I decided on the "back alley mint chip." It's called "back alley" as they used to grow their own mint in a previous location. Now they source it from local farms. Perhaps the best mint chip I've ever had. The ice cream was white with a slight green tint - what you'd expect if using fresh mint. So while this place makes an impressive selection of cookie flavors, of which we availed ourselves to most flavors, we also weren't about to leave without getting a maple creemee (Vermont's answer to soft-serve ice cream). We didn't care that it was before noon, and we hadn't even eaten lunch. The creemee was AMAZING !! The maple flavor was beautiful, and mixed with the creamy goodness of the soft-serve, WOW is all I have to say. Just WOW !! So glad I read about this place and made a point of stopping. As for the cookies, we bought one of each of most flavors they offered. I couldn't make up my mind, so I picked the following: Snickerdoodle - sugar cookie with cinnamon First Love - chocolate chip Puppy Love - peanut butter chocolate chip Mother's Love - butterscotch with chocolate chip True Love - oatmeal with dried cranberries Enduring Love - coconut, oatmeal, chocolate chip, almond and dried cranberries There are about 4 other flavors we didn't get on the day we were there.
