I've been here before and loved it but recently I had an unfortunate experience. I originally wanted a French tip, but the technician gave me a hard time about it, so I decided to just go with white instead. Even after changing my mind, I had to repeat myself multiple times. The technician was rough during the service and became rude after I no longer wanted the French tip. At one point, she told me I didn't have to pay. I still offered to pay, but she made a scene in front of other customers and then said, "Something must be wrong with you today." That is not acceptable customer service, especially toward someone who simply came in to relax, treat themselves, and enjoy a pedicure. read more

My tech is on vacation and so is my back up, so I decided to try this place. I went in and asked for a dip with gel manicure. Same thing I always get at my regular and back up place. The lady said yes, I understand, then tried to get me to do gel caps. I said no thank you just 1 dip and gel. Okay, do you want shorter? No thank you. She then proceeds to cut several short. I said oh no they are too short. She then said she could fix it with gel caps, which I didn't want. The application process was a but painful as they were shoved up under my cuticle. I was told oh some people hurt some don't. I tried to explain the length I wanted, somehow I have different lengths and only 1 is correct. I wanted to tell her to take it all off and walk out but I don't like confrontation and have a hard tome sticking up for myself. Then she started buffing them and 5 of my cuticles are cut and bleeding. I showed her and she said sometimes they bleed. I left shaking almost in tears. Some are super thick, corners uneven. Different lengths. All I can do is file them myself and hope they grow fast so I can get them redone soon. read more

So here is my mini saga! My sister and I got regular pedicures yesterday. Best feature was my massage chair that gave me a great back massage! Problem areas: Too hot tub water, very little prep on cleaning up nail area, pedicurist hurriedly put on base coat followed by 2 coats of polish. She smudged one toe and painted over the smudge instead of fixing it. Insisted on putting on my flip flop shoes and put side strap between my little toe and next one instead of the outside of my foot. Doing so she messed up other toes and quickly added several coats of thick polish to cover it up, instead of making them smooth by redoing them. I ended up with 5 coats of polish, and opted not to get the top coat for fear it would mess them up more. My sister also had little prep work and did not get a base coat on the toes, just 1 coat of polish and the top coat. Her nails were also done very poorly. She took her polish off as soon as she got home. I will be taking mine of today and repainting them myself. This was the quickest pedicure either of us has ever had. They were done very quickly and without skill or care. I see many other reviews that are not favorable, and I now know why. They try to do too many clients at the same time so hurry through and do not care about doing a good job. Fortunately there are a few clients that seem to get a higher quality service. We will DEFINATELY NOT RETURN here! read more

Painted my toenails with my sandals on; never in my pedicure experienced have I had an tech color my toenails in this manner. Called in for a paraffin pedicure and the tech almost started painting my toenails without the wax treatment. Felt like I was being scolded by asking for paraffin. Owner said the person answering the phone was not experienced or something like; also saying the wax was expensive. There's a lot to be said when you can find a business that you go to regularly and you have NO complaints...ever!! Everyone I've ever referred is still going to Tips and Toes and why wouldn't ?! I've been going here for 2 years now and am still happy with the work Lan and her ladies do for us. Always pleasant, on time unless other patrons run them behind. Lan is always early since I make my appt the first one. She does a great job on my nails, no lifting, breaking or fungi issues at all and they last 3 weeks no problem. Lan is very professional and accomadating. She makes sure I have my appt set for my next time. They also make sure they are Covid 19 safe, wearing masks, gloves, cleaning the chairs, pedicure bowls and the manicure tables. Also, provide santizer at the door. This experience was not good. Worst pedicure ever! Have several callouses on my feet that were easily filed from a decent nail pro. Gel nails were horrible! Thick and MOT gel! This is my second time being to this location since covid & I was very impressed with the measures they took to keep everyone safe & sanitized. Face masks & shields/ gloves and sanitizing with everything. I got a pedi & full set. However my pedi was $30 & no shellac polish was used which I thought was why it was that price(the massage was fenomenal tho as I am pregnant & really needed that). Then I was told my full set would be $55 which seemed reasonable but when it came to paying she ended up charging me more ($66) then what she had first initially told me. I was in a rush so I didn't make a fuss out of it because she did a really great job with my nails. I just don't like to be told one price & be charged a whole different price at the end with no reason or explanation. They apparently don't look at their appointment books or just don't care if you make an appointment. After waiting for 15 min we left. I have been going to this salon for years. I have always received great service whether I was receiving a simple pedicure to an application of gel nails. The technicians are professional and really care about what they are doing. When my nails reacted poorly to the gel application (back when it was first available) they worked with me to help my nails recover. Now they take extra care to ensure my sensitive nail beds aren't hurt when removing any of the gel or polish. I can't say enough nice things about this salon. They are great! read more

Will not return. The person who did my pedicure was very friendly. I am sure there are good technicians, but the one I had cut me and the toe wouldn't stop bleeding. There was a lot of cuticle left on the toes and the polish paint was uneven. When I mentioned the cuticle that was left, I was told "well, you had a lot of cuticle"... the point of the pedicure and her job is to remove it....
