I asked for dip powder but I'm pretty sure she used colored acrylic. Looks great though. Okay service. Unclean utensils. Hannah did my nails and I like the shape and thickness. Other places I have been to I hate the shape and thickness because they seem bulky. These look they could be my natural nails and I like that look. Hannah is a skilled nail tech, and she knows how to give you the shape that you want. She wasn't paying much attention to what she was doing and she was watching something on her phone at the same time. It didn't bother me much because I was able to remind her what I wanted done, but I know it may bother others. This Nail Salon has failed me 3 times now... You would think after the first fail I would stop coming.. not my hopeful a**. This will be my fourth and LAST time coming lol. Where to begin, I originally came with intention to get only regular pedicure, that's what I scheduled at least. There were several times the owner whom I'm not sure what her name is would repeatedly ask me if I wanted to get a fill which at the time I did not want... if anything I wanted to get my acrylics taken off after her fourth time asking I gave in. Owner proceeded to take them off and mind you I know nail removals isn't the most comfortable thing to do but I did let her know it hurts. She didn't do anything about it or at least see if I was okay, she proceeded to take them off and made one of my finger nails bleed tear back the skin and nail. Two of my finger nails, she completely gave up and didn't bother taking them off but instead shaved them down which are still thick as hell and not even with the rest: Pedicure was a shit show. Again this is what I scheduled for. She didn't do a good job either. She was very lazy I have paint on the side of nails & toe. I can still she the brush streaks, polish is clunky as hell because she would wait for each coat to dry before applying another. Anyways I'm over it. I never post reviews but this place I would not recommend and if there is a person I would recommend is Tammy. She's not even the owner but does a better job than the others. She doesn't rush either. She was booked with another client otherwise I would've booked with her. Oh and side note she the place had two customers who BOOKED walk out from their appoints because they waited over 45 minutes. I suggest going to Anthony's Nails in Bridgeport or Tina's Nail off Canyon wayyyyyy better of service!!! read more

This place has super comfy massage chairs (best I've experienced in this area so far out of maybe ten places?) Free drink with service, great prices, new place and they speak English. I won't be coming here again. We had a 2:30 appointment for 3 people. We scheduled the appointment instead of walking in because we had a dinner reservation to celebrate a birthday. After 2:00, they called to say they were running late, come at 3:00. We adjusted our plans and arrived before 3:00. There were two employees, both finishing nails. At about 3:10 the two employees started on two of us. When asking if there was a third employee since we had the appointment, we were told the two of them would be doing the work. One employee was on a phone call the entire time (bluetooth). My $35 pedicure was completed by 3:30 and that employee moved on to our third person. When we were all done before 4:00, we realized at least our dinner reservations would not be impacted by our delayed appointment. Once completed, each employee said nothing and moved on the next people in the room. We proceeded to put our sandals on ourselves, my sister smudging her nail and no offer to fix. We stood at the counter to pay for about 5 minutes before one of the employees stopped to take our payment. it was the oddest pedicure experience we had ever had. read more

I just have to share. A week ago I got a manicure and felt a couple areas that she was using those cuticle clippers along the sides of my nails that didn't feel right. Now I've been dealing with an ingrown nail for three days, and doing anything at all keeps it consistently bleeding with pus. So I went to urgent care today and discovered it was infected. They had to numb it and scalpel it open so it could drain, but we still haven't gotten the ingrown out. I get to spend my weekend with Epson salt soaks, antibiotics and self surgery. Visited today and had an awful experience. After a long day and week at work was looking forward to relaxing and getting a pedicure. Selected the "base level" pedicure which was $27. The tech did no more to my nails than I could have at home, pushed back the cuticles with a metal tool which she ran over the skin which was really painful and did this on every nail. When she went to trim cuticles, she really didn't cut anything off, the nailbed looked exactly the same as it had before. My favorite part about pedicures is the cleanup they do around the nails and there was none done at all. No shaping with the file either on the actual nails and massage was short. There were no customers waiting but it seemed like she rushed through because I selected the "basic" pedicure. Polish job was shoddy, got all over my skin, bubbles, too much polish put on. The final straw was payment. I pulled out my card and they said they don't take cards and pointed to an ATM machine in the nail salon where I could withdraw cash!! This was one of those ATM's you see at a gas station that charges a fee for a withdraw and then maybe a charge on the other end depending on the bank. So not only did I get the worst quality and least relaxing pedicure ever, but they expected that I pay fees in order to pay them in cash so that the business could avoid credit card transaction fees. The credit card fees that businesses have are a cost of doing business and putting the charge (very high charge on the customer end) back on the customer is ridiculous. Goes without saying but I will not be back. Take your money somewhere else. read more

Hanna is fantastic and the prices here are fair but if Hannah or Kevin (the owners) are not in, I recommend - turn around and leave. You know that saying "while the cats are away..." well in this case when the owners are away the employees turn into the rudest bunch of lazy cows I have encountered. I had an appointment to do a fill and shellac nail polish... when I came in, no other customers were in the salon, just a bunch of nail techs sitting around. They said I didnt have an appointment. When I explained I did, I had called in, they told me Hannah had to leave early. I understood stuff comes up and said I could do it with anyone but they wouldn't do my nails!! My daughter and I got pedicures here today and they were great. The shop is clean, bright and they have 10 nice message chairs. We got right in without an appointment but I was also 1:00 on a Monday. No price break for a mani/pedi combo which I thought was strange but they gave my teen daughter a student discount - $32.00 or $10 more for shellac mani. Oh and a free drink which was nice. The biggest drawback? The music. Over an hour of Bruno Mars. Awful. And when we got to the end of the playlist, it started over at the beginning again!! Ugh. So far so good!! I had visiting this salon for the first time yesterday (Sunday) and can honestly say that I had an amazing experience!! Hannah was such a sweet lady, I will DEFINITELY be returning! I made an appointment last minute that same morning - which was amazing to me that they were even open on a Sunday. I came at 4:15, and was immediately acknowledged as soon as I walked through the door. I was shown where the colors were to choose from and began to wait. After just a few minutes of sitting, Hannah came to me and let me know they were just a bit behind. After having me wait only 15-ish minutes, she took me back. They closed at 5 - I was getting worried that she was going to be rushed the entire time. She sat me down at her station and immediately began to apologize for running late and wanted to let me know how much she truly appreciated me waiting. She made me feel very welcome, introduced herself, and began asking exactly what I wanted. She took her time, even stayed late 40 minutes! At NO TIME did I feel rushed or that her quality of work was suffering. I am very happy with the service I received and will be paying her a visit in the next couple of weeks for a fill! Oh did I mention how reasonable they were!??! $35 for a Gel Full Set with Shallac paint! SOLD!! Now the test to see how long they last :) read more

Okay, when I first went to this salon over a year ago, they did a fantastic job. Subsequent visits were very good. Tracy was absolutely fabulous and you got an excellent pedicure from her. However, some of them either don't know how to do a proper manicure or don't care. It seems they've gotten 'cozy' and think they can short change the customer and you won't notice. You don't get your money's worth any more and they talk too much, sometimes walking away from you three and four times, while working on your nails. Some of them can be quite snappy if you have to return for them to fix their own mess. The original staff worked well, the new staff is good at chatter. read more

Probably the worst place I've EVER gotten my nails done at. Let's start at the beginning, I came in for a pedi/ mani and I've never been here before. They seat me down, the chair doesn't work and the water is so cold. I had to ask her to make it warmer twice. Then a guy comes over to start on my nails, I had a blue on it before and now I'm getting a darker blue (gel). He makes a total mess of taking my polish off, my hands are basically blue at this point. Then he finished my nails and they look terrible, blue polish everywhere and parts are uneven. The lotion they use is sticky and gross, made me want to wash my hands right after. When I was done I was so surprised at how expensive it was. $65 for the worst experience I've had. I won't be going back there again and I can definitely understand why it was so empty. Also it was very cold in there, no music, nothing smelled good. Terrible manicure, painful pedicure. I can shape my nails better myself and the polish was awful! I can literally see the color of my natural nails through the faint coats they put on my nails. My feet were scrubbed violently on the top and the water was absolutely scolding. To the point where I had to wait almost an entire minute of them pumping cold water in for it to be bearable. They were very busy, but took me in just as soon as the customer before me was done. I gravitate towards the brighter, spring/summer colors & in my option they could have more of these. None the less the selection was good. I was offered a choice between a few types of beverages while I had my pedicure. I chose the mid-range pedicure at $25 (just $5 more then the basic pedi). If you don't bring your own buffer, etc. you can purchase these items for $2. The step-up included a hot foot soak and warm leg towels. I chose a basic manicure for $15. Honest option, it was an ok experience. However, the women are well dedicated to their job. I saw a lot of customers walk in demanding they have their nails done NOW. I recommend scheduling with them or give them an advance. I notice there it 2-3 women working. The biggest problem for some customer is being nice. I made an appointment and it took maybe less than 10 minutes for my turn. The woman was nice and she took her time. Negative side, she did hurt my nails here and there with her nail drill and snipped my skin. I did let her know that I was hurting me and she fixed her problem. My nails came out great! Just be honest and don't give them attitude, they mean well. For acrylic nails cost me $30? For the service and nails I thought it was fair. Their cash register isn't working so bring cash! I would go back because they women are super nice and I like their service. Okay so I was super excited to get a day to myself! Personally, I never get the chance to get a manicure and pedicure and today was the perfect day! Mother's Day! So I walk into the place and my partner already paid for the deluxe package. Awesome right? I sit down and they tell me I have to pay for the tools. Wait, what? This is a very cute place, and I love that it's in my neighborhood! It's nicely decorated with relaxing music softly playing in the background. The air is remarkably free of that chemical odor we all hate to smell. The staff are all quite friendly. I have gone there twice for pedicures now. Each time I have been treated with kindness and respect and have felt amazingly relaxed afterwards. They always offer you something to drink, and perhaps a snack if you wish. The leg massages are done thoroughly and well; they spend more time doing these massages than any other place I've been. I also appreciate the level of cleanliness at Cozy Nails & Spa; they use a separate pumice stone for each customer. You buy it for a small fee and then you bring it back each time. Not impressed. From the reviews, I thought this place would be good, but I was wrong. I had an appointment at 11:30 and they sat me down after about 5 minutes, but my manicure didn't actually start for another half hour. The place was busy, but they could have at least apologized for making me wait. I was never offered a complimentary drink either. I got a shellac manicure with a fairly sheer color, and when I asked for a third coat she tried to talk me out of it. I also felt like I had to be fairly involved so that my nails came out right. She got some of the top coat onto my finger, and while she was taking it off she ripped off a huge chunk of skin. She didn't even realize it for a second, but then tried to explain that she thought it was the top coat. It was pretty painful and not great for a wedding the next day. My moms nails were not shaped that well either. She did end up giving me the diamonds for free, and my nails do look good. However, I'm sure I could find better service somewhere else. read more
