The flavor selection is a little more limited but they have the basic rotation. I'd say the same for the toppings it's pretty solid. Came here after having dinner with a friend nearby. The establishment was clean inside. Once we made our frozen yogurt and toppings creation, we went up to the counter to pay. The girl behind the counter was not friendly at all. She was all business. No smile, no greeting, no goodbye. I even tried to make a joke...nothing. Frenzi is one of my go-to dessert spots in Gresham! You walk in, pick a cup (there's a medium size and large size), fill it with whatever flavor of yogurt you'd like, load it up with toppings, and go to the cash register to weigh and pay. They offer 6-8 different flavors (including a few dairy-free options) and lots of toppings such as gummies, nuts, chocolates, cereals, candy of all types, sweet sauces, whipped cream, and much more. My favorite yogurt flavors are the classic chocolate and cake batter. For toppings, I always get the rainbow mochi, strawberry and mango popping boba, and rice crispy cereal for a great crunchy texture. During my most recent visit at the beginning of May 2024, I filled up a medium-sized cup and it cost about $8, which I believe is fair since I could barely finish it haha. There is usually only one employee behind the register and the store is always very clean and organized. There's also plenty of seating indoors, like booths, tables, and tall stools, as well as a cute outdoor patio area perfect for sunny days. Keep in mind that the shop is located in downtown Gresham, so street parking is popular, but there is a parking lot about a block away. This is a great place to take kids and your grandkids. You go to the yogurt dispensers and there's about six or seven different flavors of yogurt. I chose the salted pretzel and cake dough. I added some nonpareil sprinkles, and a few M&Ms. My grandson and granddaughter topped theirs with more sugary treats than the actual yogurt. After you have gotten your yogurt and toppings, you go to the register and they weigh them. Plenty of places to sit both indoors and outdoors. Not my favorite Frozen Yogurt place but can certainly hit the spot for any cravings you have. My personal favorites are typically more tart like the sour fruits or even original. I assume the flavors rotate but I've never visited twice so I can't confirm this. That being said they only have 8 pumps to choose from which seem like less compared to other places. When I visited I found their selection somewhat limited. Not in terms of number of flavors but in terms of variety of flavors. I felt that most if not all of them were just different flavors of 'sweet.' I ended up picking pineapple as it was the most different of the flavors present. Next is toppings. Now I will preface that if your a sweet tooth this place is the spot for you. They have all the candy and sweets that you can pick from, and I'm pretty sure every child in there was going a little sugar-crazy. However, and even my fiancee makes fun of me for this, I don't love things to be overly sweet despite having a sweet tooth myself. I prefer things that are mildly/naturally sweet like fruits and granola; and this is where I again found their selection to be lacking. read more

Went to get a yogurt and an older blonde woman was working. I assume she was the owner. She was not welcoming and when we asked questions she acted like we were bothering her. This is the second time we have encountered her and the first time she was yelling at a person / customer outside her shop - not very professional. Needless to say we will not be going back. The candy shop down the street sells ice cream and is very welcoming we will stick with that. Downtown Gresham is supposed to be known for their friendly welcoming shops - she is not representing that. read more

Frenzi Frozen Yogurt is a pleasant surprise, found right next to Ristorante Boccelli in the revitalized historic section of downtown Gresham, Oregon, the place which the kid played by actor Chris O'Donnell in "Scent of a Woman" sheepishly admitted to being his hometown. The 1st thing that one notices upon entering is that it's a nice store and a place that feels inviting, sort of enticing one to eat there rather than take their treat with them. The 2nd thing one notices is that the service is very good. The 3rd thing one notices is that their flavors and myriad of toppings is very respectable. The 4th thing one notices is that the price is appropriate for what they got, being about 80% of what was charged by Eddie's in touristy Palm Springs. The 5th thing one notices is that the yogurt concoction they put together is really good. The 6th, and last, thing one notices is that this is a place worth remembering, that you are reminded Boccelli's is right next door upon leaving, and that downtown Gresham has come a long way. read more

These self-serving frozen yogurt shops are just popping up all over. I like them because I can just choose whatever I want, depending on my mood, and put together a fun little dessert for myself. I can also control (should I want to) my calorie consumption, yet still get something sweet. I just waltz in there and grab a small cup, twist some low fat vanilla yogurt in there, add me some toppings and then drop that sucker on the weight scale, pay and go. The only issue I have is that there are many children that frequent this place, and they carry all kinds of kid germs. I get a little freaky about it when they are making their own fun treats, and sampling with their little fingers, (where have those been?) or, just not being careful about touching the food directly. I mean don't get me wrong, what a fun place to bring the kids, fun more for them though, than someone like me, who has a slight germ phobia. Just keep it clean and I'll keep coming back. read more

Frenzi has a nice location, and a good atmosphere/vibe for a group to get dessert after dinner. It is kid friendly. They have great toppings. But I'm just not a fan of the make-your-own / pay-by-the-oz business model. You end up getting kind of cheap-tasting frozen yogurt loaded with toppings, as opposed to a real ice cream shop where you could try other yummy concoctions. I'm still a fan of 31 flavors and the like. But if make-your-own frozen yogurt is your thing, Frenzi is as good as any of them. read more

I've noticed that many other froyo places have bright white painted walls that are somewhat "blinding". Happily, Frenzi feels really inviting inside with more subdued decor. They have booths in back, sofa and "softer" seating in the middle, and stools at a counter looking out the big window in front. . .so you can "choose your atmosphere" while enjoying your treat. They have the basic flavors but also some really awesome unique flavors; including an almond milk and coconut milk option! (Vegan and GF!) I drove all the way from dufur to get frozen yogurt! they were closed!!! When there website says they are open. Very irritated

The yogurt is just the mortar. It's the matrix with which we infantilize our sweet-tooth solution. Forget about the low-fat and non-fat yogurt Baby Huey, and extrude a premium summit into that biodegradable paper cup. Waddling over to the toxic-red, yellow, green dye candy bar, scoop in some fractured Heath bars, Junior Mints, cookie dough, gummy worms, marsh-mellows, M & Ms, and red cherries - good job young fella. Now pump a squirt of hot caramel on top, and then top that by spaying the whole thing with Hydrofluorocarbons and what ever else is really in that whip-cream can. Almost done. Now swim against the tide and push your way backwards through the line. Just cry big crocodile tears, stamp your feet and hold your breath until you turn blue if anyone objects. Grab one more red cherry and drop it on top. Now eat it with a corn-based biodegradable spoon while texting your friends. Maybe we can go see a super-hero movie too! read more

It's self-serve frozen yogurt at $0.44 cents per ounce. There's the usual chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry froyo but if you don't want to be reminded of sitting in the dental chair with fluoride drooling out of your mouth then steer away from strawberry. Cake batter & New York cheesecake are daily flavors but when mountain blackberry rolls into the weekly special menu, get it. So good! Can't have froyo without toppings & there's over 60 colorful options to choose. Be aware this is where the small cup of froyo becomes the small, pricey cup of froyo. The lounge area is reasonably spacious with a decent amount of seating for large groups. It also has been relatively clean both times I've visited. The staff look bored out of their minds but there isn't anything exciting about weighing froyo, punching stamp cards, & cleaning after small children / young adults as a job so I'd be right with them. The price per ounce is a little higher than I've seen elsewhere (Portland) but if you're in Gresham & craving froyo then Frenzi can help you with that. read more

It's a nice treat to have a self-serve yogurt place a bit closer to home. The TCBY in Gresham does not offer the freedom of self-serve and YoCream over by the airport was a bit of a trek if we were just going for dessert. Frenzi found a great location, right in the middle of downtown Gresham next to Boccelli's. If you have been to YoCream you will know what to expect. Ten self-serve flavors (they carry YoCream brand yogurt which happens to be based here in Portland) and plenty of topping options (around 40 to be exact.) The space is nicely appointed with plenty of seating and a few small kid size tables. They also serve soup and have a cooler filled with numerous beverage options. The price definitely adds up quick at .44 cents per ounce so dropping close to $5 for a small cup is not difficult. We visited on the 2nd day they were open and the one shortcoming I noticed was the lack of appealing fruit topping options(sure I know this is a bit subjective.) They were offering only blueberries, pineapple and kiwi, definitely missing some of the more standard options such as strawberries, raspberries etc. But I trust they will add those as options in the near future. Overall a great addition to downtown. UPDATE: Toppings have been expanded and fruit selection is now usually great. Nice job read more

I'm really happy there's a frozen yogurt place in downtown Gresham; it's very close to go to for me. I like how it's self serve, there's fresh fruit toppings (I got strawberries, mango, blackberries, and blueberries) (adding almonds created a crunchy edge), and the yogurt has active cultures, which is good for you. It's even kosher! And the spoons are compostable. You can even read the ingredients for each yogurt flavor they have. No high fructose corn syrup. Lots of sugar though, but I choose to ignore it; I justify it as better to consume in yogurt vs. soda. Yeah! The place is really open, lots of windows, and there are comfortable chairs as well as the expected hard tables/chairs. There's a cozy fake fire to complete the surrogate living room space. I'm looking forward to bringing my book : ) Having late hours is nice for dessert after dinner. Not sure if there's free wi-fi, which would make it just right. read more

I love Frenzi. As someone who is addicted to froyo, this shop is handy to have in the neighborhood. Located on the Main strip in downtown Gresham, it's a great place to get a few minutes of relief on a hot day (they are air conditioned) or to enjoy a cold treat in the winter (they have a mini fireplace). We like grabbing some on a weekend night and strolling Main strip, where there is often live music on summer evenings. They usually have 8 offerings, including sugar-free. Many, many toppings to chose from, including fresh fruits, candies, syrups and whipped cream. They also have a freezer where you can pick up larger containers of their goodness. The establishment is very clean and has plenty of seating inside. They are very reasonably priced and offer a punch card. Great, now I want some!! read more

I was so happy when I first discovered Frenzi! So much closer to my house than YoCream at Cascade Station is, and still sells YoCream deliciousness, always having great flavors on tap and reasonably priced. It is, in my opinion, definitely the go-to place in Gresham for frozen yogurt. (TCBY who...?!) One of the things I really enjoy about Frenzi is how spacious it is and how much more seating there seems to be compared to YoCream. I also love the wide variety of toppings they have available to choose from. Yes, they have the not-so-healthy options of candy bars, cookie dough pieces, marshmallows, etc. etc. But they ALSO have healthier choices too - fresh fruits (mainly berries and, if I remember right I've seen kiwi, too), granola, almonds, peanuts and others. Nobody there is forcing you to "waddle over" - as another yelper put it - and shovel on the sweets. People know what the healthier options are, what you choose to put on your yogurt is up to you. The shop has always been clean and the staff friendly each time I've been there. I will continue to be a customer as long as this place is open. read more

I find that most self serve frozen yogurt places are about the same. I frequent this one often because it is close to home. Frenzi's always has great flavors and carries a lot of good toppings. The enviornment is laid back, having couches and a TV so you can just sit and relax while eating your yogurt. Most of the staff is friendly, although the last guy that served me seemed like he didn't want to be there. I come for the yogurt though and don't have any complaints about Frenzi. read more

It's the classic serve-yourself yogurt that can be found everywhere with various names, but the location, staff, and general feel of the place is one of my favorites. Unlike many of these yogurt places, there is a ton of seating and hang out areas, and they even have soups. However, despite how many places there are to sit, you might actually be stuck without a seat because this Frenzi is busy almost all day. The price is actually very reasonable for what you can do, for three of us it's usually only $15, and we go crazy with the toppings. The toppings are almost always perfect, they're usually not sour and they do have hot caramel and fudge! The staff is usually quite friendly and talkative, and I've never tried a flavor I didn't like. Very nice place to go to. read more
