If you're wandering through the heart of Sacramento looking for a cozy coffee spot with serious aesthetic appeal, this café definitely delivers. The interior balances modern minimalism with warm, earthy vibes. A place you could spend an afternoon reading, working, or just people-watching. I ordered a mocha, an Americano, and one of their signature sandwiches. The mocha was solid -- not too sweet and with a pleasant cocoa depth (7/10). The Americano leaned a bit too bitter for my taste and could've used more balance (6/10). The sandwich, however, was the real standout: fresh ingredients, toasted perfectly, and packed with flavor (9/10). Service was friendly. Prices are standard for downtown Would definitely come back for lunch or a slow morning with a book. Not my top pick for espresso purists, but a great spot if you appreciate atmosphere and good food.

So happy we stopped on by for an afternoon pick me up. Customer service was great and super friendly. My latte was a 10/10.

Nice little coffee shop. Got a vanilla latte, can't remember if they have sugar free syrup - I'm pretty sure they did. However drink was too heavy on the milk, couldn't taste the flavour of the coffee unfortunately.

Such a cute spot with plenty of space!! A hidden gem on old sac. The vibes and staff were great. Super recommend their Beam Team Matcha. A nice thick matcha latte with ube cream on top. The cream makes it super sweet.

My chagaccino was amazing! Wife liked her cortado. Tons of space. Chill vibe. Loved our time there.

Another visit to this amazing coffee shop and ever disappoints! It's been cloudy and cold in Sacramento so the vanilla latte was what I needed this early Saturday morning before holiday shopping- the service was fast and friendly and this place has all the vibes - love it

Cute spot. Nice decor and places to sit. Service was great! I asked about their mushroom coffee offerings and he recommended to mix a couple since thats what he liked to do. Sounded great and tasted amazing! This might be a must stop next time I'm in old sac.

Stopped by here since we were an old Sac for another errand. Got a drip coffee and a caramel latte which were both pretty standard. The interior was pretty, it has lots of natural lighting and ample seating. I consider stopping by if we were in the area again, but wouldn't make an extra trip out of the way just to come here.

Decent matcha, it was subtle. I think the vanilla threw it off (I usually get honey or unsweetened). Nice clean space. Baristas were friendly. Would come back to try their chaga variations and coffee. I wish they had more pastries on display. There were only 3 when I went on a Friday at 8am.

A cute little coffee shop in old sac! Actually it's not little at all! The inside is massive! My freind and I stopped in yesterday! I got an iced matcha and he got an iced coffee! Both were really good! I also like that they don't sweeten the matcha unless asked! A simple menu, lots of space! Would be a cool place to hangout and get some work done or study! If you are in old sac or have friends and family in town who want to see old sac but need coffee.. check this place out!

Came by for some coffee because the coffee place I want to try out is closed. I like Blueprint coffee project's minimalist decorations. Street parking ($3 per hour on meter) was easy in the morning. Cashier was friendly. I ordered matcha latte with lavender syrup, and oak milk. The cost of it was closed to $10. The drink came out weak on matcha and lack of lavender flavor. I was very disappointed with the price I paid for. I probably will not come back.

I had heard this opened up in Old Sacramento and finally was in the area and able to check it out. It is easy to find once you're in Old Sac. They are two parking garages (one I know you for sure have to pay for). Sometimes you can street park if you're lucky enough to find a spot. They have free WiFi too. First impression upon entering is I love how bright it is and I love how the decorated it. The seating set up perfectly maximizes the interior and it's so cool and has some really awesome photo ops. The menu is simple and easy to read. The staff is very sweet and friendly. They have food options including some gluten free pastries and savory items which is awesome! Another bonus is they have FOUR sugar free flavors! Most places have none or just one. They offer sugar free: vanilla, caramel, simple syrup and lavender! Although I do try and stick to sugar free flavors, I couldn't help but be drawn to one of their specials which was a cold brew with earl grey syrup and vanilla foam - perfect coffee choice for all my London Fog lovers! Great ambiance, atmosphere, vibes and coffee! Has definitely made its way into my top 3 places.

A very, very tasty cup of coffee! :-)

It was at the Blueprint Coffee Project that I found the only worthwhile a cup of coffee in the Old Sacramento waterfront. Yesterday it was a mildly acidic mexican, today it was a far more mellow smooth bodied colombian. The service here was quick, competent, with staff that knew what single source beans they were brewing for drip. Compare that with the answer I got around the corner: 'it's a mix of beans from places". The ambiance indoors is light and airy, with a lot of personal space. There were also a bunch of chairs and tables outside, on the wooden walkway that's a feature of Old Town. Blueprint is my go-to coffee place when visiting the waterfront.

I'm thinking to myself, sooo if you KNOW you're of something that's popular and on the menu, maybe you should put a sign somewhere stating that it's currently NOT AVAILABLE. Then I had to call back home to let my siblings know that the initial drink they wanted was not available, so they can choose something else and again the guy taking the order wad annoyed. My siblings decided upon the Mangonada with brown sugar boba and the iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. Unfortunately, brown sugar boba was not available was all out for the day according to the cashier.. but no sign stating that they were sold out. I had to call my siblings again to let them know and ask if they wanted crystal boba as a replacement. To keep the order going while I was calling them, I asked for a mochi waffle and the guy threw his hands up annoyed and was like do you not want the boba for drink? I told the cashier I'll have the crystal boba instead of the brown sugar since it's currently unavailable, and the guy goes with an attitude... soo do you want the crystal boba? I said yess...yes I do. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha was alrightt. It is definitely not all that it is hyped up to be. The drink IMO was just a basic iced matcha with chocolate drizzle on the side of the cup and the pistachio foam that barely tasted like pistachio.

They have a parking lot but it's shared with other businesses and always seems to be full, however there's a good amount of street parking and I found a spot closeby no problem. When I walked in it was a lot bigger than I expected and they had a good amount of seating. There wasn't a line when I arrived, but that quickly changed after I placed my order and I feel like there was a steady stream of customers the whole time I was there. I was welcomed in and when I let them know it was my first time they recommended some items for me. I'm not a matcha fan, so I was more interested in trying their coffee. I ordered their date orange latte ($7), the twice hojicha ($7.50), and their simple avocado toast ($9). I had heard hojicha is a less grassy, more earthy/toasty version of matcha so I was excited to give it a try and see if I liked it more than matcha. Good news! Hojicha, at least the twice hojicha from Offbeat was delicious. I enjoyed the taste of tea and the aftertaste that matcha usually has for me wasn't there. I would 100% order this again. The date orange latte (iced) was also delicious and the flavors were perfect for our warm weather. The simple avocado toast had a thick piece of fresh baked bread with a generous layer of avocado on top. I don't frequently order avocado toast but it paired well with the drinks and is a great meal to start the day. I can see why this is a favorite for so many people and now that I've finally been in, I'll be back for more!

I had never even heard of Temple Coffee Roasters until today…read more I asked ChatGPT where thoughtful, interesting, community-minded people in Sacramento tend to gather -- basically, where one might recruit good humans instead of just collect business cards -- and this was top of the list. Temple is one of those places where the espresso tastes like someone with a chemistry degree and a poet's soul got together and decided the rest of us deserved better mornings. The baristas manage to be both calm and alarmingly competent. You ask one tiny question about beans and suddenly you're getting a TED Talk from a caffeinated forest monk. And the people here actually talk to each other. Not in the fake networking-event way where everyone's secretly scanning for status. More like artists, students, organizers, remote workers, philosophers, exhausted grad students, startup people, and neighborhood regulars all accidentally sharing the same living room. Clean space. Serious coffee. Zero snob energy. Headquarters of the Revolution. Special mention to Sam, who was managing Temple Coffee Roasters when I walked in. You can tell immediately when someone genuinely enjoys helping people, and Sam absolutely does. She told me she loves adjusting drinks to fit exactly what people want instead of treating coffee like some untouchable sacred formula -- stronger, softer, sweeter, whatever makes the person in front of her happy. And she said something deeper still: helping people feel good is actually pretty easy... although sometimes it's hard. That kind of sums service up. Sam has that rare combination of warmth, competence, patience, and calm that quietly changes your mood. All of a sudden you feel like being kinda kinder. App is convenient for orders since the parking lot is small and hard to find parking. Afternoons especially on a weekday when students go. Follow their Insta to stay in the loop on promotions :)
