I had to get My Coffee fix! Can't wait to come back in tomorrow- the girls Are super sweet and the coffee is always delicious. I got so excited I dropped my coffee lmaoWish they had this spot up in New Jersey. A must try if you are in the Kenner area.

They were fine but at the same time I don't think they're for me. Credit to them that they fried them up hot and fresh to order, these things don't sit around dying under a heat lamp or anything like that, you're getting a quality donut. I did really like the iced cafe au lait, the coffee is really good. I would recommend trying it yourself and forming your own opinion. Me personally I think I like donuts better than beignets, maybe because I'm approaching them with the mentality of a donut and how you can get different styles and flavors and whatnot. I almost think I'd enjoy these more if they had a glaze I could dip them in, or a fruit jelly or jam or something similar. I understand there are beignet shops that do that but I wanted to try the original based on its history. The coffee however is the star of the show. Better than Starbucks, Dunkin, Tim Horton's, 7 Brew, or any of those chain coffee places. I'd come here for the coffee if nothing else.

Im pretty sure its actually purple food coloring and not actual ube, the only reason why I'm not placing a 1 star is because the first time I bought a cake from this place, it was actually good (some coffee cake). This bakery made decent cakes till I tried YOUR UBE CAKE. If you want to copy trends and mix asian culture into your goods, then DO IT PROPERLY, or at least research on how to make ube. Try making ube jam instead and place it in the cake, that would taste WAY better. Also the yellow icy part inside the cake would've been delightful if it was cheese and not some random yellow piss ice. Ube is commonly topped with cheese, this bakery really missed the opportunity to actually be culturally on point. So much for Ube getting mainstream if none of these businesses get it right anyway. They always mess up asian cuisines and culture by making their "own version". Dont disrespect our ube broski (I can feel/taste the ube on the paste but it just isnt enough, it needs more) (update, i take it back. Tried it in the morning where it wasn't as cold. It was actually soft and spongy, the ube taste was stronger and it was quite delectable. Keep up the good work, i see room for improvement though)
