Came here after having dinner with a friend nearby. The establishment was clean inside. Once we made our frozen yogurt and toppings creation, we went up to the counter to pay. The girl behind the counter was not friendly at all. She was all business. No smile, no greeting, no goodbye. I even tried to make a joke...nothing. They have decent frozen yogurt and dairy free choices...cake batter, vanilla, chocolate, coconut milk, and fruity options. Plenty of toppings to choose from too...cereal, m&m's, fruit, candy, chocolate sauce, caramel, whip cream, etc. This place is located in downtown Gresham. Only street parking available.

Frenzi's is spacious and has comfortable seating.

When my family came in the woman acted disgusted that we had children with us. Was not friendly, it was our first time there and our last.

Walking into the Soda Shop, it feels like a kid's daydream. There was candy and souvenirs everywhere, a big ice cream counter, and, of course, the soda shop. I noticed that they also sell food here-- it smelled amazing and I would definitely give it a try if I came again. Ordering was easy, and the young man behind the counter was really helpful-- I had never been to a soda hop before, so I had some questions about the options. He did not make me feel silly for having questions, and he did a good job of both training his coworker and being attentive to the line at the same time. I ordered a sugar free salted caramel soda (there were so many sugar free options!!!) It was delightful. I was a little apprehensive that it would actually taste like the flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. The price point is higher than you would pay for a normal soda, but I think that the novelty of the experience is worth it. We had a great time, and would definitely return (I want to see the upper level, too-- that was closed for a private event when we stopped in).

I ordered a wrap which was very good the mayonnaise was more on the outside wrapper than inside the wrap though. Thanks, or no thanks, to Lulu food truck being closed on 4th of July weekend :( we probably wouldn't have been in the mood for some Hawaiian food! Anyways, after eating at Gyro King (review pending) and downing a lovely lager from Wayfinder, we wanted dessert but still had that Hawaiian food craving in our heads. Thanks to roaming the area, and smack dab in the middle of it all was a little (somewhat) Hawaiian themed ice cream shop called Mochi Cones (: We enter this tiny shop, and the two ladies working there were welcoming and helpful. The served the kids their ice cream and loved it! But I wanted the Lillikoi cupcake ($4) and ube crinkle cookie ($2). And OH MY GEE!!! The ube crinkle cookie was perfect! Or shall I say soft "perfection". The ube flavor and sweetness was just right. My only failure was not taking a picture of it lol, sorry. As for the Lillikoi cupcake, I practically had the same reaction. Cravings cured! So, I inquired a bit about the pastries and asked where they came from. And what another great discovery! The baked goods came from North Plains. My eyes lit up as I've heard about this lady/owner baker before in that area. She had to be the one from ONAS Patisserie. I was in awww because she creates some delicious tasting malasadas. Look her up! You'll thank me!

They put so much care into everything. Listen- always get the salad here. They're always delicious and contain surprises. This time we got marinated rhubarb, which is in season, and which I'm excited to make and put in my own spring salads at home. Also, edible flowers, and while we ate lunch, we saw a worker picking them from the little garden. The sandwich was a shrimp roll, which was great, maybe with homemade bread? It was perfect. The sandwich was zesty, with a remoulade and little pickled jalapeños. And what were those crunchy things on top? Crushed barbecue potato chips! A delightful detail most restaurants wouldn't bother with. And the soft serve sundaes, which are also full of artistry and interesting textures! You have to get one.
