What a lovely salon! I had a deluxe manicure with Allison, who is also the store manager. When I arrived the hostess gave me a tour of the salon and walked me through the scent options I would have for my deluxe manicure, which included a sugar scrub and moisturizing skin masque. She also offered me a warm neck wrap and my choice of beverage- water, hot tea, or wine. I went with hot tea and had some Stash Orange spice. The salon is open and transparent, letting you see where they wash and autoclave their tools. It is extremely well ventilated- there was no typical acrid scent detectable. Allison was friendly and professional, with a great attention to detail to both my nails and my comfort during the manicure. First time client, I like that they open at 9am, which was the #1 reason for booking my appointment today! I booked online, it was fast and easy. I was hoping to get French tip pedicure, but there was no option to book that online. Once coming in, the nail tech said she didn't have time for a French tip pedicure, which I thought was a bummer for a place called frenchies! The nail tech was kind, we had a nice conversation. I will say she was filing a little too fast and hurt my big toe, leaving a cut (equivalent to a paper cut) almost the length of my entire big toe, right on top. This isn't ideal, since I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Accidents happen, I'm very understanding, but the nail tech didn't apologize or even acknowledge that she had hurt me. Besides not having the option to even book for a French tip pedicure online or in the salon and my toe being hurt, it was a nice place with kind employees. I still left a tip for nice service, the pedicure looks good and the salon was clean... besides the floor, not sure if it was sticky because of the floor cleaner or what may have caused it. read more

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to! The atmosphere is friendly and clean, and the nail technicians are amazing. I've been getting pedicures here for several months, and I recently decided to get a gel/shellac manicure while my toes take a break from nail polish. I'm a bit hard on my nails, so even a professional gel manicure typically starts chipping or wearing at the tips by the time a week has passed. Not this time! It has been over 2 weeks now, and the polish still looks as perfect as the day it was applied--there isn't even a hint of wear or chipping. My lady sadly took less care of me compared to my sister and mother, trying to finish her shift faster by skipping freehand for snowflakes (which my mother and sister got freehanded without problem) and being rushed. Warning: DONT rely on their online booking system! After such an amazing experience last two times, I booked my next appointment at the salon for 6/17 but updated to 6/10 online. Well, I show up for my appointment and it turned out that there is no record for 6/10 or 6/17. The front receptionist demanded that I show the proof of appointment confirmation and said I didnt update it correctly, as if it was my fault?!?! What happened to CX experience? Dont offer online booking if it's that complicated to update and your back-end systems dont sync. Then, the manager came out saying they dont have any opening that day and nothing can be done. Well I can't really review the services because I left before things got started. First time customer I arrived slightly early for my appointment 6:20 for a 6:30. 16minutes of me waiting and no one approaching me to let me know my technician was running late. Initially, this place seemed great! Upon arrival before beginning service the receptionist attempted to up sale me on products they use. Great business model, ideally I think it would work better after being able to see the benefit when getting your nails done. My main issue with my experience is my appointment was scheduled for 11:30am and I did receive service until 12:10. When making the appointment I explained I had an appointment at 1:00pm stressing how important it is for me done before hand. However, the nail tech rushed through my service and I was done until around 12:55. Then upon leaving the receptionist got upset with me for not leaving at tip. I explained how I felt as a first time customer my time was not valued and the whole experience was different people talking to me about up-selling. Instead of having great customer service and apologizing or even acknowledging my experience she kept taking the payment system back to the tip screen. I then had to firmly explain I was not leaving a tip due to my poor and rushed experience. I prefer quality over quantity so I did not mind paying the $140 however, I expect more if I'm spending that kind of money for a basic gel mani/pedi. That seemed like a lot but I liked them and they lasted a while, so I decided to go back. By then, half of my nails had grown out, so I only needed extensions of half of my nails. When I went to check out, they tried to charge me for a full gel manicure, plus a full set of gel extensions. When I tried to explain to the receptionist that she should only charge me for half a manicure and a half set of gel extensions she didn't get it. She was getting snarky, and didn't like it when the manager overheard and told her to cut the manicure price in half. I went back three weeks later, needed the exact same service (half manicure and half extensions) and again they tried to overcharge, and again the manager intervened and the price was lowered. Eight days went by and the gel polish had cracked on one of my nails. I called to see if I could get it repaired, and was willing to pay for a repair. I was told they didn't do repairs after 1 week and I would have to pay for a full gel polish change. Between the expense, having to explain why they shouldn't overcharge me each time, and the snarky receptionist's attitude, I've decided to find another salon. Literally found my forever salon. I have been getting shellac manicure for years and always tried a different nail salon but could never find the right one. Ive been looking for quality and cleanliness and this place is just that. I'm a mom and healthcare worker so I'm really hard on my hands and my manicure does not chip at lasts me three weeks!!! I LOVE how clean everything is and all the tools have been sterilized before use. Not only that, my nails are SO much healthier! I will never go anywhere else! I found a promotional special on facebook to check out this salon, since they were in their new space in Beaverton, and I'm so glad that I did!! Their motto is the importance of cleanliness, and their salon definitely demonstrates that. I got there a little early for my appointment, so I had time to relax with a warmed-neck wrap and some hot tea. I also got a brief tour of the salon (which I believe is standard for all guests) and they showed me their clean room and talked about some of their auto-clave methods as well as why they don't use jets in their foot-tubs because it is hard to really disinfect for cleanliness reasons. I loved the big picture concept of how clean this salon is, it really helps stand them apart from other salons. In addition, my nail technician was magical and professional! Cassy did great work to my toes, and really made me feel comfortable at ease. I was very self-conscious of my toes and how they look, I am a trail runner and I put a lot of miles on the trail and the road, so I had some gnarly- blood blisters and other "Not cute" stuff going on with my feet. In addition, I forgot to shave! I was a little self-conscious during the calf massage, but Cassy made me feel pretty inside and outside and was really accepting of the status of my feet. They pursued me over text for months with a new customer discount, I finally agreed to trek to Beaverton the next day. We then played phone tag after that since they wanted my credit card to hold the appointment. Since I was heading into the gym the next morning, I left a voice message explaining I would be there, but couldn't talk after that. I zipped over to the appointment right after, only to find they had canceled the appointment. It was a waste of my time, and I am shocked they wouldn't accommodate. Let me start by saying that I love the idea of healthier removal, and more sustainable nail care that is behind this business. They really are hard to beat when it comes to cleanliness. However, I came across this salon when looking for a new, experienced nail salon for false nails. I opted to get my acrylic nails removed and try their gel extensions. The girl who did my nails was very informative about how terrible acrylics are for your nails and how much better the gel extensions are. I wish I enjoyed them as much as she had talked them up. First of all, they are very expensive. I would say the price is a bit steep for what your are actually receiving. I got to choose from square or oval/rounded options for the gel extension nails (they look similar to press ons initially before installation). I chose to get the squared ones, only to find out that I had no option to adjust the length. This was extremely frustrating to me because I can't have extremely long nails for the work that I do & usually I would expect that I can manipulate the shape, length etc for what I am paying. I was hoping to get healthier false nails that were a bit shorter yet still beautiful. Because of the way the gel extensions work, they cannot file them down from the tips or they will not stay on your natural nail. This was frustrating to me that I couldn't customize the nails I was already paying good money for. Mind you, the "shortest" size of the square extensions was still what most would consider, a long fake nail. Secondly, not even a week afterwards, one had already broken and I had to go in to get it fixed. (Another reason I didn't want them super long) They weren't very strong, because this happened 2 more times where they ended up breaking off on me near the edges. They told me they will only do complimentary nail repair within a week after the initial appointment. That seems a bit ridiculous to me when I paid over $100 to get my nails done and they broke 2 days after I got them done. (I also only got a solid color, no special nail design) Lastly, they started lifting about a week or so afterwards, which was very disappointing. I know that that isn't necessarily the nail technicians fault & that sometimes certain nails types just don't take as well to the gel extensions, but it was upsetting nonetheless. My nail technician had mentioned to me that they just began training on gel extensions not even a year ago for this salon. I just would have hoped for a more reasonable price if this is still something that is newer to the salon overall, or maybe a bit better customer service when I need repairs, more gel or nail bond, so they don't lift, etc. Again, the girls were nice and I loved the layout and cleanliness of this place. I would just advise to maybe skip out on the gel extensions and opt in for a gel mani/pedi which seems to be their specialty here. read more

I went to Frenchies for the first time yesterday and I wasn't very happy with my experience. First of all, I do LOVE how clean the salon is. I like how they don't use jets for the pedicure bowls, and they always use new nail files and have a very strict sanitizing procedure. It was the girl who did my pedicure who ruined my experience. I got a pedicure with my sister yesterday, and at the beginning of the pedicure my nail tech was talking about how she's not happy about clients getting their nails done under the current circumstances...while my sister and I are sitting right there. It made me feel like I was a burden to her to be there and that she wasn't happy to be working. I get it, I'm working in retail too during a pandemic, but I would NEVER say that in front of a customer to make them feel bad about themselves for getting a service done. My nail tech and my sister's nail tech were even talking about how they don't want customers to come in WHILE THEY'RE DOING OUR PEDICURES. I paid for the deluxe pedi which felt more like a classic pedi. The massage was short and she didn't even massage my calves, just my ankles and feet. She asked how I hard I like massage pressure and I said "hard", but it felt like she was barely putting in any work. I'm very surprised to see these positive reviews about Cassy, because I would not want her to do my nails again. read more

This is a great place! I saw it on Facebook and decided to make an appointment - which you can make online (huge plus). The parking is a bit difficult right now, but we were told they are building more parking across the street from the salon. Upon entering, we noticed how clean it was! You get to smell the lotions and scrubs while getting checked it, so you know exactly what you want. I'd never sat on bench seating for a pedicure, but found it really comfortable. The pedicure bowls don't have jets (they explained is can harbor bacteria) and I thought I'd miss it, but I really didn't. The bowls were a good size and the whole thing was really great and comfortable. The best part has to be the service I got from Cassidy. She was great! I really appreciated her taking time during each step of my pedicure. I didn't feel rushed, and yet it didn't take too long. Plus she had a great personality, which made the whole experience better.
