Good alternative to Starbucks if you're looking for a good study place and good coffee. The place is pretty big with decent amount of tables and chairs for studying. I do like that they have a couch, but there's only one. We got the matcha pandan and the miso caramel iced latte. The matcha one was pretty good. You barely taste the coconut taste which can be good or bad for some folks, depending on what your preference is. The miso latte was also pretty good, but you also don't really taste much miso either. I think I taste a tiny hint of it but I'm not even sure. It was still a pretty good latte. They have some pastries, but very little selection. They should expand the snacks/food section. I think people would enjoy some breakfast/lunch with coffee while studying. I'm a matcha lover and can tell they have quality matcha powder because the drinks come out a nice shade of green and tastes smooth. They recently released a Black Sesame Matcha for the winter season, I enjoyed the sesame cream top, it had an earthy/nutty flavor with a hint of sweetness. I wish I sweetened my matcha a little bit more to balance the sesame/matcha. You can ask the barista to customize your sweetness preference or there's also self service simple syrup. The Hojicha Latte lightly sweetened was also super yummy! Honorable mention of the Calamansi Matcha Tonic from the summer menu, it was refreshing on a hot day! The miso caramel latte tasted lackluster, the miso caramel combination could have been good, but the miso overpowered the caramel and left me with a nutty salty flavor, and was missing the sweetness of the caramel which could have revived the experience. The espresso was weak and bland. The sesame matcha was undrinkable. The matcha had a nice green color, but tasted bitter and bland. The sesame foam was not sweet, and overpowered the drink, offering no relief from the bitter matcha. Came on a weekday afternoon. I get they're still a new business, therefore, it will be very busy for the next couple months.... However, waiting 40 minutes for mid coffee? Wish I had tried this place on a slower day. I ordered an iced Pandan Latte and my bf ordered a hot Miso Caramel. My bf is a big coffee guy and often finds something positive about any new coffee he tries, however, this time the words "I'm not too happy with this drink" came out of his mouth. As for the Pandan Latte, I have no idea what flavor was in my cup, but it wasn't pandan. I'm also disappointed in their menu. For an Asian inspired coffee shop, I was hoping they would offer more Asian inspired drinks. I'll give them another shot once they slow down, but for now, I'll steer clear and keep going to my regular shop, Volt. I will say, though, the space is beautiful.
