I drive by this place all the time. Out for a long run this morning and decided I needed to refuel. Best double flat white I've had in quite a while. Staff was great as well as sitting outside on the brick sidewalk.

On our way up to Stowe, VT from Saratoga Springs, NY, I had read about this place while planning a trip to VT. Every trip includes food stops, and this happened to be our first ! So while this place makes an impressive selection of cookie flavors, of which we availed ourselves to most flavors, we also weren't about to leave without getting a maple creemee (Vermont's answer to soft-serve ice cream). We didn't care that it was before noon, and we hadn't even eaten lunch. The creemee was AMAZING !! The maple flavor was beautiful, and mixed with the creamy goodness of the soft-serve, WOW is all I have to say. Just WOW !! So glad I read about this place and made a point of stopping. As for the cookies, we bought one of each of most flavors they offered. I couldn't make up my mind, so I picked the following: Snickerdoodle - sugar cookie with cinnamon First Love - chocolate chip Puppy Love - peanut butter chocolate chip Mother's Love - butterscotch with chocolate chip True Love - oatmeal with dried cranberries Enduring Love - coconut, oatmeal, chocolate chip, almond and dried cranberries There are about 4 other flavors we didn't get on the day we were there. They also serve other flavors of creemees, and all kinds of hard ice cream, too, but I didn't care about any of that. I got what I wanted and was real glad I did !! By the way, we didn't get to the cookies until a day or two later, and they were still really fresh and moist ! Find your way here. You'll be soooo glad you did.

In the four days I was in Lake Placid, I went here three times. Everything was so good. I loved the almond and chocolate swiss-roll type cake. I also had a bacon, egg and cheese croissant one morning that was exceptional. The place is tiny but the flavors are large and the staff are very friendly.

Have you heard of the little engine that could? This is the tiny but mighty bakery. I've been…read morevisiting Lake Placid for years, but only discovered this bakery this year, mostly by following its patrons who were perambulating around the Main Street with what looked like amazing little scones. Speaking of said scones, they're fantastic. If you're expecting biscuit-line scones, these might be a bit of a disappointment. These are on the bread-ier side of the pastry spectrum, but no less satisfying. We tried the blueberry almond scone and the raspberry white chocolate, and both were scarfed down within minutes. I also love that these aren't sickly sweet. Paired with a latte (for which I highly, highly recommend getting a pump of the hazelnut syrup), Bluesberry Bakery was responsible for supplying some of the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Lake Placid. City folks ought to temper their expectations. This is a small town bakery on a quaint main street, and inside, space is tight. There isn't any seating space, and if two or more groups of customers come in simultaneously, the rest of the queue has to wait outside the door. But things behind the counter are manned by a small, dedicated crew of folks who keep things moving. As with any bakery that makes things fresh, come as soon as the urges hit; when they're out, they're out. I learned this the hard way when I came late afternoon for a scone and found they were sold out.

Maple Creamee!…read more Creameries and maple syrups are ubiquitous in VT. Nothing wrong with it, but I'm not a fan of maple syrup nor food cooked with MS. Since theirs is the first maple creamee I've actually finished, thought it worth sharing. This is based on my visit in August, 21. ++ Ambiance is tiny and clean and convenient. They are located ABOVE the street level on Route 7 so, look for Woodware with colorful Adirondacks. If you only want creamees, visit their togo walkup window. ++ They ONLY serve MAPLE creamies. No other flavors! They offer both cups and soft cones. BMF's maple creamee was balanced and is not overly sweet! If you want maple syrups and souvenirs, go inside. This shop is small but was organized and clean. They had the usual variety of sizes but limited grades. ++. Friendly staff ++ Prices were fair. There's a CASH discount :-). ++ Open daily! 11:30am - 6pm + Limited free parking shared with Woodware, but was not a problem. It's a togo place, so it moves fast. PSA: The location on Yelp is incorrect and I've submitted for proper location update. They are located NORTH of Halladay Rd. Enjoy!
