Came here on a Wednesday morning. It's my first time in Woodland. I got a honey lavender oat latte, a banana walnut loaf, and a blueberry scone. The baristas were very friendly and service was quick, despite the cozy shop being quite packed. The ambience is fun and tasteful, and I enjoyed my treats on the patio. Seems like a favorite spot for locals to get together. Lovely! Highly recommend!

Came here randomly on a road trip. Cool little coffee shop in a nice old looking area. Lots of character. Coffee was good pastries were good and the baristas were on top of it. We had iced coffee, a chai latte, and just a normal black. Good solid spot and if you like to support businesses that aren't big box chains this is a good option for those in the area.

I came here last weekend and the line was long, but moved at a steady pace. Cashier was friendly, but seemed stressed with how busy it was. She still maintained a good mood. There was only one barista making orders and I felt bad her since I used to be a barista in my past life. She was trying to make drinks, but would still get stopped in the process of making drinks in order to answer questions etc. Then it looked like their pastry delivery came in and they were scrambling to get that. Guy came in I'm assuming owner or manager to help make drinks. He ended up making my drink. I ordered me a large iced matcha which tasted kinda mediocre to be honest. I will have to come again to try the coffee. Place looks like a cool though.

A long-awaited review of my favorite coffee shop. Every barista here understands the art of wonderful service + how to make a delicious latte, whether it's with an extra shot or customized in some other way. Over the years, I've enjoyed a variety of drinks, including the matcha, lemonade, and chai latte. The ambiance is lively on warmer days and perfectly cozy during the colder months.

Long time since I've had such a good latte! The seasonal citrus latte and the matcha latte were both great. There's seating inside and outside with some outlets throughout. Most people were doing work but there were others just there to chat. Note: everything else surrounding is closed on Sunday? so keep that in mind if you wanted to do multiple things in Woodland.

Amazing coffee, great vibes! The menu isn't huge but what they have is great! The coffee is really the star! It's located in a really historical building. Small town neighborhood coffee shop vibes. Service is friendly. I was immediately greeted when I walked in. I got a cappuccino for here. I love the beautiful coffee art. The coffee is strong but smooth! There are pastries that look so good but I didn't get any. Definitely will get one next time! I see a lot of people working or hanging out with friends. There are a few seatings inside and outside. A nice place I wanna come back to often!

Fantastic speciality coffee shop. Great customer service in a cozy rustic location. The cortado really exemplified the quality of their roast and espresso pulls, and their drip coffee was a very pleasant single origin from El Salvador. I picked up some of their red honey processed beans from Costa Rica and I'm excited to give them a try. Always nice to see wide variety of beans especially options curated to coffee enthusiasts.

Genuinely could not possibly ask for more in a coffee spot. But it's also so much more than just a coffee spot. The most amazing and kind humans, the tastiest drinks, the vibe and the window seats, they have it all. My go-to when we are in town is an iced chai latte (bc it's always hot as heck) but we buy their beans in MASS (seriously, think 5lb bags) to store at home and I dream of popping in regularly even though we live 3hrs away. Any reviews less than 5 stars (or a stingy 4.5) are off their rocker and probably stubbed their toe on the way into the store and/or recently had their heartbroken by a barista and simply are not ready to love again. Go. Go twice. Go again before you leave town or drive to work. Just always go.

Good environment, great location, and kind staff: except for a weird stare i got from the South Asia or (middle eastern/indian) female at the end of my experience. Ordered a cold brew, i love my plastic cups, and that's what it came in. Instagram worthy cup designs. The cold brew was very nice, bold, medium roast , hints of cocoa, apricot, caramel, and dark chocolate cherry finish. You can tell they know their water chemistry, very mild acidity on the upfront sip. Would definitely be returning.

I just stopped by and I'm glad I did. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, I got a lavender latte and it was one of the best lattes I've ever had. Sweet but not too sweet with an authentic lavender taste.

Kind service and a great vibe. Unfortunately they no longer carry ANY vegan food options, which previously set them apart.

I recently enjoyed my first (and definitely not my last) dining experience at the HIVE tasting room and kitchen in Woodland, CA. I enjoyed it; the food was delicious and customer service on point. I went there with the intent of mead wine tasting but ended up not since I had driving duties. [Fun fact: mead wine has less alcohol content than grape wine.] Instead I ordered lunch and washed it down with their honey ice tea. The iced tea had a prominent honey taste. Hubs luved his, but my tastebuds were confused. Odd though because I luv honey and iced tea. We also ordered a Ruben sandwich $22 and an order of waffles. The sandwich was classic with the familiar flavors. Nice quality cut of meat, thinly shaved. The waffles $17 were topped with blueberries, slivered almonds, and orange blossom whipped ricotta cream which I asked for on the side. The ricotta cream was divine. The waffles tasted pretty darn good. However the pricing for both entrees seemed high for the serving size. But this is a type of place where folks can eat and linger to enjoy the grounds, atmosphere, and each other's company without anyone rushing you out. We enjoyed our meal out in the back outdoor patio. The landscaping is all organic with lots of pollinating and drought resistant plants and trees. The building is a zero energy building with an onsite brewing facility. The interior has a brand newish look and feel. There is a honey tasting and mead wine tasting counter, gift shop, and dining area. All of this is in an open floor plan. The indoor seating capacity is limited. The place can be rented out for events (such as a garden wedding), private facility tours. Plus they host community events. Take a peek at their website. Some events are free. Events range from tours, book readings, yoga classes, flower bouquet class, gardening... etc.

Once they opened, we did the honey tasting, and there was an incredible number of honeys that we could taste there were 7 of us and we each tried 14 honeys, 2 nut butters and 2 fruit spreads. I have to say that the tastings are the highlight of this visit because I had no idea what an amazing variety of honey wecultivate here in the Sacramento Valley. Also, my favorite honey was from Hawaii flower that's only grown on the big island... which I had to buy. The honey is insanely expensive, but when you have something that is so unique, it's worth it. After all of that tasting, I thought I was gonna have a diabetic overload, so we went and had our savory lunch. Each one of the seven of us purchased one item and asked for it to be sliced up so that we could all share. I have to say the only item on the menu that I went crazy for was the real Gouda cheese and bacon and peach sandwich. It was absolutely divine. I also really enjoyed the whipped goat cheese with honey although the nectarines on the side should have been sliced up and incorporated so that more bites could contain them. Prices are a little steep, but the atmosphere is lovely. It was a very warm day. We had the misters going. Some people didn't like getting wet, but that's OK. There was other places where you could sit and not get wet. I would definitely come here again with people new to the area to do the tasting that was super fun and I would also like to get a tour of their operation. While they don't actually harvest the honey here they contract with the local, single hive owners and they have an amazing amazing array of honeys. They do all of the packaging injuring of the products here. I was super happy to hear that they partner with the ally in a Sacramento to make their hot honey and some infuse honey's. I love shopping local and this made me super happy farm to forget it's greatest.
